Taehyung sped up to catch up with Jungkook and Zia, who were waiting for him. He, Zia and Jungkook had to defeat the monsters on the left. They had been walking for ten minutes, but they hadn't encountered a monster yet.

"Hold on," said Zia. "We should make a plan."

"What are you thinking?" Jungkook asked. His doe eyes shining under the sun.

"How do we attack? I was thinking that we should split up and take one at a time."

"But, Jin said there are four monsters here. If we take them one by one, one of them will kill us." Taehyung said.

"We need to know where they are." Jungkook muttered under his breath.

On hearing Jungkook's words, Taehyung smiled. He had an idea.

"Should I fly and see their location? They won't see me." He proposed.

"Good idea." Jungkook answered.

Zia also agreed.

"See you in a bit." Taehyung said before summoning the wind to lift him off the ground.

He had been practising lifting himself up for the past week since he activated his powers. He found it calming to fly at night. Away from all his worries and problems. He could now fly easily.

Taehyung flew high in the air until Zia and Jungkook looked like ants. The soft breeze at that height played with his hair and tingled on his skin. His lips curved upward into a smile.

He moved forward. Lowering himself a little to see the monsters clearly. Bukhansan was rocky and covered with trees. He lowered himself even more and squinted his eyes to see between the canopy of the trees.

The mountains were a good hiding spot because of all the trees and large stones. The monsters could stay there without being spotted.

His eyes caught a flickering movement. It was too big to be a human. He dived to see what it was. The wind whistled in his ears and pushed his hair away from his face.

He was right; it was a monster. One of the most hideous of its kind he had seen. Huge, with fleshy skin and deformed features. He wanted to vomit at the sight of them.

Jin was right. There were four monsters Jungkook, Zia, and he had to kill. The monsters were about fifteen minutes away if they climbed up the stones on their path. Luckily, the monsters weren't moving and lazily stayed in one place.

He flew back and informed Zia and Jungkook about what he saw. All of them started walking in the direction Taehyung said the monsters were.

"Taehyung, you hold two of them back. I'll hold the other one." Zia told them the plan. They were hiding behind a rock, waiting for the right moment to strike. "While Jungkook, you kill the one remaining. Then kill the rest."

Jungkook had picked up a piece of metal from the ground. It had a sharp edge.

At the same time, all of them moved from their hiding spot.

Taehyung made a barrier of wind and trapped two of the four monsters. The strong wind prevented them from moving forward. Zia was concentrating on her monster, stopping it from jumping on Jungkook.

Jungkook stabbed the monster in its chest, where its heart was supposed to be. It only howled in pain but didn't die.

"I don't think it has a heart." Jungkook yelled in frustration, dodging the monster's arm.

"Slice its head off then." Taehyung yelled back.

The monsters he was holding back were constantly trying to move forward. The wind blew more harshly around them, but it couldn't prevent their movement.

Jungkook sliced the monster's head off. He moved forward and did the same to the monster Zia was holding back.

He ran towards Taehyung. Taehyung slowed the force of the wind for Jungkook to get close to the monsters. But the monster got to Jungkook before Taehyung could blink and stabbed his stomach with its claws.

Jungkook screamed in pain and thrust the piece of metal into the monster's neck. This made the monster scream, too. Jungkook's face twisted in pain.

Taehyung was about to run towards Jungkook, but he still had to hold the last monster behind.

"Zia," he yelled. "Hold this monster back."

"You can leave it Taehyung." she told him when she had gotten control of the monster.

Taehyung ran forward and took the piece of metal from Jungkook. Jungkook had killed the monster in front of him before collapsing on the ground in agony.

Zia was still holding the monster back. Taehyung ran to the monster and severed its neck off. The monster burned around them as they usually did when they died.

"Do we need a plan?" Jimin asked.

"No." Night answered. "We just burst out of nowhere and kill them."

Jimin laughed at her abruptness.

Night and Jimin didn't really have a plan. They just decided to roll with it.

Night could feel the nervousness growing inside the pit of her stomach. They could leave for Eroth today. Since Stephanie died, she hadn't thought of going to Eroth, avenging her parents.

She told Zia her biggest secret, her biggest regret. Night felt better after sharing it with Zia. Maybe it was time to move on.

"Where are the monsters?" Night asked impatiently to know one in particular.

"I think they heard we are coming and ran away, scared." Jimin joked. His grey eyes reflecting the clouds floating in the clear sky.

Night chuckled. Her nervousness creeped up on her with every step she took. She wasn't so sure about avenging her parents and restoring peace now.

"Are you nervous?" she suddenly asked him. "About Eroth?"

Jimin was quiet for a while. "Yeah," he said slowly. "I am nervous. Going to a different planet is daunting."

Night was somewhat relieved that she wasn't the only one who was nervous. She was glad she wasn't the only one who was having second thoughts.

"If we don't find anything useful at the top of the mountain, then we will have to find another way of going to Eroth." Night said.

"Yeah," Jimin agreed. "It's better we find a spaceship up there." he said, eyeing the stones in front of him darkly.

"Seriously! Where are the monsters?" Jimin asked exasperatedly after a few minutes.

He was right. They had been walking to the right of the mountain for over fifteen minutes. There was no monster in sight. Something had to be wrong.

"Jimin," she said, clutching his forearm and stopping in her tracks. "Something is wrong."

His eyes darkened quickly as they scanned the surrounding area.

Night was right. Suddenly three hideous monsters appeared, leaving a trail of slime behind them. Their fleshy skin and deformed features made her wonder if they were supposed to be made that way.

Her hand slid upward to her neck. She retrieved her black metal sword.

Jimin's hands lit up with white mist. His face shook but readied.

Soon, three monsters surrounded them. Their deformed faces formed something which would pass a sneer. Showing two teeth waiting to be knocked out.

Night raised her sword in front of her face. In level with the monster's neck. She moved her hand swiftly to slice the monster's neck, but it moved. She still managed to cut it's hand.

The monster growled and thrust it's hand out to claw her. Night, expecting this, jumped out of the way.

She slashed her sword through the air. It hit the monster's neck. It screeched when the sword dug into its neck. Night applies more pressure and moves her sword down it's neck. Separating it's neck from its body.

From the corner of her eye she saw Jimin dancing between white mist. He was holding back one monster with one hand while trying to blast the other monster apart, but the monster wasn't dying no matter how hard he tried.

Night walked over to the monster Jimin was holding back and sliced it's head off. It's body caught fire and burnt until ashes were left like the previous monster.

"Jimin," she called out. "Try slicing it's head off."

She let out deep breaths while Jimin killed the monster.

Jimin's phone rang. Jimin exchanged a look with Night before digging into his pocket for his phone. Night saw the caller ID before Jimin pressed the phone to his ear. It was Zia.

"Yeah, we are coming." Jimin said with a white face.

"What happened?" Night asked, worried.

"Jungkook's hurt. Zia says it's bad. Come on." he said, dragging her in the opposite direction.
