It was now Monday, and when you opened up the dark doors into the school you instantly smelt the flower perfume scent of the creaky building. When you got to your locker you noticed that Alex was there with Epiphany. You tensed up slightly but tried to loosen up. She turned around and smiled to you, embracing your body in a hug.
"Hey Scarlett! How was your weekend?" She smiled.
A) "Eh..."
B) "It was good!"

A) She looked at you with a confused expression. Alex was still silently standing behind her.
"Oh, how come "eh"? You know if you're having a bad weekend you can always call on me!" She cheered pulling up her phone. You smiled.
"Thanks, I will." You say and start to open up your locker.
B) "That's great! You know though... if you're ever bored on the weekends you can hit me up, okay?" She said smiling and pointing to her phone. You laughed lightly.
"Okay, I will." You said and started to open up your locker.

"So, how was your weekend?" You ask her as you pull out your binders.
"Oh it was great! I hung out with Alex actually!" She pointed to him and you looked up.
He gave a small wave to you.
"Hi Scarlett." He smiled.
"Hi." You say back.
"We went on a nature walk. There wasn't many people there but there sure were many beautiful animals and pretty birds!" She explained. Wasn't many people there.... You repeated in your head. You observed your friends body, making sure you didn't see any wounds or bites. She was clear from what you could see.
"W-whoa! That sounds so fun!" You exclaim.
"Yeah, next time we'll definitely bring you along!" She smiled and looked up to Alex. You noticed the pure admiration in her eyes when she looked at him. Man... you think to yourself.
"Well, I'll be off to class now, okay!" You say and wave goodbye, making your way to the third floor. When you walked in you saw a few empty desks and choose one that had an empty seat next to it. You wished that Rosetta was here so you could talk to her. Almost as if she heard your silent plea, she walked into the class swiftly with two other people, her friends Serenity and Casper. She said her goodbyes to them and joined the desk next to you.
"Hey." She smiled, fixing her flowy dress.
"Heyyy." You dragged out.
"So what's up?" She asked.
"Nothing much.... Hey, can I ask you a question?" You ask her, looking into her sharp and beautiful eyes.
"Yeah sure." She responded.
"Do Vampires... fall in love?" You ask timidly feeling kinda embarrassed. She smiled at you.
"Yeah we can! Or else how would I be here?" She pointed to herself laughing.
"Oh I guess so. I don't know sorry I asked a dumb question." You apologize.
"No it's cool! I get why you'd be mixed up. Even though we count as dead, we still have feelings. Half-bloods are half human so we feel things that humans can. Full-bloods most of the time have memories of being human, and even if they don't they still feel emotions." She explained twirling her hair with her finger. You thought about Alex.
A) "Then there is hope...!" You exclaim mostly to yourself.
B) "I see..." You say mostly to yourself.

A) She looks at you confused. "Hope for what?" She questions.
B) "What? Are you keeping Vampire data in your mind these days? Connecting the dots?" She questions.

"Oh uh, actually.... Ahahahaha..." You laugh awkwardly and she watches you silently.
"Well it's my friend I told you about... That guy she likes, I just wasn't sure if he could even like her back..." You trail off. The windows in the classroom are open a bit and a burst of wind blows your clothes and hair around. The birds tweeting in the distance.
"Oh, I see..." She says in a soft voice.
"So I guess that he can like her back." You said.
"Yeah, he can and I hope he does. I don't want your friend getting hurt either." She mentions and in that moment you admire her for her pure heart.
"You know, how 'bout I introduce her to you?" You suggest.
"Sure! I like meeting new people." She smiles and turns to face the front of the room when the teacher comes in.
You realize that today is the day when you have a French class. As you wave goodbye to Rosetta you start to nervously make your way to your next subject. You push open the doors and see that about half of the class is already there, including Alex. His messy brown hair and sharp looks appealing in the way a Vampire is supposed to look. Just remember that his looks are his bait for victims... You think to yourself. You go to sit down at your desk a few rows up and you get yourself ready for class. When you were finished you couldn't help but watch Alex a bit. He was sitting in the first row, chatting with a few other boys and a girl here and there. His silver lip stud and schoolboy look popping out to you. Mme. Laurent walked in and suddenly you remembered the vote. After she did attendance and calmed you she started talking.
"Nous allons faire un vote de classe. Levez la main si vous souhaitez participer au concours." (We're going to do a class vote. Raise your hand if you would like to do the contest.) Concours was like competitive speeches in French.

A) Raised your hand.
B) Didn't raise your hand.

