FOR SOME WEIRD REASON, OBITO really wanted to have the kid's bedroom with the car-shaped bed. According to him, it was 'cool'. Sakura could see the novelty of it, since beds from her world were either futons or ordinary beds with wooden frames. A bed shaped like a car with a smiling face on it was certainly... unique. The only problem was that Obito was too big for it. His feet stuck out from the end of the bedβ€”something Kakashi pointed out with a laughβ€”which meant Obito would have to sleep in a sort of fetal position if he didn't want to get kidnapped from the demons hiding under the bed.Β

But Obito didn't care.Β

And of course, since he didn't fit any of the clothes in that bedroom, he had to share Kakashi's walk-in closet or the clothes from Gaara's closet. Sakura just hoped that would lessen the chances of him wearing another hideous attire ever again.Β

The next morning, they had some unexpected visitors:Β

Sakura bowed low and exclaimed, "I am so so sorry for invading your privacy!"

"We're sorry as well," Kakashi said. "She was doing all of that under our orders." He and Gaara fell into a low bow as well.

Recovery Girl eyed them critically. After several seconds, she finally let out a sigh. "I'll forgive you three just this once. I'm more concerned with how you managed to get through my security system... Perhaps I should add a few more upgrades."

Sakura couldn't help but nod in agreement, a sheepish look on her face. "The security in your backyard is especially weak."

"Right..." She said weakly.

Beside her, Aizawa sighed heavily. While he was glad that Recovery Girl wasn't too upset about this, there were more pressing matters at hand. Class 1-A with the addition of Sakura had been given a day off of school for a brief recovery, and he decided to take advantage of that (especially now that he knew Sakura was nowhere near traumatized as his students after the incident).

He had brought along Nezu, Recovery Girl, and Tsukauchi for this talk, as he felt it was best to include them. All Might was in on the secret as wellβ€”being the Number One Hero and allβ€”but he was out today.

"Now that that's settled," Nezu laced his fingers together. "I'd like to begin with the main topic. Firstly, Uchiha-san," this was directed to the male Uchiha. "I'd like to thank you for delivering the Nomu to us in a safe matter."

Obito, who had been spending the last ten minutes or so nudging a roomba with his foot, looked up. "Oh, uh, no problem." He said, scratching the back of his head. Aizawa was pleased to see that he was wearing more normal clothes this timeβ€”a pair of star-patterned pajamas and a faded Starwars tee-shirt, though he doubted the man even knew what Starwars was.

"What of the Nomu." Gaara said in his disturbingly gravelly voice. It was so weird for a fifteen year old boy to sound like that. As if he wasn't quite used to speaking so much.

"He didn't resist arrest, oddly enough," Tsukauchi answered. "We tried to question him, but he's not responding in any way. It's like he's mute."

"It's dead," Sakura stated.

"What do you mean?" Aizawa demanded, though he felt slightly troubled with how she regarded the Nomu as 'it' rather than an actual person.

"When I made contact with it, I felt for it's heartbeat. It was barely there. That, and it only registered a minimal amount of pain even after I sliced it's arm off and punched it. That thing is a walking corpse." She explained in a professional tone.

Silence. Aizawa couldn't help but feel a cold shudder at the fact that he had been fighting with a corpse the entire time, but how exactly did that man child managed to gain control of it? To make it fight when it was basically dead?

"I... see..." Tsukauchi said slowly.

"Good deduction skills, Uchiha-san!" Nezu complimented her brightly, being the only one who hadn't faltered from the news. "As expected from the student who aced my exam with flying colors!"

Sakura smiled. "Thank you, Nezu-san."

"Other than that," Aizawa began again. "We checked the City Hall, and you were right. There's no one here with a Quirk that has to do with dimensional traveling."

They deflated.

"But," he added. "That was only one City Hall. There are plenty more throughout Japan. We'll have to search through each of them. Just leave that part to us, please. As for the investigation of the laboratory you were taken too... Well, it's been completely swiped clean. The investigation is still underway though. For now, we're labeling it as a 'kidnapping' case so nobody would ask questions. The identity of the 'victims' are also classified."

"Thank you for your generosity," Kakashi murmured. "Is there anything we can do?"

