Isamu POV
"Please! Please! I'm begging you!! Please marry me!!" The yellow haired boy pleaded on his knees. What was happening?

Suddenly a little sparrow flew quickly towards Tanjiro. "Poor bird. He had to deal with him this whole time," I said as the sparrow chirped at Tanjiro.

As the bird kept chirping, I look to the demon slayer. How did he ever survive the final selection? And the young lady is trying to get him off her.

"Okay I understand," Tanjiro nodded as the bird flapped its wings. He understood what the bird said?

"Please marry me!! I'm begging you!!" The boy exclaimed. Suddenly Tanjiro picked him up from his haori. I check up on the young girl to make sure she's fine.

"What do you think you're doing? Is there something wrong with you?" Tanjiro exclaimed firmly as he looked at the now shocked boy. "And stop causing trouble for your sparrow!"

"Your uniforms! I don't recognize the old guy over there but you! You're from the final selection!!" He said as he looked at both of us. Old? Do I really look old?

"I don't know a guy like you! For sure!" Tanjiro replied slightly angrier then before. "What are you talking about? We've met before! Don't you remember? There's something wrong with your memory!!"

"You should go home now," I tell her as Tanjiro nodded at me and let go of the guy. "Okay, I will. Thank you both very much!" She bowed happily.

Suddenly the demon slayer started shouting again. "Hey! You two stay out of this!! That girl was going to marry me!! She's in love with m-" suddenly the girl slapped him.

I slightly back off as we watched her continue smacking him but snap back and grab her. "Hey, calm down!" Tanjiro told her as I held her away from the guy, now screaming even more.

Does this guy do anything else than cry and scream? "Who ever said I loved you? You were all crumbled up on the side of the road! All I did was speak to you!!"

The guy cried even more, "What! You mean you didn't help me out of love because you were worried?!" 

"As if! In fact I already have a fiancé so never in my life! I think you are feeling a lot better now right? Goodbye!" She said firmly as she turned around and stormed off.

"Wait! Come back!" He said as he extended his hand.  "Look just cut it out." Tanjiro said as he looked down on him. "Yeah, she already said she doesn't want to talk to you." I added.

"Why did you guys get in the way? This has nothing to do with you!" The demon slayer said as he looked up at Tanjiro angrily.

"Whats with that look on your faces? Why are you guys staring at me like some creature? Stop that!"

Suddenly he pointed at Tanjiro and then at me as he shouted, "Actually this is both of your faults! You guys made me miss my opportunity on getting married!

"Geez why can't you guys say anything? And why did your faces change even more?" He questioned us.

"Listen! I'm about to die soon! At my next job!" He shouted. What is he trying to say? "The thing is that I'm terribly weak, okay?" There it is.

"I'm not kidding! You guys have to protect me until I get married, okay?" He said as Tanjiro placed his hand on his chest.

"My name is Tanjiro Kamado!" "Uhm my name is Isamu Kasai." I said as I looked at the guy. "Is that right? My apologies!"

He then crawled to Tanjiro as he desperately grabbed him. "I'm Zenitsu Agatsuma! Please save me Tanjiro! And you too Isamu! He shouted as he glanced at me when he said my name.

"What are you talking about saving you? Why did become a demon slayer, Zenitsu? Why are you so shameless?" Tanjiro asked as he grabbed his shoulders.

"That sounds harsh when you put it that way! I was wooed by a woman and I ended up in debt! " So he was in debt? I would've never figured.

"The old geezer who was after me was a cultivator! Every day I had to go through hellish training! It got so bad I wished I was dead!"

"In fact I was hoping I could die during the Final Selection! But I was still lucky enough to survive and I'm still going through hell every day!" Well that got dark very quickly but how did he even survive the Final Selection?

"Aghhhhh I'm so scared! Scared! Scared! Scared!" He shouted as he started moving around. He sure does have a lot of energy.

"I just know a demon will devour me soon! He'll eat my brains out of my ears while I'm still alive! It's too scary!! Please save me!!" He screamed as he started breathing hard and rapidly.

