No One's POV
It was a windy day as the sun was setting. Two demon slayers were heading to the bustling city. Reports claimed to have wealthy people disappear, from 4-7 people a night.

"So what type of demon do you think is attacking this village?" said one of the demon slayers. He had his usual uniform and shortly trimmed brown hair. He was also quite tall.

"I don't know but we must stay alert at all times," said the other one. He had a white haori over his uniform and long black hair. "Classic Miyako! I don't think I've seen anybody more alert than you!" the other demon slayer said. "Yeah." Miyako mumbled as they continued their path.

Miyako's POV
Recently I've been paired with many missions with Chikaco. It's probably because he recently joined and I have no problem with pairing up with him. He could be really talkative at times. Sometimes he reminds me a lot of Hyuga.

"Hey Miyako? Can I ask you something?" Chikaco asked me as we were about to enter the city. "Sure. What is it?" I told him as I continued looking ahead. "Why did you join the Demon Slayer Corp?"

"Well I joined because of someone." That's not really true but a little white lie. He doesn't need to know anyway. Also I'd rather not talk about it.

"Ah! I see! So you joined because you saw a beautiful girl join, right?" he exclaimed as nudged my arm. "What? No I didn't join beca-"

"I get what you mean! I thought the same when I first met you! Gosh you really confused me!! But it's something about strong women right!! It's the way they can fight also. I also joined because of a beautiful girl, her name was Akira! Gosh she is so strong and beautiful!! She's the girl of my dreams!!"

All I could do was stand there and listen to him. He really is a talkative person. "Well if you want to build a relationship with her, you should talk to her. You'll never know until you try." I told him before he continued talking.

"You're right, Miyako! I shouldn't have gone overboard with that! I'm sorry if I disturbed you."

"It's fine Chikaco." I told him as we entered. "Just don't talk as much now that we are entering. We don't want to get the attention." Before we entered I tapped his shoulder. "Wait. We need to hide our uniforms." Chikaco nodded as we both wrapped our haori to hide our uniform.

We both entered the city as many people were identifying themselves. Hopefully the information the Demon Slayer Corps gave us works.

No One's POV
"Good evening you two." a tall guard asked as he watched both demon slayers stop. "Good evening." they responded as they bowed. "May I ask for your identity?"

"Yes. We are the grandchildren of Mr. Hayashi. We came to visit him." The taller demon slayer stated as he passed them their identification papers. "Mr.Hayashi, huh? Never knew he had grandchildren. Rarely talks about family members." The guard said as he looked at them suspiciously.

"We recently just found out ourselves sir." says the smaller demon slayer. "Mm. Don't believe you, thief!" the guard said as he was about to grab them, other guards joined him. "Wait! Sir! Please let us explain!! We really are the grandchildren of Mr.Hayashi!!" Chikaco said desperately as he stepped back. "Sir! We can talk this out!" Miyako also said as he looked around for a way out.

"Nice try! Maybe you can explain once we get you sent to death!" the guards laughed as he grabbed them both. "And you can make a great slave for causing me trouble. I'll have all the other guards envy me with such beauty." the guard mumbled as he grabbed Miyakos face as he examined it. "Don't. Touch. Me." Miyako mumbled furiously as he was about to grab his sword.

"What's with all the commotion?" a male in his early 40's says as he makes his way through the crowd. "Just the man we needed." the guard whispered under his breath. "Good evening Mr Hayashi. We were just taking these thieves who claim to be your grandchildren. Surely, we all know that you don't have any."

"And you dare do this without asking me?" Mr.Hayashi shouted as he walked towards the guards. "Well w-we all just assumed that you-" the guard stuttered as he released Miyako, gasping for air.

"And this is how we trust you to take care of us? Locking up my grandchildren without asking me? You know very well what the consequences are for causing trouble again."

"Y-yes Mr.Hayashi.." the guard said as he signaled the others to let them go. "Ichiro. Ryuu. Come here by my side." Mr.Hayashi said as he signaled the two demon slayers to come. "Don't ever come near my family again." Mr.Hayahshi said as he walked away.

The guards were left quiet with the other members of the city mumbling and staring. "That was close!" Chikaco sighed as they walked past the busy people. "Thank you Mr.Hayashi." Miyako said as Chikaco nodded in agreement. "It's fine. These guards don't know what we do for them." Mr.Hayashi said as he led them inside his home.

"Eat up. You'll need it for tonight." Mr.Hayashi said as he sat down at the table. "Thank you for the meal." Chikaco and Miyako said as they ate the warm udon.

TIME-SKIP

It's late night as the guards patrol the streets. "Damn kids. They messed up my opportunity. And I could've made good money from that pretty looking one." the guard mumbled as he walked around.

Suddenly, the guard's body was wrapped with a finlike tail. As he tried to yell his mouth was covered with a hand and was taken away. In some other place, a couple who were about to enter their homes were taken as well.

"It's time. The demons are out. Good luck boys." Mr.Hayashi said as he looked out the window. "Yes sir." both demon slayers said as they walked out. "Let's go up. We'll have a better chance of seeing the demons." Miyako said as started leaping up. "Okay." Chikaco whispered as he followed.

Suddenly Chikaco's leg was tugged by a hand. "GAH!!" Chikaco gasped as he swung his sword, injuring it as it let go. "DAMN IT! Just the people we needed." said the figure as they went back down.