"No, and frankly, I'd feel better if you kept your heads low." He replied. "The scientists aren't a threat anymoreβ€”I don't know what value you were to them, but they only considered you three as prototypes and one of you was even sent here on accident. That, and they probably saw Uchiha-san's face on television after the attack happened and when the press came to UA. I doubt they'd make a move against someone so closely tied to us. The only thing we have to worry about is people finding out about your true origins."

They all nodded in understanding.

"In the meanwhile, the investigation will continue," Tsukauchi concluded.

"I have something to add," Nezu chimed. He locked eyes with Sakura. "Uchiha-san, after I heard about your actions in the USJ I became even more impressed with you. How do you feel about joining UA's hero course?"

She furrowed her brows in confusion. "Um, didn't Aizawa-san just say to keep our heads low...?"

"Yes, but that's only in order to hide your true origins. Your abilities are very versatile and powerful, perfect for hero workβ€”no need to hide those. Plus, there is a chance you might not ever return home... It's better to prepare for your future here." Nezu offered.

The air turned cold at his last words.

"Nezu...!" Aizawa hissed, but the principal continued to smile pleasantly.

"I'm sorry but I'll have to decline," Sakura said in barely held-back icy tone. "I don't plan on becoming a hero, nor do I plan on staying here."

Nezu nodded in understanding. "I see. That's unfortunate."

But Sakura had the feeling that this wouldn't be the last she heard of this offer.

After a few more exchanged words, it was finally time for the guests to leave. As Aizawa rose from his seat, he paused.

"Hatake," he said suddenly.

"Hmm?" The masked man hummed.

"Since I'll be busy looking through Quirk registrations tomorrow, I'll be absent from class. I need someone to substitute. You're a teacher, right?" He really didn't want to ask this, but he had seen the way Sakura fought before. It was impressive, it was professional, it was everything a hero needed to be. And Kakashi had taught her that, or at least, for a brief time period.

Kakashi quirked a brow, knowing where this was going. "Yes, and?"

"Do you mind substituting for a few days?" He asked. "Next month, the UA Sports Festival will be held, and I need them to be prepared for it. I was planning on holding sparring matches for the kids."

There was a glint in his eyes as he smiled innocently. "Sure." He agreed.

"What's the UA Sports Festival?" Sakura couldn't help but ask.

"It's a world-wide competition the school holds annually. Students from every grade and course have the opportunity to showcase their abilities in different rounds in order to be scouted by Pro Heroes and support agencies," Nezu explained.

"It's also when students get the most injured," Recovery Girl chimed in.

"Sounds like Chunin Exams," Obito said bitterly, remembering when he got his ass kicked by Might Guy. In his defense, he wasn't even paying attention! Which... wasn't exactly a good thing.

Tsukauchi sounded intrigued. "Oh? You guys did something similar?"

Sakura nodded, looking bothered. "Sort of..."

"How did that go?" He asked politely.

"I think it went great," Kakashi said brightly. "Only a few ten or so kids were killed. Oh and the Sand Village invaded us which led to the death of our Third leader, but it turned out to be the ploy of a pedophile snake-bastard all along. Brings back good memories, right Sakura-chan? Gaara-kun?"

I shouldn't have asked, Tsukauchi thought faintly, while the other three guests looked to be sickened by the news.

Sakura stared at him while Gaara turned away guiltily.

Obito snorted.

Kakashi regarded him mockingly. "I don't see what you're laughing about, Obito. Didn't you get your ass whooped in the first second of your match?"

"O-oi, shut up, Bakashi! You couldn't even beat me when you had two other people helping!" Obito barked.

"That doesn't even have anything to do with the chunin exams," Kakashi deadpanned.

"Fuck you," he spat.

"No, fuck you."

"Stop fighting!" Sakura snapped, and both men quieted down. She then turned to her four guests with an apologetic smile, like a mother being embarrassed by her quarreling kids. "Sorry about them."

"I-it's fine," Tsukauchi stammered, still reeling from the facts thrown at him about the chunin exams. "Ah, Uchiha-san? There's no killing allowed in the Sports Festival."

She nodded, looking relieved. "Oh, that's good to hear. What about maiming?"

W-what?