"Are you okay?" Tanjiro kneeled down as he patted Zenitsu. I try to fan him with my hands since his face was really red.

We continue walking down the path to our next mission. It's quiet. Too quiet. "So how are you doing now?" I ask him as Tanjiro glances at us.

"I'm calmer now. But I'm getting hungry." He said as he still had tears on his face. "Don't you have any food on you?" Tanjiro asked.

"Nope." He murmured. If only I brought some fruit from Ayakas little basket. I could've given one to him. Luckily for us, Tanjiro offers an onigiri to Zenitsu as he thanks him.

"Oh did you want half, Isamu?" He asked as he looks at me. "No it's fine. I ate a while back ago." I said as he nodded.

"Aren't you going to eat Tanjiro?" Zenitsu asked. "Well no that was my last one but it's fine!"  Zenitsu stared at him for a while.

He then split the onigiri and handed the other half to Tanjiro. "Here you can have half." Tanjiro smiled as he grabbed it. "Really! Thank you!"

Tanjiro took a bite of his half as Zenitsu continued eating. It looks good.. now I want onigiri.

After a while a crow circled around us, telling us to go to our next mission. Zenitsu started screaming again but after a while we started speeding up to our destination.

"Hey Tanjiro? I don't think I'll make it. Even if I do I'll be too useless to help out." Zenitsu whined as we continued. No response from Tanjiro.

"You got this Zenitsu. You made it this far might as well finish, right?" I told him as he whined some more. As I look up, we notice a house up ahead.

"I smell blood," Tanjiro said as we looked up at the home. "But this scent is something I never smelled before." "You smell something?" Zenitsu looked at him as I tried to sniff something.

I could smell something but it's barely there. Tanjiro must have a strong sense of smell or something. "Well I don't smell anything but I do hear something. Like a sound."

"Sound?" Tanjiro said and gasped. I turn to look at him and notice he sees something. More like someone. I turn to see what he's looking and then we see two kids.

They seem terrified. "Kids? What are they doing here?" Zenitsu says. "What are you kids doing out here?" I asked as Tanjiro started walking towards them.

"You guys want to see something cool?" Tanjiro said as he kneeled down. "Ta da!! It's a tamed sparrow! Isn't he cute?" He smiled as the kids loosen up a bit.

"Could you please tell what are you doing here? Is this your house?" Tanjiro asked as I looked towards the house.

If this is there house what are they doing outside? "No it's not. This...is.. a monsters...house." He managed to stutter.

I turn to look at the kids as they started tearing up. As the kids kept explaining what happened I look at Zenitsu. He seems scared and is covering his ears.

I look at the house once more as Zenitsu talks. "Guys. What's that sound? There's this creepy sound that won't stop. Is it a tsuzumi?"

"A tsuzumi?" I asked as I try to listen. I heard something but it was faint. Suddenly we heard a sound. It got louder.

DUN

Louder.

DUN

And louder.

DUN

DUN

DUN

Suddenly a body flew out. I froze in fear as the persons eyes dilated as they were in the air. My body reacted when they landed on the ground, with a loud noise.

Tanjiro ran to the guy as I stood along Zenitsu in fear. I heard the kids whimper and hugging each other closely.

"Hey it's fine. We're here to protect you." I whispered as I squatted near them. Then the ground started shaking as I glance at the house.

I stand up as Tanjiro asked the kids if that was their brother. "No he's not our brother. He was wearing a persimmon colored kimono." The brother stuttered as he hugged his sister.

I walk up to Tanjiro and we both pray for the man who died a terrible death. We'll kill that demon who caused this. No matter what.

As we were about to leave, Tanjiro told Zenitsu that we should go but he resisted. Suddenly the air got thick.

I looked at Tanjiro and he was making a face I've never seen before, scaring both me and Zenitsu. But that was able to make Zenitsu go with us so that something.

As I look at the doors I turn to see Tanjiro leave his box with the kids as we all enter the house. We look all around the house with little light and lots of pots.

