CHAPTER TWO

It was a peaceful (for once) morning on Ivo, and everyone seemed happy (finally).

"We're still going at these sand castles? How many more are we going to make," asks Aries. Aries and Mercy had been making sand castles for a while—they were on sandcastle four.

"Well I wanted a sandcastle city, but I guess four's okay too," Mercy says.

"Thank god, my arms were getting tired."

"Drink another energy drink."

"HEHEEHE- I AM QUEEN OF ENERGY DRINKS," yelled Aries, making Mercy laugh.

Rosabelle was still sleeping, so she wasn't amused at Aries' sudden yell. She yelled, "SHUT THE HELL UP!"

"Oh righhttt. I forgot people were still sleeping," Aries says.

"The sky says it's 3am, I'm surprised you forgot."

"I'm surprised you actually woke up when I told you to."

"God, why are they so loud," Jay complained.

"They're kids. They're just trying to have fun on Survivor," Andra says, "Plus. Would you rather hear them laughing and talking or a screaming match? Laughing? Exactly. Just leave them alone and go to sleep."

"Can they not do it at 3am?"

Taylor was—somehow—still sleeping and completely and totally unbothered. He clearly didn't wanna get out of his good dreams or something like that.

And Aries decided to jump in the water.

"Aries, what-"

"Hm?"

"You're wearing clothes."

"And? What, do you want the entire team, especially you to see me just strip down at 3am? That's more scary than any nightmare."

Mercy snorts, and eventually jumps in too. Now they are both in the water and they are fully clothed.

"And they're in the water. Could this night get any worse?"

"There goes any sleep I hoped for."

Team Lune was all asleep. The tribal council made them sad and disappointed in their team—themselves, even. It wasn't fun. They were all really, really sad they lost that challenge.

But finally, the sun rose, and they were all up.

"Good morning," yawned Reina, "Looks like we survived the night."

"Somehow," Hailie says, "We basically got killed at tribal."

"Well then this game is gonna be long and miserable. Every single team before us has gone to a tribal council," said Aliana.

But Lilian wasn't with the others. No—she got so scared after last night that at 3am, she woke and instead of going back to sleep, she decided to look for idols.

"Come on.. where is it- Oh. Oh my god."

Right in front of her, on a tree, was something that looked like an idol. When she jumped up and grabbed it, she quickly unraveled it.

It was an immunity idol.

She couldn't tell anyone she had this! How'd she get so lucky?! Most people on Survivor came into the forests and came out with nothing. No idols, no advantages, nothing. But here she was, with an idol!

She'd be safe for any elimination she wanted to be.

Excited, Lilian held onto the idol in her hands, hugged it, and then put it in her pocket. Nobody had to know, right?

Turns out, Sahara just was having the time of their l i v e s on the island, just vibing and having fun.

"WOOO-"

"We will be the best team- Someone from our team will win!!"

"WOOOO!!"

It's now around 7am at team Ivo. Aries is still at full energy and climbing in trees and falling out of them. Mercy is curled up on the beach, asleep.

Rosabelle is alone at the other end of the island—she really didn't want others there. Jay had tried to follow but got pushed into a tree.

Everyone is tense. Nobody knows what will happen at the next challenge and it's got them nervous, almost in a chokehold.

Well, except for Mercy and Aries.

Sahara was playing Simon Says on the beach.

"Simon says, commit a felony," Kee says.

"Does it count if I act out a murder," asks Zachary.

"ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY-"

So now they're all acting out murder and laughing.

Lily was panicking. She'd made a fake idol. She still had the real one, and the anxiety of having it made her want to throw up.

"Let's try to win this time," Aliana says.

"Maybe even come first," Lily added hopefully.

"Yeah," Edan says, "That would lowkey be nice."

"HIGH-KEY-"

"Okay, sh, guys. We can't jinx the shit, otherwise we'll have to see Summer's face at Tribal again."

"Lune. Time to go to Reward."

And so it began.

They were now all on the way to the Reward challenge and wondering what it could possibly could be. Lune just hoped they'd get their flint back, they were fireless for a day and had to huddle around each other. Aliana and Reina ended up fighting because of that.

Who would've known that people who were getting along so well would have issues with a misunderstanding?

Ivo was having a lot of fun—if Ivo was only Aries and Mercy. Rosabelle almost pushed Mercy off the boat but Aries slapped her before she could. They got into a screaming match after that.

