kenzie couldn't wait for this day. she was nominated for song of the year at the grammys!! now that has to be something important.

she was already ready in excitement. she had on a red dress that went down to her knees. a bit casual for the grammys, but she could at least walk.

milo had on a suit with a red jacket, matching with kenzie. "you look great!" milo says with a grin.

kenzie turns towards him and smiles. "you do too, zombie. maybe just fix your bowtie." she teased, fixing his a bit lopsided bowtie.

he chuckled looking at her while she fixed it. she patted it once she was done. "perfect!" she cheerfully said before looking at him again. "can you take a picture of me? please."

milo groans before getting out his phone. kenzie cheered quietly getting into a pose. once she heard the camera sound to signal that the photo was taken, she immediately says "send that to me."

milo and kenzie held hands as they went to find their seats. the grammys were about to start in a few minutes.

kenzie looked for her name, before finally spotting it. she was at a table with gracie, bon iver, and sabrina.

"look who made it!" sabrina announced noticing the two first. gracies head snaps to see kenzie.

gracie grins, immediately hugging kenzie. "you look so beautiful. sit next to me I beg!" she says, holding onto kenzies wrist guiding her to the seat next to her. she ignored milos presence.

"miss abs, so nice to see you." kenzie replys to her best friends greeting teasingly. her head goes to sabrina now. "awh sabi you're nominated for album of the year!"

"i am. and gracie as well. but you're nominated for song of the year like hello???" sabrina said to her friend with a smirk.

before they could see anything else the light went dim, as the only light went to the host. "welcome to the grammys. to kick off the show, let's all welcome billie eilish to the stage shall we?"

kenzies hand went straight to her mouth, as she started moving around her seat excitingly. gracie did it as well. sabrina started laughing at the two.

billie walked out on stage making kenzies eyes widen, slumping down in her seat even more. milo grabbed her hand making her smile.

"hello everyone-" billie started before laughing. "I'm sorry they shouldn't have let me present this award. but uhm- the nominees for song of the year are.." kenzie let go of milos hand to bite on her nails.

"sharpest tool by kenzie taylor, my baby. close to you by gracie abrams. birds of a feather by me! good luck babe by chappell roan. please please please by sabrina carpenter. bar song by shaboozy. It's ok I'm ok by tate mcrae. and finally I can do it with a broken heart by taylor swift."

"now let's see who won, shall we?" billie asked the multiple singer and songwriters in the room. gracie gripped sabrina and kenzies hands.

as billie opened the envelope she quietly said "yes!" into the microphone. "and the winner of song of the year is kenzie taylor with sharpest tool."

kenzie opened her mouth with a gasp coming out. gracie immediately hugged her with a smile. "go up there babes!" she exclaimed over the cheering. kenzie gave milo a peck before heading up to the stage.

billie handed kenzie the grammy. "i didn't plan a speech for this- but I'll just do it from scratch." kenzie says into the microphone with a slight laugh.

"i want to thank my boyfriend, milo. but specifically my friends. they all helped me throughout my career, to get me to this moment today. I-" kenzie says with a smile before stopping and doing what every fangirl would do.

"hi taylor! sorry love her. and I think that's all I want to say.. goodnight!" kenzie walked off the grammy stage with a grin on her face. taylor laughed at her, waving before she walked off.

milo stood there like every proud boyfriend would do. and now that she's won a grammy it made him even prouder.

as kenzie came back to the table, milo hugged her almost immediately. his arms wrapping around her waist, as hers went around his neck.

"I did it." kenzie says with a laugh. milo nodded quickly with a smile.

"you did kenz. you really did." milo says as if he was the happiest boy on this earth.

he was with the love of his life, forever and always.
