[ bye-bye knox ]
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. Your movements were stealthy and timed, and soon enough, you had found your target; head tilted as he watched some large computer screens. You dropped from the roof, and Knox turned around with a smile before it vanished into a scowl.
He stuttered your name, eventually saying it completely. "Y/N," he said shakily, making you smirk. "Thank God, you're alive." A gun cocked from behind you as he let out a breath, regaining confidence. "Forgive me, you know my better half."
"It figures I would meet the perfect guy, and he'd already have the perfect girl," you said, still smiling.
Knox chuckled, holding his chest. "You wound me, Y/N, you really do. Because I know I'm not your perfect guy. You've already got him."
Suddenly, a light turned on overhead, revealing a person strapped to a chair. Their hands were tied to their back, bound to a chair, and from what you could do from underneath the straw bag over their head, a piece of cloth was stuffed into their mouth. "What the hell is this, Knox?"
"Just a smoking hot lawyer," he answered with a smirk, walking over to the chair. With a flourish, he lifted the bag. A gasp escaped your lips as your gaze locked onto Dallas' bright blue eyes, which held dark and deep bags underneath them. They widened with fear, immediately waking up from his tired gaze as he began shouting through his gag, the yells coming out muffled.
"You are such an ass," you hissed, glaring at Knox.
"Aw," he feigned hurt, pressing a hand to his heart. "Don't know how I'm gonna live with that one. Boys, tie her down."
You watched as two men entered the room, immediately moving into your space as they took hold of your arms. You exclaimed in retaliation, kicking your legs, but they were strong, quickly tying you down, forcing you to the same fate as Dallas. "I'm gonna kill you, Knox!"
"Be a dear, and hush that gorgeous mouth of yours. Jimmy, Paulie, go secure Bosley, would you? Like now, now, now, now!" Eric ordered, the men quickly scrambling to get up and leave. "You know, Y/N, under different circumstances, I think you and I would've made a great couple." He was drawing some on a roll of duct tape as he spoke.
You watched as Dallas' eyes practically bugged out his head, shooting you a questioning look. "Yeah, if you hadn't shot me out the window and tried to kill everyone I love, I think we could've had a chance," you agreed in mock agreement.
"Can you uh, keep a secret? I mean, you can't tell anybody."
"That you're disgusting?" you sassed with a smile.
He breathed out a chuckle, leaning forward. "You have the fullest, sweetest..." He bit the air in front of you. "Most luscious lips I have ever..." He stuck the duct tape onto your mouth, where in red sharpie, was a sloppy drawing of a pair of lips. "Kissed." You groaned into the tape, throwing your head back in annoyance and anger. A phone rang as you tried to get out of your bindings. "I just gotta take this call." He walked over to the desk, answering the phone. Eric lifted the device up to you with a teasing grin, before answering, "Mr. Bosley's phone, Eric Knox speaking."
"Mr. Knox? This is Charles Townsend," Charlie's voice sounded through, making you tear up. "I'm delighted the angels came through for you. Are you in the office? "
"Nope, we're all down at the beach, having mimosas. Can you join us?" Knox asked, staring at you as you struggled in my chair.
"I'll take a rain check, Eric, I've made other plans. Is Bosley there? "
"Oh no, he just went to the men's room. He'll be right back. Oh no, wait, wait, wait. He's coming. Bosley?" Knox held the phone away, glancing down at the computer. You sniffled, becoming restless, tears slipping down your cheeks and onto the tape. "That's not him. Sorry. Can you hold on one second longer?"
"Not a problem."
"Bosley?" Eric continued to track time, waiting for the scanning to complete. "He's coming, sir. Sorry, not him. Can I take a message?"
"Just tell him I called, as planned."
A beep sounded. The tracking was complete. Charlie was found.
