"HELLO, KATHERINE." Genesis greets as she enters Alaric's apartment. After Damon stormed out of the apartment because Niklaus ordered her to lure out Jenna by pretending to be Elena on the phone. Niklaus and Genesis know that Katherine is in vervain. After Genesis overheard that Damon gave Katherine a vial of vervain, Genesis immediately alerted Niklaus.
Damon got bitten by a werewolf anyway.
But with or without compulsion. Katherine will always listen to Niklaus.
"Genesis? What are you doing here?" Katherine asks confusedly with furrowed brows.
Niklaus chuckles from behind Genesis and places an arm around Genesis's shoulder, "She is my partner in crime, after all. Why shouldn't she be here?" Niklaus asks Katherine in a mocking tone. And Katherine couldn't hide the shock from her expression.
"Surprise!" Genesis exclaims with jazz hands as she and Niklaus laughs.
Katherine stutters out, her mind trying to process the information. "S-Since when?"
"Since I arrived here in Mystic Falls," Genesis answers with a shrug as she looks at her wristwatch, only an hour away before the sacrifice. Rose texted her and told her that she had put Jules in the ritual circle and that Cassandra was slowing down her transformation and that Jenna is already turned into a vampire.
"Why?" Katherine asks with wide eyes. Genesis has been with Klaus from the start, and she knows their moves and everything. She spied for Klaus. Katherine's mind is working gears in her head.
"Because I can, and I want to." Genesis answers boredly as she looks at Niklaus, "And he's a friend. He would have done the same if the roles were reversed." Genesis grins at him as Niklaus chuckles, nodding in agreement.
"I would've. But you did a wonderful job deceiving them." Niklaus muses as he points his eyes towards Katherine, who is gaping at them, "I mean, look at yourself right now, Katerina."
"Don't go blabbering about it now." Genesis walks towards Katherine crossing her arms as she raises an eyebrow.
Before Katherine could say anything, Niklaus spoke up. "She wouldn't, won't you, Katerina?" Niklaus looks at her in a threatening way, his eyes glaring.
"I won't."
"Good. Or else you won't have a heart in your chest." Genesis grins, turning around and walking towards the kitchen as she takes a bottle of wine. Genesis took off the cork and poured herself and Niklaus a drink. Niklaus walks towards the kitchen counter as Genesis slides over the wine glass to him.
Genesis raises the glass. "A toast to being a hybrid after a millennium." Niklaus's grin turned into a smile as their glasses clinked.
"And to friendship."

"THE SACRIFICE IS COMPLETED IN STAGES AS THE FULL MOON SETS. The werewolf is killed, then the vampire, and finally, the doppelganger. Once Elena dies, the curse will be broken. Klaus will become a hybrid." Elijah informs Stefan and Alaric, with Genesis walking beside him.
"So when do we attack?"
"Elena's death will activate his dormant werewolf side. He'll be vulnerable during the transformation. That's where Bonnie comes in." Elijah answers, eyes briefly flickering towards Genesis as he halted, facing Stefan and Alaric.
Oh, Bonnie won't be present in the sacrifice. They think she's coming up with some sort of plan or spell that would help and save Elena, but she, her brother, and the Martins are currently packing their staff to be delivered to Genesis's penthouse in Seattle. Their flight is tonight.
Caroline is currently taking care of Tyler Lockwood's transformation, while Giana and her mom are also getting ready to pack their staff, but they won't be leaving until next week.
"You're sure Bonnie will survive this?" Stefan asks Elijah with squinted eyes, skepticism in his voice. Bonnie will survive; she'll be on a plane to Seattle in two hours.
"If she can deliver him to the brink of death, I'll finish the job myself." Elijah firmly says, and Genesis walks towards him with worry as she intertwines her hands with his, with Elijah looking at her as if their eyes are communicating.
Everything goes according to plan.
Stefan's phone rings. He looks at Elijah and then walks a few steps away from them, and he is talking to Damon. About Jenna being the vampire in the sacrifice.
And Stefan came up with the solution.
Stefan Salvatore will take Jenna Sommer's place in the ritual.
"You're very honorable." Elijah commends Stefan as they walk away from the old ruined house where Jeremy and Alaric are waiting for Bonnie.
"Are you?" Stefan counters with his hands tucked in his pockets, facing him. "Because this whole plan is...It's contingent upon your honor, Elijah."
"I won't fail you."
"Klaus is your brother." Stefan reminds him, "I know I've wanted to kill my brother a thousand times. I've never been able to."
Elijah nods, pretending with considering Stefan's words, "Well, Klaus was not my only brother. I had siblings. Parents. I had a family. Over the centuries, Klaus hunted them down one by one..." Elijah tells him as Genesis hides a grin as she stands beside him, "And he took them from me. He scattered them across the seas where their bodies could not be found."
"You want revenge."
"Sometimes there's honor in revenge, Stefan. I won't fail you." Elijah assures him, and Stefan purses his lips with a nod of his head, "Please end this." Stefan walks away from them as Genesis wraps a hand around his hand, as they both walk toward his car.
Nice pity story, Elijah. It's very believable. Genesis says in his mind, and Elijah's head snaps towards her in confusion as her pointing finger goes to her lips, glancing at Stefan's disappearing figure.
Elijah chuckles as he shakes his head, an amused grin on his lips. Elliot and Rose are at Steven's quarry; they're making sure that everything is set.
It was impressive how she managed to sneak into his head, but he hoped that communicating was the only thing she could do. For Genesis, yes, communicating is the only thing she can do. She doesn't have enough magic to look over Elijah's mind and his memories.