"That was entirely uncalled for, even for me," Aries says.

"Well then stop being annoying assholes!"

They went on and on for a while and Mercy almost did just jump off the boat to end the battling right there. She wanted a new team. She hated fights, more than most people know.

"Are you okay," asks Andra. She'd noticed Mercy seemed off.

"Yeah. I'm fine," Mercy said in a dismissive tone.

The tension was only building up now. It wasn't slowing down.

Sahara was still partying, now playing Never Have I Ever on the boat to get to know each other. They were the type of team to really care about a social relationship.

Eventually, everyone got to the island after at least an hour, and most people rushed to get off the boat. They wanted their reward.. and they wanted it now!

"This is just a simple relay race. A shorter challenge, because today is quite busy and the main challenge is huge; but there are several obstacles in this relay race you have to cross through before you can finish and pass the baton on. First, I will ask you to make single file lines. You can talk about the order, if you want."

Ivo didn't talk. They didn't ever talk. Aries was in the front, Rosabelle behind her (she'd get too impatient if she was in the back), Taylor behind her, then Andra, then Mercedes, then finally, Jay.

Sahara had a very nicely formulated plan, with Kee in the front, since she had the most energy to waste, followed by Penelope, Zuko, Floressa, Zachary, and then Salices.

Lune had a decently worked plan. Edan, being tall and sturdy enough to complete most challenges, was in the front, Reina behind him, Aliana behind fae, then Lily, then Hailie.

"But first—sit outs. Who are you going to sit out of this challenge, Sahara and Ivo?"

With discussion, Floressa stuck her hand up. That was the only way to avoid those .. questionable looks that had been happening on the island!

No discussion required, Mercy stuck her hand up.

"Mercy? Why," Aries asks.

"Makes no sense," Rosabelle agrees.

"Whatever. She's slow anyway."

"Faster than you, Jay!"

"I'm sick of the motherfucking team is all," says Mercy.

"Alright. Sit-outs to the bench, and now I will explain the challenge."

Mercy and Floressa walked back, both giving small waves to each other.

"There is a tall tower you have to climb, and untie three keys. Once you untie the keys, go back to the start. Your people each have to untie three keys. Once everyone has untied their keys, they will then do another relay to the lockbox to the right, they must take one key and attempt to unlock it. If it doesn't unlock, back again. Then, once the box unlocks, you will solve a fish puzzle. First team to complete it wins, second gets a reward. Wanna see what you're playing for?" Summer asked, using the same quote from her cousin. (And that's why Summer's the host... 👀)

"Yes," the seventeen people collectively say, cheering and jumping.

"Fishing gear," Summer says, smiling, showing it off. Together were two piles, one clearly bigger, but the other still having quite a bit.

"Oh my god," yelled Penelope, but then quickly covered her mouth.

"OH MY GOD-" yelled Zachary even louder.

"Oh my god." said Aliana expectantly.

"Oh. My. God," yelped Mercy from the sideline.

"Sandwich," said Aries, who lived to break the pattern.

"Alright, playing for reward," Summer says, shaping the others up, "Survivors ready.. GO!!"

And so the Survivors were off, Edan having a wide lead considering she was considerably taller than the other front runners. However, Kee still had way too much adrenaline and didn't have near as wide of a gap as Aries and Edan did.

"You go, Kee," the entire Sahara team cheered, well.. Zuko was picking grass to braid it into homes for bugs with Zachary, but they were still cheering and getting it.

"Slow it, Edan, you're running into the key central," Reina warns, and luckily, it works, much to Aliana's both pleasure and dissatisfaction.

"Go Ivo," Mercy yells, desperately, being in the only team that wasn't cheering.

"Shut the fuck up," says Rosabelle.

"Let's cool it," Taylor warns, "Otherwise we don't get to take a nap."

"NO NAPS?!" yelled someone from another team.

"No naps."

"Why would you do that to them-" says Andra sarcastically, laughing.

Edan had got his first key, Kee was unraveling it, and Aries just got there.

"YES, LET'S GO SAHARA-" yells Floressa, mainly relieved her team actually had a chance to get fishing gear and go for food.

Mere seconds pass and Edan finishes the keys and passes the baton to Reina!

"Don't give in to the pressure to sprint. We're ahead," were Edan's only words.

