Six

"Where are you taking me?" I ask.

"To a very special place. A place where you will learn all." Isra said.

I'm not sure I should believe this creepy spirit. These kinds of things usually happen in horror books. I think she's planning on killing me or doing something horrible to me. Yet, why do I feel like I have to follow her? I feel something with her. Some connection, a feeling which is very strong. I don't know not to believe her.

She led me to a patio made of stone. The stone was cracked. The vines grew on it like fungus. She walked up. I follow her. I see a tree with stone engraved into it. A stone plate with a being carved onto it. It was taller and bigger than a dragon. Its arms were long like a river. It had horns and hair or tentacles. I really wasn't sure. It looked like what you would find in a god's temple.

"Meet the All-Mother. The creator of the very grass you walk on. The creator of life." She said.

I look at her.

"I'm related to that?" I ask.

"We are. I was created by the All-Mother. I gave way to the forests while she gave birth to the dragons and humans and elves."

"How am I related to her?"

"Age affects us all. The All-Mother knew that one day she would wither and perish. So, she gave a piece of herself to three beings. A Dragon, a man and an elf. The man fell in love and passed on her piece to his descendants. The Dragon was hunted and killed by some humans when the wars began. The elf got imprisoned and lost his mind. The man's descendants were killed others feared their power. They've killed every single descendant of the All-Mother except me and-" She pointed at me.

"Oh my god." I breathe.