"There's no maiming either," Aizawa said tiredly. "Your homeroom teacher will tell you all about it tomorrow. Thank you for letting us take up your time, we'll be taking our leave now. Hatake, I'll be sending you details about substituting my class."

Said man saluted him cheerfully. "Understood, hero-san."

Aizawa just grunted in reply. Though he briefly wondered if he was making a mistake asking Kakashi to substitute for his class...Β

─────‒~β‰πŸŒΈβ‰~‒─────

The next morning, Sakura unfortunately had to go to school. So she freshened up, donned on her stupid uniform, and trudged down the stairs with heavy steps. A nice smell wafted into her nose and she approached the dining room. She perked up upon seeing what was set on the table. A bowl of steamed rise, miso soup, grilled salmon, potato salad, and even a cream-crab croquette!Β

Who made all this? She marveled. Definitely not Gaara, since he had zero culinary skills. Maybe Kakashi?Β

A tall figure stepped out of the kitchen, wearing a pink, floral patterned apron. Obito lit up upon seeing her. "Oh, morning, Sakura-chan! Wait, you don't mind if I call you that do you? It just feels weird calling you by my surname so..."Β

She shook her head, still a daze as she stared at all the good looking food. It was on par with Kakashi's. "No it's fine, go ahead. You... you made all this food?"Β

"Yep," he grinned. "Come on, take a seat. Bakashi told me you got school today."Β

"Yeah and so does he," she stated, shooting the aforementioned man a stern look. "You can't go there late, Kakashi-sensei. This school seems strict."Β

He waved a hand at her. "Maa, maa, Sakura-chan, it'll be fine. There's no need to worry about me, I have experience in teaching remember?"Β

She gave him a flat stare. "You let us run off to be taught by a pedophile, a pervert, and a drunken gambler."Β

He winced.Β

Obito snickered into his soup.Β

"What exactly are you planning on teaching those kids...?" Gaara couldn't help but ask. That and a part of him was slightly concerned for those children's well-being.

Kakashi smiled innocently. "Don't worry about it."Β

Sakura sighed in defeat. "Just try to be there on time..." Though she highly doubt he would.Β

"Yeah Bakashi," Obito agreed. "Being late is my thing, stop stealing it. Though it does make me wonder what else you've stolen from me..."Β

Kakashi snorted. "You've stolen from me too."Β

"Oh yeah, what?" He challenged.Β

"My time, my patience, my sanity, my money from all the times I bought you flowers for your empty grave."Β

"Aww, you got me flowers, Bakashi? That's so sweet, what kind?" He teased.Β

"A bouquet of geraniums, foxgloves, meadowsweets, yellow carnations, and orange lilies. All of which translate to 'fuck you'." Kakashi said sweetly. He easily caught the cream-crab croquette that had been thrown at him with his chopsticks before they disappeared in a flash, already in his mouth.Β

Sakura's jaw dropped. "Hold on, you actually understand flower language? I thought that was taught in kunoichi classes only!"Β

Kakashi pinked slightly and sunk in his seat a little when Obito burst into laughter. "I learned it from some books..."

"Icha Icha?" Gaara sighed knowingly.Β

Obito froze. "You actually read that shit Bakashi?! It's basically porn!"

"It's not shit, it's erotic literature," Kakashi snapped.Β

"He's been reading the Icha Icha series for longer than I've known him." Sakura supplied.

Obito's jaw dropped as he started looking at him in a whole new light. "The prodigious Sharingan no Kakashi... reads porn to children."Β

"I never read it to children!"Β

"There was that one time," Sakura pointed out. "You read an excerpt to us and nearly fainted from the embarrassment."Β

"That was only because you guys thought there was secret code in my books..."Β

"Out of everyone, I never thought that you of all people would end up becoming a pervert," Obito breathed out, still shocked.Β

"Will you all stop bullying me?"Β

They finally decided to give the poor man as they resumed to their delicious meal. Sakura finished firstβ€”being the student and allβ€”and gathered her bag.Β

"You're planning on being late, aren't you?" She deadpanned at the grey haired male.Β

"Do you even have to ask?" He smiled behind his mask.Β

She rolled her eyes. Poor kids. She bid her goodbyes to the men who called out 'bye!' back before leaving. She hurried down the street once she left the gates of her house, wanting to avoid being seen by Fuyumi. Sometimes she'd invite the younger girl to 'carpool' (which she learned had something to do with sharing a car) with her and Shouto. While it was a kind gesture, she wasn't up to being in the same space with Shouto.Β

He accused her of being adopted... and of being the supposed 'secret lovechild' of some really famous hero. How do you go back to a sense of normalcy after a conversation like that?Β

She got to school with still some time to spare. The second she stepped through the doors of her homeroom, she could immediately tell that something was wrong.Β

Everyone was staring at her.Β

She tried not to sweat under their gazes as she quietly went to her seat. Once she sat down, someone called out to her.