"You'll protect me, right Tanjiro? Isamu?" Zenitsu kept repeating the farther we went in. "I hate to say this but I actually have a broken rib and leg from my past mission. And I haven't healed yet so-"

Zenitsu started yelling as I look at Tanjiro worried. "Are you okay? I don't think you're suited if you have severe injuries. You should get that checked out." I advised him.

As Tanjiro tried to quiet Zenitsu down we heard noise from the entrance. What are the kids doing here? And why didn't they bring that box Tanjiro gave them?

When Tanjiro tried to talk to the kids the house started shaking again. Zenitsu bent down as he knocked Tanjiro over. "Tanjiro-" suddenly Zenitsu also bumped me into the other room across.

"My bad you guys-" and just like that I was in a different room. With each sound of the tsuzumi the room kept changing.

I instantly draw out my sword as I took deep breathes. It's fine. You just lost contact with the only demon slayers in this house of who knows how many demons are here. Everything's fine.

I open the door to the hallway as I look around. Just as I was about to leave, a small demon jumped at me. Lucky for me, I dodged it and sliced it before it could lay a finger on me.

I started exploring the house more as I killed more and more. "Lookie what we have here!" A feminine looking demon with a deformed yet masculine body approached me.

"If I were you I'd give up now and let me kill you now. Or you can suffer as I slowly drain the life out of you!" She laughed as I stood firmly.

I looked at her firmly yet nervous was she stops laughing. "Guess the cat is gonna have some fun!" She whispered as she disappeared.

I gasped as I felt a sensed something behind me. Phoenix Breathing, Third Form: Cycle of Death!
I took a deep breath as I made a large circle of fire around me.

"ARGHHH YOU LITTLE PRICK!!" The demon hissed behind me as I sprinted to the other side. My back felt like it was burning but I need to focus.

She then threw herself as I used my sword to block her attacks and land a few hits on her. She was able to claw at my chest as I stood back.

As I took a deep breath she launched herself at me. I managed to slash at her and take off some limbs.

Her mouth suddenly opens eerily wide and two vine like things came at me. I managed to slash them off as I got irritated.

"This ends now!" I yelled as I gained all my energy. "PHOENIX BREATHING, EIGHT FORM: BURST OF FLAMES!!"

I move my hand faster then I've done and just as she was about to move, I slash her neck and just as quick as my hands moved a burst of flames appeared and a phoenix made of fire showed up and wrapped around her neck.

As she let out a horrendous scream, I step away. She throws her headless body side to side as she dissolves away.

I let out a sigh as pain overcomes me. I touched my back and a large pain went over me. I look at my hands and see blood on them. I never seem to not get hurt on missions.

I walk into a near room as I treat my wounds. I wouldn't risk myself and if I'm in a room they won't get me. But this whole home situation is against me so who knows.

I take off my haori and wrap it tightly across my back and stomach. Then I heard something from the hallway. I draw out my sword as I turn to see a figure.

"You're pretty strong," A low voice said as they walked towards me. I looked around for a way out when I notice he's a human but with a boars head?

"I rarely come around strong people so you'd make a great underling!" He says as he comes closer to me. "Or we can fight to see who's the strongest." Suddenly the door slams wide open.

The boar head guy turns around and lets out a big breath, well at least I think so. I look and see Zenitsu with the little boy.

"ITS A MONSTER!" Zenitsu shouts as the boar head guys runs past us. I turn to Zenitsu as the boy looks at him with a look.

The room suddenly spin around and  we thrown out of the house, landing harshly on the ground. I quickly sit up to check up on the boy. He seemed fine.

"Zenitsu? Zenitsu!" He called out as I turn to look at Zenitsu. He looked like he's knocked out. I relax as a huge wave of pain went over me again.

I laid back down as the boy looked at me concerned. "Are you okay sir?" I look at him as I chuckle. "Yeah I'm fine. Just a little tired."

After a while of calling him, Zenitsu woke up. "Thank goodness." The boy sighed as he relaxed. "Are you okay?" I asked as he scratched his head.

"Yeah. What happened?" He asked. "We were thrown out the second story window after the room spun around." I explained to him as the boy nodded.