Next, Kee finishes and passes the baton to Penelope, who immediately drops it! As she struggles to get it back off the ground, Aries passes the baton to Rosabelle, who sprinted.

"Shit," yells Penelope, getting up, baton in hand.

"Run!!"

A miracle passes in Sahara's standing—Penelope is running considerably faster than Reina and Rosabelle. Penelope beats both to the first key—and immediately begins to make quick work of the unraveling.

"Yes, now you can slow it," says Floressa, not realizing that the Ivo sit-out next to her watched as they only got deeper and deeper into last place.

Everyone begins to focus on the lockbox now, as the race seemingly goes faster with their other frontrunners in the back spots, and the fact that only five people had to do the race.

The final runner, Hailie, from Lune, finally passed Salices from Sahara—but Salices did manage to still keep a steady distance in front of Jay.

Finally, Lune opens every key and attempts to open the lockbox. It is Edan first again, seems they are keeping the same order.

Then, Sahara opens theirs and Salices runs to the lockbox. A smarter decision as Salices is closer to the lockbox, however he does not get the correct key in the box and has to go back.

"Why'd you go and take the.. um, keys, and then just place them? That wasn't our plan," asks Zachary, "Not that I care, I'm here for chaos, but like-"

"I don't give a flying fuck about the plan and it was faster. See, look. We're ahead of Lune AND Ivo."

It turns out Ivo had the same idea as Sahara and manages to almost get the thing unlocked.

"What the fuck? Is it the right key or not?"

"This shit's half unlocked!"

"What?-"

"I got it," yells Aliana from Lune. They were apparently quite fast runners.

"Yes! Good job Ali!"

"I'll puzzle," says Reina, for some odd reason fae felt the need to impress faer team.

"Okay. Hailie, can you join," asks Aliana.

"Fine," Hailie says, running to the puzzle.

"This piece needs to be tilted but they're heavy. Work with me," says Reina.

"Which way?"

"Left."

As Lune works hard to get the piece to face the correct way, Sahara and Ivo unlock the box at the same time, but two very different duos are on the puzzle. For Sahara—Salices, Zuko. For Ivo—Rosabelle, Taylor.

"My nose is bleeding," notes Zachary, "You know, I'd care more about that. But I kinda don't-"

"Uh- no-" says Penelope, "That's like, probably a safety hazard. Can't you just switch with Flossie?"

"That's not how that works."

"I don't know," she admits, "But like, that's a lot of blood. And it's not like I've got a Kleenex on me or anything. Um- Kee?"

"Yeah?"

"Zachary's got like, a biohazard on his face. You think we can do anything about that?"

"Uhhhh- I would say use the leaves but with your luck it would probably be poison ivy.. Could we ask Summer for something after we complete the challenge?"

"Oh that's smart! Why didn't I think of that? Sure, I'll ask," Penelope says.

"I kinda look like a vampire-" Zachary says.

"What the fuck do you MEAN your finger 'feels broken'," yells Salices to Zuko, immediately shifting the Saharans' priorities.

"It feels broken! It's the damn pieces!"

"It's fine. Help me lift it."

"What do you mean it's fine?!"

"It's fine. No way a puzzle piece fucking broke your finger. Plus, I don't think you want to get injury boot, do you?"

Silence.

"Done," Aliana yells, seeing that her team had finished.

"Is it correct? For the fishing gear.. Lune has.."

The entirety of Lune stopped breathing at the same time.

"SOLVED THE PUZZLE!!"

Joy overtook Lune, pure joy. After a horrible start to the game, Lune had finally won a challenge. Was it the team, or was it the person they voted holding them back?

"Nope, nope, that's wrong," says Rosabelle disapprovingly.

"But it looks like a fish," says Taylor.

"Yeah, a fish's ass. Move it."

"I doubt we have much time-"

"What are you implying?"

"Sahara just finished the puzzle."

And indeed, they had, their puzzle a mirror of Lune's fish puzzle.

"Sahara has completed the puzzle," Summer announces.

Flossie turns and runs to her team, and silence overtakes Ivo as their disappointed teammate returns.

"That wasn't our best," says Andra, cutting through the silence with a knife, "But I know we can do this. It was just a minor setback. We'll win today's challenge."

"Lune! Your large pack of fishing gear will await your return at your campsite, you may go home," says Summer, smiling approvingly. She basked in their pure joy.