She announced the winner and the majority of the class voted to do concours.
A) Yay, I've always wanted to do this...
B) What?! How could everyone want to do this? Darn this school on being so academically inclined! You thought to yourself annoyed.
Mme. Laurent explained how she would like to do it, which was to brainstorm with a partner. You looked around to see everyone forming in pairs, so you decided to just work alone because you weren't so close with this batch of students. You started to think of what you would like to do your speech on when suddenly someone was standing behind you. You quickly looked to see who it was and you were surprised. Alex smiled to you and you forced a smile back.
"Hey, wanna brainstorm together?" He asked. You blinked, unsure of what to say.
"Uh... sure, yeah." You forced out. He sat in the seat next to yours and pulled out his papers, you were shocked to see he already had half a page full of ideas.
"Whoa, you already have some?" You say shocked.
"Oh, yeah." He chuckled.
"I just need to narrow it down now. What about you, got any ideas?" He asked.
"Uhhh." You felt embarrassed as he looked at your empty page.
"Not yet..." You trailed off. As you two worked together you found that he had many great ideas. You couldn't help but wonder if Alex was a full-blood vampire or a half-blood.

It was now lunch time and you found Rosetta, grabbing her hand and pulling her along to the cafeteria. She was excited to meet Epiphany and Epiphany had no idea that she was meeting Rosetta. You saw your younger friend already sitting at a table and you rushed over there, Rosetta following along. She looked up at the two of you and a big smile formed on her lips.
"Hi Scarlett, who's this?" She asked observing Rosetta pleasantly.
"Epiphany, meet Rosetta." You announce.
"Hi!" They both say at the same time.
"Nice to meet you Epiphany." Rosetta smiles at her.
"Nice to meet you Rosetta." Epiphany moves her chair over and you watch the two of them with a big smile.
"Well, come sit down with us." She says gesturing to the chairs. Rosetta does so and you do as well. Lunch is full of laughs and getting to know each other. You're happy that both Rosetta and Epiphany are extroverts.

After you and Epiphany ate, the three of you head out to the schools game room, a grand dark wooded room with many pool and foosball tables along air hockey as well. As you guys are walking in you say, "Hold on I really need the washroom." You say and point out to the halls. Tall pillars are next to you that have vases full of crimson coloured flowers.
"Okay." They say and you leave. As you're walking down the halls you hear two voices talking from the classroom you're about to pass.
"So we can try next time..." You hear and when you pass you see Alex sitting on a desk with someone else across from him.

A) You looked at the girl who accompanied him. Short light brown almost blonde hair that seemed to have blonde whiteish tips and streaks in it. Her outfit is what surprised you though. It had golden armour shoulder pads and waist, silver armour delicately lining her chest. You saw she had long flowy earrings that ended with stars. Both of them turned their heads to look at you, causing you to flinch from the sudden movement and attention on you.
"Scarlett? What's up, need anything?" Alex asked. The girl looked at you a little longer before looking back to Alex.
"No uh... I was just passing by and when I looked in I saw it was you." You ramble.
"Ahaha, I see." He laughed lightly.
"Wanna come in? This is my friend Angelina, she's in grade twelve." He pointed to the lady. She smiled and waved to you.
"Hi." She said. You smiled to her.
"Actually I'm heading somewhere then meeting up with Epiphany." You explain.
"Okay cool, see you later than." He smiled and Angelina gave him a questioning expression. You went on your way hearing inky a little of what they said next.
"She knows w-" The ladies voice faded out. You wondered what they had been talking about.
B) You looked at the girl who accompanied him and had a struck of memories hit you. That girl...! It was the lady who had saved you from Duke. The lady who told you the bizarre and disturbing truth about the school. Her looks as tough yet pretty as they were before. Both her and Alex turned to look at you, and you noticed that the lady looked at you as if she was trying to remember where she knew you from.
"Oh, Scarlett." Alex said. You brought your attention to him and forced on a smile.
"Hey, just walked by and happened to see you." You explain before he jumps to conclusions that you're a creep.
"I see, well, care to join us? This is my friend Angelina, from grade twelve." He says gesturing his hand to her, showing her off.
"Hey." You wave and smile.
"Hey, how has your time here at Hemo Academy been?" She asks peacefully but her expression makes you feel certain that she is referencing your one shared memory together.
"Ohh, it's been pretty interesting," You say choosing your words wisely.
"Actually though I have to get going. Epiphany's waiting for me." You say the last part more to Alex. Angelina looks at Alex quickly with a confused expression. He nods to you and replies with, "Oh okay, tell her I say hi." You nod and head out, hearing only a little bit of what they said next.

"Oh, Scarlett." Alex said. You brought your attention to him and forced on a smile.
"Hey, just walked by and happened to see you." You explain before he jumps to conclusions that you're a creep.