"Hey," one of her classmatesβ€”Agoyamato Tstutsutakaβ€”said in a neutral voice. "You were with the hero kids when the USJ attack happened right? You made it on the news."Β

"Oh... kay..." Where were they going with this?Β

Beside her on her left, Togeike asked, "So how was it?"Β

"Um, how was the attack...?"Β

The black haired girl nodded.Β

Sakura really had no idea what was going on. Why did it feel like they were ganging in on her all of a sudden? "It was okay, I guess."Β

Somewhere in the back, she heard someone mutter, "Psh, Golden Girl's just trying to act tough."Β

"She gets one day of fame and it all goes to her head."Β

"She acts like she's one of the hero kids now 'cause of what happened at USJ."Β

Sakura's eye nearly twitched, but she forced herself to act normal. This reminded her all too much of Ami's previous bullying back in her Academy days. This time, she wouldn't cry about it. This time, she'd actually fight back.Β

"It sounds to me that you're jealous," she said in a carefully calm voice. "If you're all so desperate to be like those hero kids you hate so much, then perhaps you should find some villains to fight. You'll probably get that fame you want so badly. Whether you end up dead or alive."Β

People were whispering and glaring at her now.Β

She didn't care. She had dealt with their bitter hatred to the hero course kids for a week already and she wasn't having it anymore.Β

"You shouldn't be envious of a bunch of students being attacked. It was a traumatizing ordeal for those kids." She recalled how shaken some of the kids were and how battered Midoriya was at the end of it. "People fighting for their lives isn't something to be jealous of."Β

Just then the door slid open and in entered Chibana. The whispers stopped and some of the glares disappeared.Β

"Morning kids," Chibana greeted them brightly, oblivious to the tension. "Oh, Uchiha-san, you're back too! That's a relief, I was really worried when I heard about the villain attack. You're fine now, I take it?"Β

"I'm okay, sensei," she replied. She could still feel the growing animosity of a certain student.Β

Shinsou had yet to stop glaring at her.Β

Chibana went on to talk about the Sports Festival Aizawa had already informed her about. But there was one thing he neglected to mention:Β

"Now I understand most of you kids ended up in the general education class unwillingly... but if you do good enough at the Sports Festival, you can move up to one of the hero course classes!" Chibana announced, giving Sakura a wink at the end. It was no shock to anyone that out of everyone in the class, Sakura was most likely to end up earning that spot.Β

Too bad she didn't want it.Β

Excited and hopeful murmurs arose from the whole class. Sakura wasn't interested it that though, she had already made her statement against becoming a hero. Her only goal was to go home to her daughter.Β

"And that's not all, you guys~" Chibana sang as the murmurs lowered down. "As you all know, the school will host the famous UA After Party where the First Place Winner of the Sports Festival will be shown off as the star!"Β

"As if any of us could make first place..." She heard someone grumble under their breath.Β

"It's a formal event and all students and staff are invited! Make sure you're prepared for it because it's live and everyone around the world will be watching!"Β

That was a terrifying thought to Sakura. Would the whole world seriously be watching? Did these people have no sense of privacy? It was like they were trying to show off junior celebrities rather than junior heroes.Β

A few hours later, during the end of their PE period, Sakura finally decided to confront Shinsou. For some odd reason, he seemed to really have it out for her and that was before everyone started hating her.Β

He was alone at the water fountains, so she decided to approach him. "Alright, what gives?"

