Jamie and Sienna walked into the cafeteria the next day. Jamie was telling Sienna about the conversation she had with Jack. Sienna groaning every once in a while as Jamie told the story.

"What the hell are you whining about?" Jamie says as they walk through to their table

"Because Jack was really good for you. I don't want it to end."

"Then you date him."

"Oh, absolutely not. Jocks are not for me."

"Oh, Jamie, Sienna." Demetri says as he stands, "Behold...what scientists believe to be the Valley
when dinosaurs roamed the Earth." He says as he uncovers his project.

"Holy shit." Sienna says

"Go ahead, press the hadrosaur egg." He says to Yasmine. The girl presses down on the egg. Jamie frowns as it starts to make noise. Moon starts to laugh as smoke starts to come out of the top like a volcano.

"Not bad! My parents may not have to pay for my A this time." Yasmine says

"Of course your parents pay for your A's." Sienna mumbles

"Your parents will never have to pay for an A again. Whatsoever. This thing is a masterpiece." He says as he turns to Moon. The girl smiling in excitement, "I mean, everything's to scale. And at 8,251 individual pieces, this meticulously assembled model represents the exact moment
before the asteroid hit..."

Jamie jumps as a ball flies over and completely destroys the project. Sienna and many other students gasp.

"Oh. Pfft...I'm sorry, man." Hawk says insincerely as someone throws him his ball, "Looks like my ball just got away from me."

"That took me three weeks to build." Demetri says

"Eh, took my ball three seconds to destroy." He smirks before he walks off

"Do you have another one?" Yasmine says. Jamie and Sienna squint as they look at her. Demetri storms over to Hawk.

"Another week, another pissing contest. I shouldn't be surprised since you love pissing so much." He spits. Jamie follows behind him, Sienna not too far behind, but far enough so she's not in the middle. She looks over as Sam sets her tray by Moon.

"You landed one kick. You got lucky." Hawk says

"Back off, or you won't be lucky." Sam says as she walks up by Demetri. Jamie rolls her eyes.

"Like you'll start anything, princess. Why don't you go sleep with someone new and break his heart?" He scoffs

Jamie backs up as Sam pushes Hawk.

"What's going on, Miss LaRusso?" A counselor says. Jamie sneaks off to Sienna.

"I'm not getting involved in that shit." She says as the girls leave to their table.

Jamie and Sienna sat outside on the bench in their gym clothes. They were supposed to be playing in a soccer game, but Sienna refused seeing as it was Hawk's team against Sam's team. She convinced Jamie not to play as well, which didn't take much convincing.

"Ugh, he's so cocky it's annoying." Sienna said groans. Jamie looks over and sees Hawk walking with his friends. People jumping out of the way as they pass.

Jamie laughs, "I don't know how you were even on that karate team. I'd lose my shit."

"Yeah, but it wasn't for him." Jamie mutters

The game starts and Jamie could already tell what was going on. Sam slamming the opposing team as they kicked the ball around. Both teams inflicting unnecessary physical contact. The girls watch as Demetri shoves and kicks Hawk to the ground. They couldn't count how many times the ref had to blow the whistle to try and get them to stop.

The ref blows the whistle a final time as Sam literally kicks a kid in his face.

"You know what? That's it! Everyone to the principal's office now!" The ref yells

"Yup, saw that coming." Jamie says as she rests her head on her hand. Sienna laughs as they watch the teens walk back to the school.

Jamie made it to the hospital to visit Miguel. As she's walking to his room, she sees Johnny.

"Hey, sensei."

He turns to her, "Hey, Ms. Jackson. Here to see Miguel?"

She nods, "You can go first."

"Oh, no you go ahead."

"Okay." She walks in and sees Miguel reaching for his phone, "Hey, you need help?"

He looks over and sighs in relief, "Please." She smiles as she walks over. She sees Miguel turn to the door. "What are you doing here?"

Jamie looks over at Johnny, "Put it down, Ms. Jackson." He says. She looks at Miguel who furrows his brows. She puts the phone down, "Want the phone?" Johnny says

"Yes." Miguel sighs. Jamie backs up as Johnny takes the cart and pushes it to the wall.

"Go get it." He says

"I can't walk. Even with the surgery I might never..."

"Quiet!" Johnny yells. Jamie jumps as Miguel's eyes widen, "Never," "can't...." Those are just meaningless words. Time to get out of bed and do something. You're not a kid. The world won't hand it to you."

Miguel looks around before his eyes land on Jamie. The girl shrugs.

"You want something, you'll have to crawl, use your damn teeth if you have to. You'll do whatever it takes. And I'll always be right here next to you. 'Cause I'll always be your teacher." Johnny says. She smiles as she sees Miguel look up at Johnny, "Now go get it."

"Yes, Sensei." Miguel says. He rips his blanket off and sits up using the side of the bed to help himself. Jamie sighs nervously as she watches him.

"You got this. That's it." Johnny says.

Miguel breathes heavily as he uses all of his upper body strength. He looks down at his legs, "Come on." He says to himself, "Come on."

Jamie smiles as he continues leaning over.

"Okay." He says. As he reaches forward, he loses balance and falls off of the bed.

"Oh my god." Jamie gasps.

"Oh, shit." Johnny says, "It's all right. You fell like a champ."

"What?" Jamie frowns bewildered as she kneels down to Miguel, "Are you okay?"

"Nurse!" Johnny yells
