~Lore~

Long ago, in a world ruled with peace and unity, there lived four distinct kingdoms. The Humans, The Avians, The Centaurs, and The Merfolk. These four races thrived together, and split the world up evenly. The Avians ruled over the sky, The Centaurs and Humans split the land evenly, and The Merfolk controlled the seas. However, this unity would not last for long. After many years, The Humans began to significantly grow in their numbers, and soon their portion of land could no longer support their growing community. Promises of more land, more resources, and more power drove The Human King to loose sight of the unity. One day, The Humans attacked The Centaurs unprovoked, and an all out war began.

The Avians and Merfolk tried their best to stay out of it, but quickly joined into the war when they found out The Centaurs were being slaughtered. However, they were too late. The entire Centaur kingdom had been brutally cut down, not a single Centaur remained. The Merfolk were quick to not only place the blame on The Humans, but also The Avians. They could have acted sooner and could have saved the Centaurs. The Merfolk were restricted to the water, and so it was also the Avians fault that the Centaurs perished. The Avians were furious that they were being blamed for something they didn't do, and thus the three remaining kingdoms continued to fight. The War of Kingdoms lasted for many years, until all three kingdoms cried out for the War to cease.

The Kings and Queens of each Kingdom gathered on the shore one day, with no soldiers to escort them. After many hours spent negotiating, an agreement was finally settled; the three Kingdoms could no longer live in harmony anymore. A treaty was created and signed, and a copy was given to each kingdom to hold the promise true. Hundreds of years passed, and Avians and Merfolk became a fable; a fairy-tale Humans would tell their children. As for the Centaurs? They were forgotten long ago by all three of the remaining kingdoms. However, the Merfolk and Avians are still very much alive.

Today, the three kingdoms still live separately, The Humans only aware of their own Kingdom, and the Avians and Merfolk still held a grudge against eachother. But the tides are beginning to change; The Humans have been polluting the world for decades, and are on the brink of war with eachother. However, this 'World War IV' among humans could end up destroying the world as the three kingdoms know it. The Prince of the Merfolk has come of age to rule and therefore needs a bride, which establishes one question. Will the Merfolk keep their silence and remain hidden? Or is it time for the three kingdoms to be known yet again? The world is adrift, and is in desparate need of an anchor to gain control once again.