Then, she turned to Sahara, smiles on their faces equal, "Sahara—smaller prize; still a win! A win is a win, is that what you kids say? You may return home."

Finally, Ivo stood together in complete silence. Divided they were, divided they felt, yet they stood as one.

"Ivo—no reward, that's okay. You may return home."

Everyone took the boats back to their islands, awaiting for the drama to go down.

There was an attempt to have a confessional free episode—it failed, the fans were outraged. Starting now, fans can confess.

LUNE
EDAN FOWLER

"I'm not looking to stay for a long time," Edan began, his daunting voice clearly shifting the mood, "Going for the finale, I believe, is worthless, though if I do, well I'll be happy. But I want to make it to merge. Aiden wasn't fond of me, and I suspect he wasn't alone in his dislike. But he won't be alone spectating the show, either."

———

"What are you doing," asks Aliana, who had been looking for idols but was interrupted by Reina.

"Looking for snakes."

"Why? Aren't idols more important to you?"

"Lily found one."

"What?!"

"Yeah. She thought nobody was awake, but my sleep schedule is in the trenches. I was looking for snakes when she found it," Reina says, "There probably isn't another idol."

"Or, if it is, it's a Beware."

"What if she has the Beware?"

"I'm not dumb. Lily would be so fucking stressed if she had a Beware."

"Think about it," shrugged Reina, walking away, the opposite of what Aliana wanted fae to do.

And Lily did have the Beware advantage.

But how did Reina know that?

IVO
ANDRA NORELLS

"Well I'm pissed. Because now why the actual hell is nobody talking? This is so strange. Just start a conversation," says Andra, "I'm mad, frankly. But everyone's mad, so I'm trying my best to hide it. That's kind of how it works here."

———

"I'm tired," Aries complains.

"You took a nap, that's not normal. How much water have you had," asks Andra with a sigh. She didn't really care, but having a teammate down could seriously hurt their chances later on.

"What the fuck's water?"

"That answers my question. 'Cedes," yells Andra.

"Who the fuck's 'Cedes?"

"Um.. Mercedes?"

"HER FULL NAME IS MERCEDES??"

"Um.. yea," Mercy says, appearing from what seemed like thin air, "Whatcha need from me?"

"Can you go get her water? I've got to summon the others so we can actually talk as a group. The silence is beginning to get on my nerves.."

"Okay. It's not going to work, but I appreciate your effort, Andra."

"Thank you."

And with that, just like Mercy had predicted, the conversation faded into death on Ivo Island.

SAHARA
ZUKO DAMON

"So I'm basking in the fact that our team is basically partying 24/7. We don't talk about votes because we really don't feel the need to? We've been doing good, we've been safe for everything. I'm only slightly mad at Salices that they wouldn't take my um- wood burn seriously. Like. How rude."

———

"Wait. Okay so I completely forgot about asking Summer, but remember those weaved baskets full of water that we used the night it rained," asked Penelope to Zachary, who now had dried blood all over his face.

"Yes.."

"We are going to pour that on you. Think of it like- um.. an expensive skincare treatment?"

"How the fuck is that going to help," Salices asks, "I'm so confused."

"Um, to get it off his face. It looks like he murdered someone using with his nose," says Floressa observantly.

"Oh. Yeah. It does."

"Hey, when I said "Simon Says commit a felony", I seriously didn't expect any of you to take it seriously," Kee says.

Laughing overtook the Sahara island before they were taken to the real challenge, along with the other two teams.

Finally, they stepped onto the island soil.

The challenge was interesting. Almost all of it was in the water, and the first part seems to have nothing. Just pure swimming.

"Okay! So. First. Sit outs. I suggest you be strategic—this challenge is kind of intense."

Zachary immediately stuck up his hand, "Guys, I can't swim. After two minutes I just like.. give up, dude."

"You know what, mood, I can respect that," nods Zuko.

"Jay will stick out," says Taylor.

"Says who," says Jay.

"You can't swim, genius," Aries says, "I don't want to carry you across the entirety of the Pacific."

"I guess you make a good point."

"Thank you. That is all I needed to hear."

"Alright. Jay, Zachary, take a seat on the bench. For the rest of you, I will explain the challenge."