He ignored her.Β

"Do not ignore me Shinsou-san," she said sternly, her mom-mode kicking in. "Ever since the beginning of the school year you've been giving me nasty looks. I sit next to you, it's very hard to ignore. I've done nothing wrong, so spit it out."Β

He straightened up and wiped his mouth, giving her a side-glare. "Oh is the prissy princess upset because she's not getting the star treatment?"Β

She rose a brow, unimpressed. "Star treatment?"Β

"You're the Golden Girl and you know it," he sneered. "Perfect scores, perfect Quirk, perfect everything. Hell, you're even working closely to a Pro Hero! And you joined the hero kids in their field trip!"

"You're jealous just like everyone else." She muttered, sighing to herself. She remembered all the times she would grow jealous of other girls just because she thought they were trying to take away 'Sasuke-kun'. She nearly cringed at the memory, but this situation was reminding her of it.Β

"Look," she began.Β

He rolled his eyes and started to turn away. "I'm not gonnaβ€”"

"β€”I don't want to be a hero."Β

"β€”listen toβ€”wait, what?" He blinked.Β

"I don't want to be a hero." She repeated. "I think this is all just a misunderstanding. I want to be a doctor, not a hero. The only reason I'm working as Recovery Girl's assistant was because she saw me fall down the stairs and heal myself, so she offered me a chance to gain medical experience. It'd make my resume look good. As for why I went with the 1-A kids, Recovery Girl had an important operation she needed to do at the hospital and I was the only one to act as her substitute for the class. And as for my grades, I'm just smart."Β

His mouth opened and closed, resembling a fish out of water.Β

"I didn't even bother signing up for the practical part of the exam," she added. "My only goal was to get into the gen ed course."Β

He was still gaping at her.Β

"Anyways, I'm gonna head to the locker rooms. I'll see you later."Β

Hopefully he'd get that into his head, she thought. Now I wonder how the 1-A kids are doing...Β

─────‒~β‰πŸŒΈβ‰~‒─────

The students of 1-A weren't doing so good. Three hours had passed and their homeroom had yet to arrive. They told one other teacher about it, but they mentioned something about having a substitute instead who had booked the whole day with the class.Β

But the substitute had yet to show up.Β

"Can't we leave already?" Kaminari whined, leaning back against his chair.Β

"I second that! It's been three hours! Let's just go!" Mina exclaimed. "My butt hurts just from sitting here!"Β

"We cannot leave until the teacher arrives!" Iida shouted for the millionth time. Some of them had made attempts to walk out, but Iida always ran over to block the door, shouting something about the rules. "But worry not, my classmates, I will give the substitute a thorough lecture about late attendance!"Β

"That's if the sub even bothers to get here..." Jiro muttered under her breath.Β

"I think they heard about what happened to us and decided not to come 'cause they were scared that we might have another villain attack!" Hagakure theorized.Β

"Whatever the reason, it's still unprofessional to not even leave a notice about it..." Momo sighed.

"Urgh... I'm hungry..." Mineta grumbled. "Oi, Iida! Can't I at least go to the vending machine to grab a snack or something!"Β

"Of course not! You can't leave the classroom without a hall pass given to you by a teacher! Next time, please bring your own snacks!"Β

"You tyrant...!" He hissed under his breath, clutching his growling stomach.Β

"GODDAMMIT!" Bakugou suddenly boomed. "It's nearly lunch time already! I'm gonna kill that fucking sub!"Β

Midoriya flinched. "Ka-Kacchan maybeβ€”"

"β€”SHUT THE FUCK UP, DEKU!"Β

The greenette flinched. "S-sorry!"Β

"He should be saying sorry to you, Deku-kun!" Uraraka came to her friend's aid.Β

"Oi, maybe you should calm down a littleβ€”" Kirishima tried to say.Β

"β€”YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP TOO, SHITTY HAIR!"Β

"You guys are way too noisy," Kaminari mumbled. "I'm gonna take a nap." He propped his feet up on the deskβ€”ignoring Iida's scandalous criesβ€”and leaned his head back to relax. Just before his eyes could droop close, he spotted a man staring back at him from an opened ceiling vent.Β

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He shrieked, tumbling onto the floor.Β

"Kaminari?!"Β

"Dude, what happened?!"Β

Kaminari pointed upwards. "THERE'S SOMEONE THERE!"Β

They looked up and screamed at the face that waved at them. The figure started to crawl out from the opened vent and... was walking on the ceiling?! Everyone screamed even louder. Why was no one coming to their rescue?!Β

"Maa, maa, can you kids shut up?" He asked, before dropping from the ceiling. He landed gracefully in front of them.Β

"A-a-are you a villain?" Uraraka asked fearfully.Β

"Nope, just your substitute." He replied cheerfully.Β

"YOU'RE THE SUB?!"Β

He picked at his ear. "Geez, you guys sure have some lungs on you..."

