Tuesday, the vast infinite blue sky, hovering over them without pity.

"A piece that sits in my heart that was empty somewhere" -puzzle piece, nct dream

Two heads peaked out of the wall , one shushing the other one whilst swallowing a lump in his throat.

Their breathing halted as a sound of a stomp was heard.

"I told you not to move!" the boy said softly.

Instinctively, the boy placed his hand on the latter's mouth, stopping him from blabbing further.

Looking at the two clueless girls, the boys sighed in relieve as they continued their adventure.

"Chenle, do you think she's really that girl Ji Geon mentioned?"

"What girl?"

"Oh the girl with pigtails, didn't you told me that-"
Jisung turned to his side, only to face a stunned Chenle.

Behind him stood the protagonist of the drama, still having the same handsome smirked planted on his face.

"What are the two of you doing?"

Plastering a nervous smile on their faces, the two boys suspiciously stuttered out whatever words that came to mind.

"HEY HYUNG! We were- uhh Chenle what were we doing again?" Jisung stuttered upon his words, coughing dramatically afterwards.

"Way to go, thanks for making it not obvious" Chenle thought and sighed nonetheless.

"Hyung, We were just doing what boys our age usually do... hunting for treasure!"

"Ah.. yes! We are finding a lucky penny!"

"Chenle here has been very unlucky these days so we were hoping a penny could help him a little"
Jisung smiled innocently.

"Sure boys, so the lucky penny involves a girl?"

Eyes widened at the second, the boy's mind suddenly went blank.

"Oh look at the time! The bread must be sold out by now, gotta go!" Chenle muttered out an excuse and
continued to drag the squeaky mouse behind him, immediately making a run for it.

"But didn't the stall isn't open today.." Jaemin thought as his brows raised, curious to what the two boys were up to.

Jaemin was the last person they want to tell about their mission. If he finds out, the both of them will be seen hanging off the cliff.

They both know how much Jaemin hates people sticking in his business- mostly love life and especially when it involves his ex.

Besides that, the mission was only for the two detectives, it was a secret, only known between the two. Revealing the truth would mean the other guys will know as well.

"Close shave, what did we get Mr Zhong"

"Our plan isn't going to work if we don't know the girls personally."

"Wait you don't mean-?"

"Yes Jisung, yes I do"

The memories of yesterday's events swirled in my head, causing a never-ending tornado to form.

Monday is usually the most uneventful and boring day in the entire week. You have to agree with me.

But the Monday yesterday, not only dragged for what seemed like an eternity, it brought with it some unknowing surprises.

If you are wondering, the interview went as per normal, some simple questions and personal information.

Actually, the interview went surprisingly well.
There was no conflict whatsoever, just answering.

I will be lying if i said I wasn't shock at how her tone and posture change within a second.

In the end, no one would expect the queen bee to be so eager and enthusiastic to join with a group of nerds.

She didn't seem like she will fit in.
It was exactly like me, being a misfit among the popular kids.

Of course, I couldn't forget my encounter with Jaemin in school...

I remember vividly that he said he studied at a different school. That moment assured me; I won't be getting exposed in school.

However, when he suddenly appeared in my school, I can't help but feel a sense of doubt.

Has he been fooling me all along?

I was pretty sure he knew my existence as I was in fact, the loser in school. Despite the fact that I was in the student council, everyone still treat me disrespectfully.

They didn't care about authority and leadership, all they care about is my relationship with the alleged playboy.

Sighing, I contemplated whether to go to his tuition class today.

Why did it have to be Tuesday so soon.

Ironic. Isn't it.

Work over pride. Right that's the correct mindset to have.

On the bright side, I still had a little courage left in me.

Hopefully, it will go well.

...

Nearing the streets, I could clearly see the large bronze gate right outside of the Na's house.

As the entire house came to view, I couldn't help but obliged myself to swallow down the big lump that has formed in my throat.

Every step I took, felt like I was making my way through melted concrete.

Opening the door rather slowly, a creaking sound radiated in the tensed air.

As my eyes went down to Jaemin, I could clearly see he was feeling anxious as well but he was hiding it rather skilfully.

Fiddling with his fingers, his eyes met mine and turned into hesitant crescents.

Giving an awkward smile in return, I took all the revision materials out.

Being closer up to him made me realised I have in fact caught a glimpse at him in school before.

I was pretty sure he is part of the famous basketball team. I would be surprised if he wasn't.

"Hi about that day.. I want to thank you again, I would have fallen if it wasn't for you"
I mumbled out, curious to see his reaction.

Jaemin's eyebrows furrowed for a second as his mouth twitched, as if he was holding something back.

"No problem, be more careful next time"
He simply replied, returning an oblivious signature smile.

Did he already forgot what he had said last Tuesday?

Sigh. It was none of my business anyway.. but there's just one concerning factor...

"Hey, can you promise not to tell anyone in school that.. I'm tutoring you?"
I mumbled out, hoping I didn't sounded too domineering and desperate.

"Why? What's wrong with that"
Jaemin replied, confused as to why I would bring such a request.

"Doing that will cause a catastrophe, I mean how could a girl like me tutor a guy like you"

"I don't see any fault in it?"

"Never mind, just promise me you won't tell anyone?"
I said, trying to keep a calm composure.

"I Promise.."

With that, our tuition session returned back to normal. With a somewhat relieved girl and a baffled boy.

In addition, the tuition session would never be complete without Jaemin paying  absolutely no attention and JinRin being oblivious to the fact that there was a pair of sparkling eyes on her.