"Gotcha," Eric smiled, ending the call, and you yelled out through your tape in despair. "That man's got a beautiful telephone voice." He sat up, marching over to you. "And that's the last time you'll ever hear it." Eric kissed you through the tape before ripping it off. You let out a yelp from the pain and from the anger boiling inside of you. "Bad news, baby. I gotta leave. I have to go torture and kill your boss. Then I'll be back for your lovely boyfriend," Eric said as he pulled the cloth out of Dallas' mouth, making him sputter. "You know, when we fucked, she wasn't even looking at me. You're good to go man." Knox let out a laugh as Dallas struggled viciously, before he left the room. "Mikey, Jerry...You guys like angel cake?"
You looked up, finding a group of men, two of which had strapped you down. They had soon pissed you off, muttering inexplicable words of the angels and yourself. In your fit of anger, you smashed the bottom of the chair, lifting your legs up, kicking the jaw of the man in front of you, sliding backwards. The group was quick to run at you, but at the rising of your legs, they came to a stop.
"Wait, wait, wait! I got something to tell you," you called, switching your eyes to each male. "By the time this is over, every one of you is gonna be face down on the floor, and I'm gonna waltz on out of here with him," you said, making eye contact with Dallas, watching as his face scrunched up in confusion. The men chuckled, not believing you, advancing again. "You're not listening to me. See first, you're gonna help me out of my chair. And then, I'm gonna leapfrog over you, before I break his nose. And since I have nothing to cut these ropes with, I'm gonna do all this with my hands tied behind my back." You relaxed your legs and quickly winked at Dallas.
"Let's get her!"
You were never one to back out on promises, so as you posed in front of the heap of men lying on the floor, groaning in immense pain, you exclaimed, "And that's kicking your ass."
You raised your gaze from the men to Dallas, who was watching you with a dopey grin and hooded eyes. You chuckled, walking over to him as you proceeded to untie his hands. You knelt down in front of him, allowing him to slowly lower his gaze. Although he held a lusty expression, pure tiredness was the overwhelming focus in his gaze. "You're incredibly," he mumbled, hands slowly raising from behind his back to your arms. The way he touched you was as if he didn't believe any of this was real. That you weren't real.
"I already know that," you softly agreed, causing a tired chuckle to escape his cracked lips.
"Let me take you out," he said.
"You're exhausted," you pointed out, standing up. His fingers fell from your arms, taking place at your hips, holding you tighter than before.
"Doesn't matter."
"It does to me."
"Well now it matters."
You chuckled, eyebrows creasing as you pursed your lips. "How about this? You ask me again when your mind is clear."
"Alright," he nodded. For a moment, you stayed still, watching the man in front of you before he smiled. "Mind is clear. Let me take you out."
"Dallas!" you scolded with a grin.
"Come on, Y/N," he pleaded. "My mind is usually a mass of stupid jokes, what my parents what for Christmas and laws that I need to remember. You take up every other thought that comes to mind. And this one has been in my head forever." Pulling you down, you allowed him as you bent your knees, facing him directly. "Let me take you out."
You sighed, lulling your head back. "I'm picking, and you're buying," you grinned, repeating the words from that fateful day at the office.
"Of course."
You and Dallas dashed through the hallways hand in hand, but as you passed a corner, you found yourself crashing into a chest. Looking up, you discovered it to be Bosley, and he was wielding an axe. Wordlessly, you held your arms out, and he responded with the raising of his arm, the weapon crashing down through the handcuffs. With a smile, you shrugged the metal off of your hands before wrapping your arms around the man, who returned it with a chuckle. Kissing his cheek, you leaned back, "Thanks Bos! By the way, Bosley meet Dallas. Dallas meet Bosley. Keep him safe!"
"Me or him?" he shouted back, glancing back at the blonde before holding his hand out in greeting. "John Bosley. Pleasure."
"Dallas," he nodded, returning the gesture as the pair shook hands.