"Are you okay?" Miyako asked as Chikaco gasped for air. "Y-yes I'm fine. Let's go after it before they take anymore people away." Chikaco said as they both ran after it. As they followed the sound of the demon, Miyako felt an urge. "Chikaco stop!!"

Just as he did, a snake-like demon rammed into a wall, cursing. "Damn you damn you!! If it weren't for you I wouldn't have hurt myself!!" the demon said as he stared at them with rage in their eyes. Another exact demon appeared saying, "What do we do Bi? Do you want the short hair one or the long hair one?"

As Miyako and Chikaco stood there, the two demons in front of them, Miyako mumbled something. "The hell you were mumb-" one of the demons said as then both demon slayers darted in opposite ways.

"DON'T JUST  STAND THERE HE!! GO GET ONE!!!" said one of them as they started slithering away. "Where did that tall one go? Almost had him!!" the demon said as he started looking around for Chikaco.

Chikaco was hiding in between the shadows of the houses, coming up with a plan. "Okay stay calm! What would have Miyako done? I hope he's doing fine." Chikaco thought as he looked around.

He saw a few rocks by a window of a florist and thought of something. He grabbed a few and carefully threw it to the other side.

"Found you!" the demon snickered as he slithered to the source of sound. Chikaco carefully landed on the ground and prepared for his move. "Thunder Breathing, First form..." he said as he unsheathed his sword. "..Thunderclap and Flash!"

Suddenly, Chikaco was able to decapitate the demon. "GAHH! WHY YOU LITTLE-!!" the demon's head shouted as he tried to kill Chikaco with his still moving body.

"Damn! You're strong for a headless body!" Chikaco mumbled as he tried to keep the demon from hurting him. Slowly the body disintegrated and with that one demon was down. "It's up to you now, Miyako." Chikaco said as he started looking for him.

On the other side of town, Miyako kept running, misleading the demon each time. "I'm getting tired of your games!!" the demon said as he started increasing his speed. "Then let's end this." Miyako said as he stopped.

"Night Breathing,Seventh Form: Meteoric Shower" Just then Miyako made multiple curved slashes layered over one another, creating a vortex of sword slashes. "Shit!" the demon hissed as he tried stopping and protecting himself. Now bleeding, the enraged demon was tired of this.

"COME OUT AND FIGHT!!" he said as he looked around to find him. He gasped as he felt his presence over him. "Night Breathing, Fifth Form: Falling Star!"
Miyako exclaimed as he swings his blade downwards in an arc.

Just like that, the demons were defeated. "Miyako!! Oh thank goodness your okay!!" Chikaco cried as he hugged him. "I'm glad your doing alright-ish. Come on. We have to go see if there's any people in danger."

Miyako started to run as Chikaco followed along. They eventually ran into the people that were taken, the couple already dead.

"Damn this world.." the guard repeated as he coughed out blood. All Miyako and Chikaco did was watch as he let out his last breath, now praying over the dead people.

"Thank you boys. You guys go ahead to your next mission over at the forest, I'll take care of their burials and the authorities." Mr. Hayashi said as he walked over the bodies, as he also prayed.

"Yes sir. Take care." Both slayers said as they made their way to the forest.

TIME-SKIP BECAUSE THE BATTLE TAKES A LITTLE LONG AND THIS CHAPTER IS ALREADY TOO LONG

"Finally, that was the last one!" Chikaco said as panted. "Yeah, they really do put up a fight." Miyako agreed as he looked up to see their crows.

"CAW! MISSION COMPLETE! HEAD BACK AND REST UP!! CAW!" The crows said in unison. "Good job today Miyako! I'll head out so take care!!" Chikaco said as waved his goodbyes. "You too." Miyako said as he started walking away.

Just then he heard a shout, a familiar one. Already tired he headed to the direction of the noise. "Hinokami Kagura! Sunflower Thrust!!"

Miyako then leaped into te sky to help Hyuga with the demon they thought they defeated.  He leaped in the air and used his breathing technique."Night Breathing, Third Form: Setting Dusk!"

"That's the last one." Miyako sighed as he landed. "Well I guess you didn't need my help!" Hyuga chuckled as he looks at the smaller male. "Right,Miyako?"

"Hey Hyuga. I'm sorry you had to deal with that." Miyako apologized as he laid back on a tree. "It's fine! I need to practice a bit my technique! So it's cool!" Hyuga said as he placed his hands on his hips.

"So you want to go get something to eat? I know a place close to where we're about to meet up!" Hyuga asked. "Yeah that sounds good." Miyako smiled as he stood up.

"Yes! Tengo hambre!!" Hyuga exclaimed as he jogged away. "Uh Miyako? You coming?" Hyuga asked as he saw Miyako drag his feet on the ground.

"Yeah. I think I hurt my feet when I landed." Miyako sighed as he tried to walk. "Oh! Here let me help you!"

Suddenly, Miyako was on Hyuga's back, as grabbed his legs. "Hyuga! Let me down!" Miyako exclaimed shocked. "Oh come on! It's not that far! Plus I'll let you down once we start seeing people, okay?"

Miyako stayed quiet and he finally sighed. "I'll take it as a yes!" Hyuga said as he started jogging.  "Whooo!! Vamos!!" Hyuga exclaimed as Miyako smiled.

I hope you like this new chapter!! It took me so long to write but it was so fun!! I had to keep changing my words and ideas but I'm back on track now!!