"First, a swim race. You will swim with a partner—and you'll pick a solo swimmer, as there is five of you competing for each team—together across the somewhat short distance, but it is a race against the other team to get all your folks on the other side so do be fast! Then, you will each walk on the balance beam one by one. If you fall off—start over. It seems simple, but the balance beam periodically submerges itself in water, making it very simple. Take this part slow, is my advice. The final part is you have to take the blocks at the end of the platform and place them into the square slots, making a path that leads you to the island. These blocks are heavy and slippery."

"Fun."

"Alright. Ivo, Sahara, give me your team idols back."

Both teams dramatically part with it.

"Survivors ready—GO!"

And they're off—it is Taylor doing the solo swimming for Ivo, Hailie for Lune, and Salices for Sahara.

Taylor, being tall, finishes first, but Mercy is zoned out and doesn't recognize her cue to get in the water.

"Mercy- MERCY GO," Aries yells, pushing her into the water. But she pushed a little too hard, and she slapped the water and hit it like it was cement.

Mercy turns around and flips Aries off—blur THAT out of the camera edit, will you, directors?—before catching up with Rosabelle. Not hard to do for Mercy—Rosabelle is quite small, easily the smallest on their little team, and Mercy's by far the tallest woman there.

Finally, the two get there, and yeah, they were totally behind the other duos, but granted, that fall was not weak.

"That fall looked painful," says Rosabelle, "Good? You?"

"Yes. Fine."

"Cool."

Lune was finished first, and it is Lily first on the beam—makes sense, her ability to shrink herself down is actually working to be very favorable in this part of the challenge.

Then it's Sahara finishing, and Kee, considering they are tiny, is on the beam now.

Finally, Ivo finishes, and it's Aries on the beam. Mercy's left arm is all pink, it is definitely burning her. Rosabelle and Taylor are in the water, making sure that if someone falls, they don't like.. die.

Aries crosses, and soon after, Mercy's nimble body crosses the path with ease.

Lune is trying to help Reina across, it seems every step may be a misstep. Balance is not easy, and it ends up working out that Edan helps fae across, because now they're both across!

"Aight- do you want me to just carry you-" says Penelope, watching Zuko preparing to step and almost fall.

"Yes. Please."

"And they can't penalize me, you did make it across," says Penelope, now on the rope, "Get on my back."

"Thank youuu-"

"Ah shit," Andra breathes, falling off Ivo's beam. Luckily, she was caught by Taylor and Rosabelle's team efforts.

"My bad," Andra says, going back to the start. She went back, slower this time, and crossed it, causing Rosabelle and Taylor to swim back to the shore and go.

Meanwhile, Lune had all crossed the balance beam and began to set the boxes out and make the path. They seem to work in a factory motion, proving well for the team. The boxes are assembled in no time and even the last one to cross the bridge crosses it in plenty of time before the other teams get there.

"Congratulations, Lune! You did it! You get fire and safety tonight!"

"WE WON!!"

"HELL YEAH LUNE ALL DAY-"

Lune, first again. Maybe this team did have a chance of coming back together.

Sahara gets there soon after. They were slower than Lune, but nobody had fallen, so they were able to get away with second.

"Sahara. Congrats! Still safe!"

Sahara whoops and cheers, laughing and smiling.

Nobody's laughing and smiling on Ivo. It's quite the opposite. They either look pissed or on the verge of tears. No.. actually all of them just look pissed.

"Here's our flint," says Rosabelle, handing it to Summer before she had to ask, causing pure silence for everyone. Lune was there before. Sahara could be next. It wasn't a joking matter—and nobody was laughing.

"Well, yeah. I'm sorry, Ivo; but you guys are going to tribal council tonight. Everyone head back to camp, discuss or celebrate."

And so everyone went off the island, meeting their boats—and their sit outs, if you were Ivo and Sahara—on the shore before they took off.

IVO
MERCY AURELLE

"I'm not voting Andra tonight," Mercy's voice said, piercing the silence of the wind and the breeze, the light beating down on her, the waves lightly grazing her ankles, "She may have not done the gymnastics the best, but I've been needing to get Jay off for a while. He's had a problem for.. I can't even remember. Me and Aries, and Aries has a backbone, so she's fine. Me, on the other hand? Not so much. I'm prepared to go to the extremes to do some serious convincing. But one thing's for sure—if I can't get him out, I'll at least let him know he isn't safe on Ivo Island. Not as long as I'm here."

