"Still naive, huh?" He raises an eyebrow.

"Shut up." Runaan takes out his swords.

"Silly mortal." He chuckles.

"Those will do you little good." I point out.

"I'll take my chances." Runaan charges.

His swords go flying. I grab one that lands near me. This is it. The final spell. Never thought I'd be the one to kill myself but... what choice do I have. I grip the blade. I rip out the Quantum diamond.

"Aaravos, no!" Runaan goes running.

I slam the sword into my chest. I wince. I didn't think it would go through me but I'm no longer an immortal. Blood starts dripping. Black tentacles shoot out and grab him. I slowly stand up. I reach my hand out. He starts shoot lightning from his wings. I wince. Pain flashes inside my body as his lightning shocks me.

"Aaravos!" Runaan grabs me.

He clutches me tightly.

"What can I do to help you?" He whispers.

"Just be ready." I say.

My blood turns into snakes. They shoot forward and grab him. My strength is starting to fade. Blood comes out of my nose, ear, and mouth. Runaan grabs my hand. I can feel his strength giving me something. Some life. Some strength. And at this time, I need all the strength I can get. The pain is unbearable, but I think I can work with it.
