Your alarm woke you up and you rolled out of bed. It had been a few weeks since you'd become the manager for Shiratorizawa' boys volleyball team, and it was harder than you had imagined.

However, you were never under immense pressure and you could ask for help from any of the boys and they'd be at your beck and call. It applied during practice and outside of it. Quite strange, but appreciated nonetheless.

Your therapy sessions changed to early mornings on Saturday so you made it to voluntary practice at 10 am which usually went on until 2pm and then the boys would wrap it up and go out to eat lunch.

You had adapted to this lifestyle of a manger much faster than you'd thought, which was pleasing. This gave you some time to think of how you'd pay back Tendō for blackmailing you. You didn't hate the club, or even dislike it. It was quite the opposite. In the span of a few short weeks, you'd become more attached than you'd expected.

All the more reason for payback on Tendo. You grinned to yourself. He wouldn't even see you coming.

"What are you doing, (l/n)-san?"

The voice caught you off guard and you almost got ketchup all over your clothes. "Just the person I was looking for!"

"You seemed to be quite occupied." Ushijima pointed out.

"I was going to find you to ask for a favour." You shrugged.

"I thought you didn't like asking or help."

"On a normal occasion, I don't. But this won't work out without you." You mumbled. "Please Ushijima!"

"(L/n)-san—"

"I told you to drop the honorifics already." You sighed. "Besides, I'll return the favour whenever you need it."

"Alright, what do you need me to do?"

And that was all you needed to hear.

"Shit!"

That one curse sent you into a fit of giggles outside the boys changing room. "How do you like your present Satori?"

Training was over, and Tendo had only noticed that his trainers had glue in them when he attempted to take off his shoes and they wouldn't come off.

"I have a spare pair of trainers in my locker if you need it." Ushijima interjected.

"Wakatoshi-kun!" Tendo exclaimed in delight and stuck his tongue out at you while passing by, following Ushijima to his locker. He was barefoot since he had to take off his socks to get rid of his glued shoes.

You kept your distance from them but discretely followed, gesturing for the rest of the volleyball team to follow suit. They did so, not as discretely but with some effort at least.

You hid behind a pillar and your face lit up when Tendo's fell apart, his bare feet making contact with cold ketchup in trainers. "Must be the mould since I haven't used these in two years." Ushijima shrugged and you burst out laughing.

"Nice Ushijima! I owe you one." You cackled.

Tendo looked between you and Ushijima. "Wakatoshi-kun?! You helped her?"

You stood up on your tippy toes and slung an arm around Ushijima's shoulder. "Of course he helped me. We're practically best buds."

"(L/n)-san I don't recall any moment when we've been best b—"

"Shush and just go with it." You hissed under your breath and faked a smile for Tendo.

"(F/n)-chan, you look uncomfortable." Tendo pointed out, and he was right. Ushijima was so tall that you slinging an arm around his shoulder made you look like you had a broken back.

"I'm perfectly fine as it is." You insisted. "You're the one with ketchup between your toes."

"Ack! I almost forgot about that." Tendo gasped.

"What—"

"I knew this was coming."

"Wait, What?"

"My nickname guess monster doesn't apply to just volleyball games (f/n)-chan." He laughed. "I knew you'd planned pranks on me, you're really bad at covering your tracks."

"There's no way you knew about these pranks."

"I did. And I also know you've got bottles of water for me to clean my feet, a new pair of socks and spare shoes to wear." Tendo replied.

"...You're annoying." You mumbled and tossed him a bottle of water.
He only laughed while he washed his feet.
"So why'd you pretend to not know?"

"So you'd feel like you got your revenge on me." Tendo answered.

"Now i want to catch you off guard more than anything!" You pouted.

"In your dreams. But if it's of any comfort, I never thought you'd get Wakatoshi-kun to help you. You're getting better at these pranks (f/n)-chan!" You tossed him a bag filled with water bottles and a new pair of shoes.

"Wear these from now on for volleyball training. Your old shoes that I ruined were already at their limit." You said getting up. "I'll see you Monday!"

"(L/n)-san, you're not eating with us?" Semi called.
Oh yes, you'd forgotten that the whole team was still there.

"Not today, no." You smiled apologetically. "I'm too worried Satori might attempt to food poison me. Maybe next week." You lied and waved them off.

Once they had all got their stuff and left, you checked the time. "I'm gonna be late." You cursed under your breath and took off into a sprint using a shortcut to avoid the volleyball team.

"Sorry I'm late!" You called, bursting in through the door of the restaurant and rushing to the staff room to get changed into your work uniform. The manager gave you a look of displeasure but didn't press the matter and you sighed in relief.

"(L/n), there's a bunch of high school boys who just came in, go get their orders." Your manager called about 20 minutes into your shift.

"On it, sir!" You responded and headed to the table you were told. "Good evening gentlemen, what can I get you all tod— What the fuck?" You gaped when you saw your entire volleyball team seated around the table ready to eat.

"(L/n)-san?" They chorused.

"Well if it isn't my favourite bunch of volleyball dorks!" You forced a smile. "What would you guys like to order?"

"Didn't know you worked here." Semi commented.

"I thought you worked at that other—" You threw Tendo a warning look and he managed to fix his sentence. "I guess this place pays better huh? Wow (f/n)-chan what a gold digger."

"Shut it Satori, I'm working to earn money, not mooching off someone." You bickered.

"(L/n)! We have other customers!" Your manager called to your relief.

"I'll get right to it sir!" You replied before turning to the team. "We're pretty busy at this time of the day, could I get your orders real quick?" You asked and they all chose fairly quickly.
"Thank you, your food will be with you shortly." You smiled and left with a bow, tending to other customers.

They all know I work here now. You panicked. And it's got to stop here. They can't know any more about me than they have to.