———

IVO
GRAYSON TAYLOR

"What would a master strategist do," Taylor ponders, sitting on the beach. He's clearly been thinking about this for a while, and he breathes before continuing, "is the one question leading my vote tonight. She fell on the beam, and there's others stronger and smarter than her. It was because of her that we are going to Council—though I'd argue Aries played a part with The Push, and Mercy with the zoning out. Everyone played a part, but hers was the most major. I think the world knows who I'm voting for. The question is: does my team? And will they join me?"

———

Nobody talks at once. No, two people would wander off and let the rest of their team watch.

Plenty of diverse duos crossed and talked. Some agreed, and some had heated arguments and debates—Aries and Jay weren't ever going to get along.

But the one thing that hadn't happened was the meeting between Aries and Mercy, and Andra was confused about it.

So she stops Aries.

"Why haven't you talked to Mercy? I know you're voting for Jay, you two have hated and hated each other since you stepped on this island," she begins, "and you two are the only two that haven't talked votes. From what I know, Taylor claims he's voting Jay, I know Jay's voting me, and Rosabelle's probably going with Jay, since of all of us, she hates Jay the least. So unless you want me to take the boot, you've gotta be the one to swing her."

"I've tried. She's probably still pissy about me pushing her into the ocean. You saw her flip me off, right?"

"I did. It was kinda funny," says Rosabelle, simply just walking by.

"Oh, totally," Andra says, "I'm pretty sure even Jay could see 'Cedes flip you the bird. She's mad at you, yes. But you need to suck it up and not let her leave. Grab her arm—not the one that hurts, otherwise she'll be voting YOU—and tell her exactly what our plan is."

"Got it," said Aries, grumbling all about how she hated being ordered around. But this .. Buddy, of hers, not yet a friend due to the amount of distrust all around on the island, had been acting peculiar since that push, and she knew she had to talk to her.

To her dismay, when she was walking to her, Jay and Taylor were trying to explain the play they were going to do.

Andra.

Andra.

Don't forget to vote Andra.

Well, Aries wasn't about to let that happen—she hated Jay, and she normally was too busy and too "forcefully compliant" to laws to act on her hate. Not here.

"Come here," says Aries, dragging Mercy by her right arm.

"Hey- what the fuck- Um, take me back- I was talking."

"Yeah? Well you need to talk to me. I'm voting Jay. I don't know what the hell your deal is with me, but suck it up, if you don't want Andra to get the boot."

"Ew. Yuck. You don't get to talk to me that way. My vote is mine."

By the looks of it, this wasn't going to end well. At least, that's what Aries knew. But what she didn't know was Mercy was going to vote Jay no matter what.

"We're simply the best-" says Zachary, over on Sahara Beach. They were trying to come up with lyrics for a theme song for Sahara.

"No- that just reminds me of Miraculous Ladybug-" says Penelope.

"Oh. Yeah. Definitely not," says Zuko, scratching it off in his brain with a laugh, "Not that anything's wrong with the show, I just hate the French."

"Aren't you like 20% French," asks Kee, "I don't know. I think that was your excuse for not eating the worm earlier. Something about it being taboo against the religion of baguettes?"

"Was that really me who said that," gasps Zuko, "Oh shit. Time to reevaluate my life again."

"Um. We'll slice the other team's throats," says Salices suggestively.

"No, we don't want this to get blurred because the audience keeps on getting younger each year," says Floressa, "How about 'We just can't lose?' Does that work?"

"Hell yeah!"

"I love this team!"

"Fire is a wonderful thing," says Aliana, smiling brightly after the campfire area the people on Lune had set up had finally lit up with a blaze.

"Doesn't fire represent your life here? It kinda feels like we came back from the dead," observes Hailie.

"Wait, yeah, it totally does," nods Lily.

"Reina," says Aliana, "Quit looking for snakes."

"Let the kid do what fae wants," says Edan, "if that's collect snakes, be fine with it. I'm pretty sure these snakes aren't harmful considering they haven't stolen any of the fish."

"Oh yeah! Our fish survived the day," says Hailie, really excited to eat dinner.

"Finally," Reina says. Hunger overtook everyone here.

Now, the Ivo six walked to the tribal council area in the forest, where the fear began. Words were shoved down their throats. The plan was still split; and it was time to vote and execute it.