Bakugou slammed his searing palms on his desk. "WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN, ASSHOLE?!"Β

He hummed thoughtfully at the slowly burning wood. "You know, I think that counts as property damage."Β

"FUCK OFF!"Β

He clicked his tongue. "Watch your language, Bakagou."Β

"Bakaβ€”?!" Kirishima had to clamp a hand over his mouth to stifle his laughter.Β

"EAT SHIT AND DIE!"Β

"Where have you been, sensei?! Why are you late?! This tardiness is very irresponsible and unprofessional for UAβ€”" Iida began to rant.Β

The man raised a hand. "Please stop talking. As for where I've been... Well, I was never late. I was actually in the ceiling the whole time. I was waiting for one of you to notice but this was quite a let down. If anyone's to blame, it's all of you for not sensing me earlier."Β

Everyone gawked at him.Β

He smiled innocently. "But don't worry, we'll work on your detection skills later. In the meanwhile, get suited up or whatever. Your homeroom teacher, Aizawa, wants me to prep you guys for the UA Sports Festival."Β

"The UA Sports Festival?!"Β

He waved a hand dismissively. "Yeah, yeah, that. Big event. Pro heroes are gonna be watching. Do good so you get an internship. Something along those lines. Now get suited up and meet me on the field outside."Β

And with that, he disappeared in a puff of smoke.Β

"...What...?" Midoriya said, articulating everyone's thoughts.Β

It took the kids at least fifteen minutes to get ready and meet him outside. Kakashi nearly laughed at some of their get-ups, but managed to put on a blank face.Β

Though he did notice one other thing... His neighbor, Shouto, kept looking back and forth between him and one of the other students, Shoji. Kakashi wondered what that was about.Β

"Ah, good, you're all here. Nowβ€”" He stopped when one of the students rose their hands. "Yes?"Β

"Can we know you're name, sir?" Iida asked.Β

"Just call me Kakashi-sensei," he said. "Now, Aizawa-san wanted me to have you guys spar, so that's what I'm gonna do. But instead of having you guys spar each other, I'll have you do something harder: you're all going to spar me at the same time."Β

"W-what?" Jiro asked.

"You're all going to fight me, isn't that great?" He asked with a smile.Β

Bakugou scoffed. "Fine by me. You're fucking dead old man!"Β

"O-oi, I'm not that old..." He mumbled.Β

"Sensei, is that really a good idea?" Midoriya asked anxiously. "I-it'll be twenty against one."Β

"I can handle it," he assured. "Make sure to come at me with the intent to kill, just like you would with any other villain."Β

"Um, Kakashi-sensei," Momo timidly raised a hand. "We're not allowed to kill villains."Β

Kakashi looked genuinely surprised to hear that. "Eh? Then what do you do?"Β

"We take them to jail...?"Β

"Huh? Wouldn't it just be easier to kill them?"Β

Midoriya gulped, suddenly feeling very worried. "S-sir, killing is illegal."Β

"Seriously?" Again, he looked genuinely shocked. "The laws here are just ridiculous..." He muttered.Β

Who the heck is this guy? A majority of the class wondered. His questions were genuinely concerning.

Bakugou was grinning like a maniac, his palms already shooting off miniature explosions from the excitement. He couldn't wait to beat this substitute's ass. Fucking jackass making him wait over three hours for this bullshit...! He'd make him pay!Β

"I don't know about this, sensei..." Midoriya spoke up once again and Bakugou could feel his eye twitch in annoyance. "Wouldn't it be better if weβ€”"

"β€”Fucking hell, Deku, shut up!" He barked impatiently. "If this old geezer wants to get his ass whooped then who gives a shit?!"

