Chapter Seven:
"Holy Fucking Shit. I'm A Fucking Lesbian."

"Come on, Lani. It's a carnival, go with us!" Maddy pleaded, looking at her in the mirror.

"Bitch, why the fuck you think I'm getting ready?" Leilani laughed, her eyes trailing down Maddy's body. She scolded herself and forced herself to lock eyes with Maddy.

She knew it was wrong. To look at Maddy so intimately without her permission. It made an overwhelming wave of guilt flood her body. Leilani cleared her throat, leaning forward as she carefully pressed the purple jewels to her face.

"Oh, right." Maddy nodded, "You plannin' on gettin' any dick tonight?"

Leilani paused, a shiver running down her spine. "Uh.. we'll see."

"Girl, you fine as fuck." Maddy spun Leilani around. Leilani's heart skipped a beat as Maddy leaned her head close to her face. "All the boys are gonna be drooling all over themselves, like fuckin' dogs."

Leilani laughed nervously, pulling herself from Maddy's grasp. "If you say so."

"I can't believe that ugly piece of shit said that." Leilani scoffed, rolling her eyes and shaking her head. Cassie nodded in agreement, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Nate's not ugly." Maddy crossed her arms. Leilani huffed, slipping her arms around Cassie and Maddy.

"I so wish I was fucking high." Leilani let her head fall as she dragged her feet.

Cassie stopped suddenly, "We should do Molly!"

Leilani's eyes lit up as she grinned and pointed to where she had previously seen Ashtray. "I think I know where to get some."

Maddy and Cassie shared a look, mischief clear in both girls eyes. Leilani pulled the girls along with her.

"Welcome  to pretzelmania, can I take your order?"

"Aw, don't recognize me under all this shitty lighting?" Leilani teased, readjusting her shorts.

"Lani! What's up with you?" Ashtray greeted with a grin as he leaned forward.

"Feelin' fan-fucking-shitty. You?"

"Oh.. Well, what can I help you ladies with? A pretzel?"

"We don't eat carbs." Maddy scoffed, putting her hands on her hips.

Leilani rolled her eyes, "Speak for yourself, and not what he meant."

"We'll take three." Cassie smiled, digging through her purse for money.

Ashtray nodded, signaling to Fez behind him. "That'll be sixty."

Leilani raised her hand to stop Cassie from paying before handing Ashtray the money. He furrowed his eyebrows, looking down at the bill. "This is a hundred. Maybe we shouldn't give you the.. pretzel."

"Bitch, I can see. I was gonna say keep the change, but if you don't want it-"

"No, no, I'll take it." Ashtray said quickly, turning around and taking the pretzels from Fez's hand before handing them to the girls.

"That's what I thought." Leilani smirked, sliding her phones into her back pocket.

"So, you think Nate's cheating on you?" Cassie asked, looking away from Leilani and towards Maddy.

Maddy shrugged, leading them away from the booth. "I don't know. He's just been acting super weird lately."

"Because he's a bitch." Leilani nodded, tossing her untouched pretzel into the trashcan. "I'd kick his ass."

Cassie and Maddy ignored her comments, sharing a look with each other. "Have you gone through his phone?"

Maddy gave her a look, "What?"

"I've never not looked through someone's phone." Cassie tossed her pretzel into the trashcan.

"Same." Leilani highfived Cassie. "Same."

"You bitches are my soulmates." Leilani giggled, her cheeks reddening as she hid the molly in her shorts.

"So, what's up with you and McKay? Thought ya'll was like, in love or something?" Maddy kept her friends close, not wanting to lose them in the crowd.

"Nate asked McKay if we were in a relationship and he said we were just chillin'." Cassie said bitterly, mimicking his voice. 

"For real?" Maddy gasped, "You're serious?"

"For real."

"Men suck, I fucking hate men." Leilani scoffed, squeezing her eyes shut as she took the Molly.

"I second that."

"Honestly, fuck all of them."

"For real."

"Okay, so if I tell you something, you swear on your fucking life you won't say a word."

"Duh." Leilani focused on the sky above her.

"I went through Nate's phone, and it was weird.."

"Honestly? Fuck that entire family."

Leilani nodded in agreement, trailing her hands over her body as she stared at herself in the mirror. "For real."

"Right now, I'm looking at a thousand versions of myself, and not only do I look good, I feel good."

"You look hot as fuck, Maddy." Leilani trailed her eyes over her body, biting her lip.

"Yeah! So if they have something to say, they can just say it to my fucking face, right?" Maddy spun around, staring at Leilani and Cassie.

"Or you can just say it to their fucking face."

"Right?"

Leilani tilted her head, raising her hand and pushing it up against the mirror.

"I feel like this is a turning point."

"Right!" Maddy agreed, completely unaware of the dazed look Leilani had.

"We should just pick the hottest, most confident, bad bitch version of ourselves and be that for the rest of the school year."

"Holy fucking shit." Leilani gasped suddenly, stumbling back from the mirror.

Maddy jumped, turning to her. "What?"

"Holy fucking shit!" Leilani raked her hands through her hair as she fell to the ground.

"Girl, what? Are you okay?"

"Holy fucking shit. I'm a fucking lesbian."

"What?" Maddy gasped, dropping her hands from her waist and turning to her.

"I'm a lesbian and I'm in love with Lexi.."

"Oh, shit."