"Good evening. Since this is your first tribal, take your torch and light it with fire," Summer instructs, and then after the people do it, she nods and continues, "In this game, fire represents your life. If your fire gets snuffed, your life in this game is gone. Speaking of fire, you guys losing was quite the flame today! How do you feel about it, Jay?"

"There were definitely things we could've done to prevent it," Jay admits, answering the question, "Some things were bound to happen, like me sitting out, and others could've been prevented. It's just the way things go in this game."

"Exactly right. But how do you feel about the difference between threats and who's at the bottom of your tribe skills wise? Is there a difference in your ability to vote them off? Who do you prioritize more right now, Taylor,"

"I don't worry about the competition until merge and until these people genuinely become dangerous," Taylor explains, "For now, I want to better our team so I don't come back here until merge, and so I am more focused on voting the bottom player."

"Interesting how opinions vary, and that's why this show is so fascinating," says Summer, really taking in Taylor's take on it, "Aries, on a scale of one to ten, how safe do you feel today and how sure are you that you won't get voted?"

"I think an 8.5," says Aries, "because as of right now from the people I've heard talking, I'm safe. But they could always be lying, and there's always that uncertainty, that tiny possibility that could send me straight back home. And I don't want to go home yet. I'm not allowed to go crazy at home."

"And that is why nobody wants to leave, and why tribal is so hard. And with that, it is time to vote! Andra, you're up."

"Aries."

"Jay."

"Mercy."

"Rosabelle."

"Taylor."

Everyone had placed their vote, and the urn of votes was now in Summer's hands.

"I hope you appreciated my alphabetical listing of your names, and also, are there any idols?"

Ivo is silent, even though the island has at least six idols, they're very well hidden.

"Then I will read the votes. First vote.. Andra," Summer reads it out.

"Jay. One vote Jay, one vote Andra."

"Andra. Two votes Andra, one vote Jay."

"Jay. Two votes Jay, two votes Andra."

"Andra. Three votes Andra, two votes Jay."

"And the last vote is.. Jay. Three votes Andra, and three votes Jay. Ladies, gentlemen, and others of Ivo; we have a tie!"

Gasps fill the area. Did anyone lie? How could there possibly be a tie? Rumors immediately filled the air, along with whispers.

"In the event of a tie," says Summer, "I will have a bag of stones, and you both will pick one. There is a 50% chance that you will have the blue stone that sends you home, but do not look until I tell you do. Andra, please pick a stone."

Andra, shaking, walked up and picked a stone.

"Jay, please pick a stone," Summer calls.

Jay walked up and picked a stone. No fear showed, but in reality he was worse off than Andra was.

"3, 2, 1, open your stones," Summer says.

Both of them opened their hands.

Andra had the blue stone.

"Andra, your torch," says Summer, realizing the fact that she had just been rocked out.

Andra walked with her torch, leaving the rest of the team to ponder what the fuck just happened at tribal council, over to Summer.

"Second person evicted from Survivor 62: Andra. The tribe—or um, the rocks—have spoken."

And then the torch got snuffed.

Andra walked out silently, and silence filled the entire council area.

"Ivo, you may head back to camp."

Meanwhile, over on Lune, Lily, thinking she was alone, decided to open her idol that said "Beware". She knew this meant "no vote", but she would rather have no vote, so she opened it.

Inside was a letter.

"Congratulations. You have found a Beware Advantage. Your vote is out of commission until you find the idol that follows. Look for the Snake Tree, where all the snakes come to feed.

Be careful.

Even victory is poison sometimes."

A/N: AND THIS IS SOLE SURVIVOR CHAPTER TWO!! I am *so* sorry for the um.. nearly seven month delay, but long chapters are not for the weak and unfortunately for you guys, I'm horribly weak!

However, Survivor streaming again has at least given me enough creative fuel to continue this story—I would never give up on it, but these chapters are SO LONG!!

I hope you enjoyed the shock and excitement of this chapter, and also—the length! This chapter is nearly a thousand words larger than Chapter One, so you do get something extra.

Also; every confessional with the exception of Edan's was wheel-generated, so I can make it as fair as possible! I decided I wanted to add these since.. well, they're present in real Survivor!

I'm so sorry this chapter got extremely delayed and, if you're American, got posted horribly late, but I hope you enjoyed!

Once again, please tell me if I've misinterpreted your character!

Final Word Count: 5,854
