sakura hadn't processed anything that had occurred the past few weeks. her mind was set on her wedding day she awaited rapidly approaching. she had put her heart and soul into the planning of the event, and she could only be nervous as to how everything was going to turn out.

she watched as one stylist fixed up her makeup, another flattening out her dress on her body, and another doing touch-ups to her hair. so much was going on all at once, and she was struggling to keep up. and for the first time ever, she wasn't upset about that struggle. this was her special day. she was getting married. it didn't feel real.

"wow, sakura you look great," her manager complemented, staying in the room as she got ready. "thank you, unnie," was all she could reply, the nerves getting the best of her. "hey, don't stress. everything will turn out great. this will be the best day of your life, so don't think too hard, okay?" sakura only nodded.

she heard a knock on the door, hearing a faint "can i come in?" she recognized that voice better than her mothers. yeojin, her maid of honor "yea!" she called back, everyone in the room leaving as soon as the girl entered.

"kkura, you look so good, oh my god!" the younger squealed, grabbing the japanese's hands. they jumped around for a bit, sakura finally letting herself go. "i could say the same about you!" the girl responded after eventually calming down. yeojin rolled her eyes with a smile.

the two best friends talked for a long time. they only separated when yeojin realized there was only twenty-five minutes until the ceremony would begin.

the first five minutes felt like a blur. she stared at the clock, watching people scurry around her to make last-minute changes. everything fell into place once her four bandmates entered. her home away from home.

"hey," she breathed out with a smile. their presence alone was able to ground her. "wow, i can't believe our kkura is already getting married. before yeonjun-hyung's old ass too," beomgyu remarked, a proud smile on his face. she laughed as yeonjun scowled at the boy, "don't bring me into this."

"how do you feel?" soobin asked, interrupting the fight that was about to break out. "i'm so nervous, soob. this is scarier than my monthly evaluation against yeonjun. i really hope everything goes well." hueningkai, her best friend, and taehyun's best man, was the first to comfort her. "it will, don't worry."

"yeah, and you're much calmer than taehyun. he's pacing around the room and the stylists are chasing after him to fix small details, but they can't because he keeps moving. he's really excited and really nervous," yeonjun added, but was met with soobin's elbow in his side. "we weren't supposed to tell her that, you idiot." yeonjun's eyes quickly widened, "oh my god, forget i said that!"

even on the most important yet stressful day of her life, the boys were able to make her laugh. lift at least some of that stress off her shoulders for a moment. let her feel the full happiness that comes with the day.

"sakura, we're proud of you. you know that, right?" beomgyu suddenly questioned. "yeah, i do. thank you guys, really. i love you all," the mood was suddenly sappy. before she knew it, she was trapped in a group hug. not like she minded it after all.

the next thing she knew, the four had left her room and her father had come to walk her down the aisle. she felt her heart beat rapidly in her chest. despite that, her smile just grew wider. she was no longer a fiancΓ©e, she was a wife.

she met taehyun at the front, staring at him with an adorable smile. he smiled widely back. they watched with love as sakura's little cousin walked down the aisle, messily throwing flowers, and as taehyun's nephew proudly walked down the aisle with a ring box in hand.

sakura hadn't paid any attention to the officiant's opening remarks. she was impatiently waiting for the moment that they were going to make it official, though she knew there were many things to go through before they could even get to that part. she realized that was partially her fault. curse her and her thorough wedding planning!

the vows were quickly read, everyone in the crowd cooing at the romantic couple. the next thing she knew, she felt her eyes fill with tears as taehyun took the ring from his nephew, sliding it onto her finger. she smiled, pushing her tears back. she did the same, making sure he felt the love she just did. now it was time for the part she was waiting for. the part where she would officially be a wife.

"i officially pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." with that one sentence, taehyun gripped sakura by her waist, dipping her down as their lips locked in a sweet kiss. she pulled away with a smile larger than life.

just as soon as the wedding began, the recessional started. the newly-weds made their way out of the aisle, having some alone time before the guests joined them in the more fun part of the night.

"hi," taehyun whispered. "hi," she replied. there was so much to say and nothing to say at the same time. "i love you," she declared. "i love you, too," he replied with a love struck smile. they quickly kissed, pulling away to get ready for the latter half of the wedding.

sakura watched as guests left their seats to enter the building where the good stuff was going to happen. a wedding cake stood tall, an expensive bottle of champagne sitting next to it.

the couple had their first dance. despite being watched by many people, it felt quite intimate. as the night continued, sakura still felt like none of it was real. if you asked her where she though she would be five years ago, today, she probably would've answered "dead." yet here she was, very much alive and getting married to the love of her life.

she met taehyun to cut the cake, making sure everyone who wanted got a piece. taehyun popped upon the champagne bottle, letting it spray everywhere. she laughed, extremely content with how the day was turning out. everything was going to plan.

she tossed the bouquet in the air, watching as everyone scrambled to catch it. eunji ended up with it at last, sakura running up to her to give her a congratulatory hug.

as the night continued, the wedding slowly came to an end. she watched as the guests filed out, and before she knew it, she was waiting for her husbandΒ  outside.

they were going to leave for their honeymoon in a few days, and decided to stay in a hotel until then. as taehyun pulled up beside her, she happily entered. she didn't give him time to get out and open her side of the car door like he normally did. she was too happy to care about being a passenger princess, though he would give her that treatment anyway.

he drove with one hand on the wheel, the other on her thigh. she felt the cold metal on his finger roll against her skin, and she felt a blush rise to her cheeks. she was officially his. forever. until death do them apart.

they had gotten a suite, and had been checked in by their manager prior to even arriving. entering the room which took up the unite top floor, sakura gasped. "how much did you pay for this?" she turned to her husband, "none of your business," he teased, his smile reaching his eyes, which sparkled just by looking at her.

"you're lucky you're my husband, otherwise i would have fought you to split that bill," she said with a giggle. husband. she could say, and wouldn't be lying, that taehyun was her husband.

the couple talked through their entire process of getting ready for bed, suddenly feeling the effect's of a very busy day.

as taehyun flopped down on the bed next to sakura, his arm instinctively wrapping around her waist, he couldn't help but smile. he stared at the girl he was once proud of calling his girlfriend. now he could call her his wife.

he turned off the light, trying his best not to move too much so the girl could have it easier falling asleep. "hey," he whispered. "yes?" she responded, taehyun feeling his heart beat faster as she looked up at him with her enchanting doe eyes.

"i love you, mrs.kang." "i love you even more, mr. kang."