But in some twisted way, Elijah wished she could see it and how he met her in his perspective, then maybe it wouldn't be as much pain for the both of them.

"GENESIS?" Stefan asked in a confused tone, "What are you doing here?" As Genesis walked up to them, she wasn't supposed to be there, and she was supposed to wait in the old house, making sure that Alaric and Jeremy stayed in place.
"I'm here to help a friend," Genesis tells Stefan, halting as she crosses her arms on her chest and continues with a mischievous grin, "...Niklaus, are you ready to break your curse?" Genesis asks as her eyes settle on Stefan's reaction, amused at the betrayal that crosses Stefan's face.
"For centuries now," Niklaus grins. Genesis sped behind Stefan, stabbing him with a wooden stake in the back. He groaned painfully as she heard Elena gasp. She broke the wooden stake, leaving a chunk of wood on Stefan's chest.
"I've been wanting to do that since 1927, fuck, it sure does feel good," Genesis laughs-it is sadistic and dark, like the laugh of the devil being jolly of all things that it is evil. Rose and Elliot are suddenly in front of her, looking at her amusedly.
"Surely, well deserved." Elliot grins as his foot pushes over Stefan. Stefan lands with his back on the ground. Stefan's eyes flickered to each of them, and they settled on Rose.
"Rose?" Stefan mutters painfully as another wave of betrayal crashes over him.
"Hi, Stefan." Rose grins. She looks at Elliot and then motions her head toward the top of the cliff. So sped up, watching over the process of the sacrifice. Niklaus crouches on the ground as he snaps Stefan's neck. Elena yells in agony.
"Whenever you're ready, Cassandra, Clementine."
Genesis goes towards the altar and leans on a tree as she watches over Cassandra and Clementine, who are both muttering out incantations that Genesis knew herself. Cassandra raises her hand as the flames surrounding Jenna diffuse.
"Your turn." Niklaus looks at Jenna as Elena protests.
"It's alright, Elena. But I know what to do." Jenna tells her niece. She glances towards Cassandra and Clementine, who are focused on the altar, and Genesis grins.
No, she certainly does not.
Before Jenna could get her hands on Clementine, Genesis had already caught her, holding Jenna by the neck with Niklaus in front of her, "Not fast enough, auntie Jenna." Genesis taunts as Niklaus stabs Jenna in the chest, with Elena crying in the background.
Jenna's skin turns gray, veins crawling in her skin, dead. Genesis threw her carelessly on the ground as she went back towards the tree, back leaning on the trunk.
"Nice catch, Gen." Elliot laughed with Rose as Genesis's eyes went towards them. They were sitting on the cliff now, legs swinging on the edge as they watched the events unravel before them. Genesis rolls her eyes playfully in response.
After pouring the vampire's blood into the bowl, it's Elena's turn. The fire that surrounded her diffused, Niklaus offered her his hand, but she walked past him, confidently striding towards the altar as Elena looked at Genesis with confusion and betrayal.
"Why are you doing this?"
Genesis shrugs, "Mortals are born, live, then die. It's a cycle." Genesis tilts her head as she looks at Elena, a sadistic smile on her plump red lips, "Your death won't certainly make humankind extinct."
"And you were born to die, Elena. With or without the Salvatore brothers, honestly, they are such a kink in our plans."
"Thank you for your service, Elena Gilbert. You certainly won't be missed." Genesis teases as she points towards the cliff's edge where Elliot and Rose are-joined by Caroline, Bonnie and Simon.
Elena follows her finger and sees her two best friends, who are looking at her with anger. Caroline grins, waving her hand as Bonnie watches with a relieved expression, and Simon, that man, rarely shows emotion, but Genesis could see the slight smile on his face.
"They came here to watch you die, Elena," Genesis tells the girl, and Elena's head snaps towards her, but before Elena can respond, Niklaus has his mouth on her neck, draining her blood. Stefan cries out-guess he's awake.
Elena drops to the ground, dead. As Clementine and Cassandra's chants stop. Niklaus walks down to the altar, breathing heavily. "I can feel it," Niklaus says, and Genesis looks at him intriguingly.
"It's happening." Niklaus looks at the moon then his bones start to break. He's transitioning into a wolf. His fangs elongated, eyes turning into bright yellowish gold color with veins on his cheeks.
Then suddenly, he was thrown to the ground. Genesis furrows her eyebrows as she begins to panic and is about to rush towards him until her head snaps towards Damon, with a witch on his side. Genesis looks at Rose and Elliot as they speed down, but the witch gives them an aneurysm, and they both begin to yell out in pain.
How did they get a witch? And one name came to Genesis's mind.
Fucking John Gilbert.
Caroline then sped Simon down as his hands were raised, giving Damon an aneurysm with the witch fighting against him. Simon snapped the witch's neck, landing on the ground, dead. Genesis then helped Niklaus stand as Rose and Elliot finally regained their balance.
"Get them out of here!" Genesis yells towards them, motioning toward Cassandra and Clementine. Within a blur, they were gone. Damon looks up as he sees Caroline, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.
"Caroline?"
"Fuck you, Damon." Caroline spat out as she took Simon and Bonnie with her.
Stefan looks at Elijah, "Elijah, what are you doing?"
"Helping my brother with his transformation," Elijah responds with a grin, snapping Stefan's neck and Damon's and then speeding Niklaus and Genesis out of the place.
It all went according to plan after all.
Author's Note:
-Of course, we all know that Elena isn't really dead, because I plan on doing something much more better😋