You rushed outside, smiling in relief when you found the angels. They were currently fighting off Vivian and the Thin Man, and as much as you hated to say it, the girls were teetering a little to close to the edge of the castle. Glancing down, you discovered a chain-link. You picked it up, and with great force, spun it around in the air. With a grunt, you threw it and twisted it so that it wrapped itself around the two enemies' waists. Crying out, you pulled on it, the pair tumbling to the side.
Suddenly, the whirring of a helicopter sounded, and you and the angels looked up to see Eric sitting in the machine, aiming one of the built-in guns at you. He tilted his head, sending you a puckered kiss, before releasing the missile. In sync, you and the angels ran to the other side of the castle, leaping off the edge just as the missile made contact with the stone.
You fell to the ground in a coughing fit as you covered your ears to expel the noise. Glancing up with squinted eyes, they widened as out of nowhere, a large car drove out from the forest, Bosley in front. He yelled out as the car landed. "Come on, we're gonna miss happy hour," he joked. You and the girls stood from the ground, and your smile grew as you found Dallas at the front, who offered you a tired wave and wink. Alex wore a look of confusion as you hopped up beside him, the man greeting you with a smile.
"Who's the blondie?" she asked.
"That's Dallas," Natalie whispered with a giggle, the girls watching the interaction.
Her eyes widened as her mouth formed an "O" shape, before morphing into a smile, until her attention returned to the mission. "He's heading north, just past Paradise Cove!" Alex shouted.
"Oh, boy, they found him. That's Charlie's cabin," Bosley worried.
"You've seen him?" you questioned from the back seat.
"You've seen Charlie?" Dylan asked.
"I am his trusted friend and employee," Bosley stated, matter-of-factly.
"You mean you've actually met Charlie?" Natalie asked with doubt.
"What do you mean, 'met'?"
"Like you've actually seen him with your own eyes?"
Bosley nodded a bit, before his face dropped and he mumbled out in confession. "I saw his hand."
"It could've been anybody's hand," Alex scoffed, rolling her eyes as she prepared her bow and arrow. The man continued to drive, now with a sulking frown as he followed after Eric. "Alright, let's see if I can win the teddy bear!" She aimed the bow and arrow towards the helicopter, the sharp spear flying and stuck itself within the metal floor, the rope attached to it now soaring.
You all quickly locked a clip into place and let out a yell as you quickly flew up, the rope and slide supporting your weight. You and the angels pulled yourselves up, reaching out and curling your fingers tightly onto the landing rod beneath the helicopter. You entered the open doorway, whilst the girls began their work on the inner machinery of the missile launchers.
You glared at Eric as he chuckled, "Sorry, Charlie." He went to press the launching button for the missile, but you moved in before he could, swiftly punching him in the face. He pulled the directing lever to himself as he lurched, causing the helicopter to jerk backwards from the sudden shift. You heard the girls screams as they held on tight, each calling to one another.
You proceeded your assault on Eric, kicking and punching with staggered breaths as he desperately tried to steer the machine. He hit you in the stomach when he got the chance, lifting slightly from the driver's seat to push you into the back wall, hearing a thud as you groaned.
Underneath the helicopter, Alex grinned in victory as she decoded the missile, changing the settings of the weapon so that when temperature grew in the radius, the missile would aim at the surge of heat.
Eric pressed the red launching button, the missile being released from its metal hole and soon flying off into the distance. "Get Y/N! The missile's making a round trip!" Alex yelled as Natalie pulled an under-wire."
Knox cheered in triumph as he watched the missile, but it soon dropped as the weapon soon swirled in the air, now heading directly at the helicopter. "No!" he shouted.
Dylan climbed into the helicopter, gaze zeroing in on you as she shouted your name. With a glare, you sent one last punch at Eric, your knuckles colliding with his jaw, hearing a satisfying crack following the hit. You spun around, running to Dylan and grasped her hand in yours. The pair of you leaped out of the helicopter, Natalie and Alex following suit.
Right as you fell, the helicopter exploded. Bye-bye Knox.