"I see. Well we're fine now! Why were you crying?" Zenitsu said as he then looked at his hands covered in blood.

"AHHHH! IM BLEEDING FROM MY HEAD! SO I HIT MY HEAD RIGHT? RIGHT?" He shouted. "Am I going to die? Ugh I feel so dizzy now." He cried as he threw his head back.

"Coming through!!" We all turn to the house as we heard a loud scream. Suddenly the boar heard shut rammed through.

"Found it!" He shouted as he ran towards Tanjiro's box. I tried to stop him as Zenitsu got in front of him. "I won't let you."

As he distracted him, I decided to apprehend him. "Your the strong guy huh? Well time to test it out!!" He laughed as he used all his strength to release himself and threw me to the ground.

He charged at Zenitsu as he tried to get the box but Zenitsu would get back up. "Why are you protecting that thing? As a demon slayer you know what we have to do!!" The boar shouted as he got angry.

"I know! But Tanjiro has a reason. But that doesn't mean I'll let it slide! I'll ask him face to face! But for now, no one touches this box!!" Zenitsu shouted firmly.

He was right. I never knew why he carried that box. It had a a different sense of life. But Tanjiro is honest. Just looking at him you can tell he means no harm.

Suddenly the boar head charged at Zenitsu kicking him and punching him. I step in between them and try to stop his punches. I brought my arm to my face and tried to time them.

After a while I couldn't keep up since my injury felt like it was opening so with a kick the guy knocked me over.

As he continued punching Zenitsu, I look up and see Tanjiro. He looked furious. Just as the boar guy took out his sword, Tanjiro put the kid down and charged at the boar.

Suddenly he punched the guy in the ribs as he.. broke some bones?? How strong was that punch?

"What's wrong with you? Can't you see Zenitsu doesn't want to use his sword because that would be taboo for us demon slayers? You are the lowest of the low!!" Tanjiro shouted.

"Then I guess we'll have to fist fight!!" The boar guy shouted. And with that we have a new problem. After some fighting Tanjiro gave him a strong -very strong- head butt.

To all our surprise he had the face of a beautiful girl. Which confuses me because it's just not normal. I thought he had an even more masculine face but that's that.

"Now sit yourself down you!" Tanjiro shouted as the boar guys head bleeded. "Well let me let you guys know who I am! My name is Inosuke Hashibira! Don't you guys forget!" He shouted.

"What? How do you even spell that?" I asked him. "Spell? I don't read or write! The name was on a loincloth-" suddenly he froze. Then he collapsed and was knocked out.

We all decided to get the people that remained in the house and give them a proper burial. It was the best we could do after what they all went through.

Just as we were halfway done Inosuke woke up and started charging at both me and Zenitsu. Somehow Tanjiro managed to make him do most of the work and I'm not complaining.

After we said our final prayers, we started walking down hill. As we said our goodbyes to the kids we made our way down the path.

"Fight me loser! I'll find your weak point and take you down!" The boar guy shouted as Tanjiro replied, "My names is not loser! Im Tanjiro Kamado!"

"Well then Gonpachiro Kamaboko! I'm gonna take you down! And you too, you old strong man!" He shouted as he pointed at both of us.

"My name is Isamu Kasai." I sighed. Old. "Well then Esaynu Osay! I'll take both of you down!" Inosuke shouted.

"Who even is that?" Tanjiro asked. "Well those are you guys!" Inosuke barked. "That is definitely not u-"

"Could you guys be any louder??" Zenitsu yelled. I look ahead and notice my path. "Hey guys. I think this is where we depart." I told them.

"Huh? So soon?"  Tanjiro asked. "Yeah thats my way back." I replied. "Why don't you join us? You need to get checked up on." Tanjiro said as they looked at me.

After a while of thinking I decided to join them. I did need to get checked. I joined them as we headed to a wisteria manor. This was gonna be a long night with them.

NEW. HAPTER  WHOOOOOOOO!!! I know it's been a while but I had to do all my research and update Isamus breathing technique!!

The reason Isamu gets injured so easily whenever he goes on a mission is because he's clumsy but no one notices it! Not even him!