"Bu-but Kacchanβ€”"Β

"β€”I'll kill you, Deku!"Β

As Kakashi listened to the two argue (or in Midoriya's case, feebly protest), he was reminded more and more of Naruto and Sasuke. Which... was not good.Β

He cleared his throat to catch their attention. "Maa, maa, you guys scarily remind me of these other brats that I know... Listen up you two, if one of you gets a cursed love bite from a pedophile which causes you to defect from the heroes in order to gain more power to kill a certain man, and then after killing him you decide that you want to destroy a whole country, I'm going to drag you back and skin you alive."

A very awkward silence followed.Β

Kakashi clapped his hands. "Anyways, you'll all start... Now."Β

Needless to say, it was a complete slaughter of innocent children.

Bakugou and Shouto acted first. The former lunging at him while the latter trying to trap him in ice. Kakashi easily kicked Bakugou to the side while jumping away from the ice. That was when Midoriya tried to land a hit on him but the second his fist made contact, Kakashi was gone and Kirishima was there instead.Β

"Whaβ€”" Midoriya's eyes widened but it was too late. The hit landed and now Kirishima was out and Midoriya's arm was completely broken.Β

The fight proceeded like that. With the students doing their all while Kakashi simply evaded them or hit them back with brutal kicks. He didn't even use his hands, as one was holding a book while the other was shoved in his pocket.Β

Mineta, who stayed far away from the battle, immediately recognized the cover of the book. His eyes popped out as he exclaimed, "HOLY SHIT, THE TEACHER'S READING PORNβ€”BLARGHSH!" His face was pressed into the ground a second later, a foot pressing against the back of his head.Β

"It's erotic literature," Kakashi corrected.Β

Five minutes in, and the match was over.Β

"Oh my," he looked down at all the battered and broken students that littered the ground, some conscious and some not. "Looks like I really have to snap you kids into shape. Don't worry, we'll do this again after lunch."Β

Some of the conscious kids whimpered fearfully.Β

─────‒~β‰πŸŒΈβ‰~‒─────

"You're a sadist." Sakura said to him as they ate lunch together. "Do you know how long it took me to heal those kids? Well, actually it wasn't that long, but still! These kids are basically like normal civilians who are still in training. You shouldn't be so brutal with them."Β

Kakashi shrugged uncaringly as he broke his chopsticks. "To be fair, they're entering a career where they have to fight. Getting a little bruised up is part of the job description."Β

She was unimpressed. "Why did you accept the substituting position anyways?"Β

"I figured I owed it to Aizawa after all he's doing for us. That, and I was curious to what these kids were like. They remind me of genin, but... slower. And older. And more fragile... Look, I honestly wasn't expecting that kid to get a concussion, okay?"Β

Her glare didn't falter. "Just be easier on the kids next time, alright? By the way... why are you eating at the cafeteria? You know there's a teacher's lounge right?"Β

He shrugged.Β

"Everyone's staring at you." She stated.Β

Everyone really was staring at himβ€”or them, actually, since he chose to sit with her. The 1-A kids had decided to congregate themselves at the far back of the cafeteria, most of them staring fearfully (Bakugou was glaring) at Kakashi who continued to ignore them. Some of them were obviously curious as to why he was sitting with her too.

They suddenly gasped when Shouto stood up and started to approach the pair. Some of the kids tried to persuade him to come back, but he didn't listen.Β

He stood beside Sakura's seated form as he stared at Kakashi. "Kakashi," he said. "I have something to ask you."

Sakura tensed up. This was the exact same tone he used before he started accusing her of the most ridiculous things.Β

Kakashi looked up from his food. "What is it, Todoroki-kun?" He asked pleasantly, completely unaware of what was about to transpire.Β

"Is Shoji your secret love child?"Β

"..."

"..."

"He looks just like you," Shouto continued. "And he wears a mask."Β

"Todoroki-kun, I think I may have hit you too hard on the head..."

β€” author's noteΒ β€”

I got the idea of the UA After Party from Cute Trash so thank you for letting me borrow that idea! Honestly, I just wanted an excuse to get Sakura all dolled up for the boys lol

Kakashi spying on the kids through the ceiling was inspired by this:

You can't blame Shouto for thinking that Kakashi's got a secret lovechild. He and Shoji are way too alike... The only difference is the amount of arms Shoji has lol. Shouto probably thinks Kakashi and some multi-armed woman frick fracked XD
