THIRD PERSON

"you sure know how to chill out when we're facing a huge crisis." tsukishima stifles a laugh as he saw how awful aiko looked with all the makeup doodled onto her face, which caused the lady to pout.

"it's not a crisis. the pen's alright. besides, i'm just not good with the damn games you came up with, alright?" she blurts out angrily, wiping every single mark off of her face with makeup remover wipes.

"games i came up with? weren't you the one who suggested to play some games to calm my nerves?" he says, staring intently onto her beautiful face with a faint smile plastered on his face.

"it's your fault for worrying too much over the pen that became easily breakable. you take good care of the pen, so why worry?" asks aiko, clicking her tounge.

"don't know that i used to see you as a potato?" he asks, giggling as he saw how her face changed expressions in a split second.

"oh, yeah? well, i used to see you as a tall container of salt, tsukishima-kun." she retorts.

this response made the blonde male to just stare at her with his eyebrows furrowed, nearly meeting each other.

with a whine, aiko rolled her eyes before diverting her attention away from tsukishima, a faint tint of pink creeping to her cheeks.

"and i see you now as the most caring and loving man alive." she adds hesitantly with sarcasm traced on her tone. however, tsukishima didn't mind and pulled the girl for a tight hug.

"funny that i used to see you as a potato-faced freak who's loud enough to piss me off, but you look cute nowadays." he compliments sincerely, planting a kiss on her forehead before burying his face on the crook of her neck, his calm breath reaching aiko's sensitive skin.

"that doesn't change the fact that you used to see me as a potato." she rolls her eyes once more, ruffling his hair gently as the hug became tighter.

"it's a perfect match, sweetheart. potatoes can be turned to fries, am i correct?" he asks, slightly lifting his head to stare at the beautiful face in front of him.

"that's the first time i heard you call me that, but yeah. why?" she asks back as a response, not understanding what tsukishima wants to imply.

"i'm the salt to your fries. without salt, the fries are incomplete. that applies to the both of us." he explains, causing the female to fall into silence for a few moments before laughing hysterically and loudly.

it's a good thing that tsukishima's relatives aren't there for the night. if they were, they could be put into too much trouble, like running errands for the whole night instead of being lovey-dovey with each other.

"when did you become so cheesy? this is what you're learning from wikihow?" she teases, wriggling her eyebrows up and down with a smirk plastered on her lips, causing the male to blush furiously in different hues of red.

"i-i'm trying, alright!? geez." he shrieks, rolling his eyes before looking away, making the female to giggle before putting up a serious expression.

"kei, don't worry about the pen. it'll be alright, okay?" she asks, now with the widest smile plastered on her face.

with a sigh, tsukishima held up his pinky finger, staring closely onto the latter's beautiful orbs.

"promise?" he asks, making the female laugh.

"never knew you rely on pinky promises nowadays, kei." she teases, nudging onto his shoulder.

"promise me, damn it." he mutters, glaring towards aiko, making her comply and join her pinky finger with his.

"i promise."
