(Angst Warning!!)

The next day

Mk knocked on Embry's door, along with Pigsy, Tang, Mei and Sandy. They were holding gifts for Embry. "Think he's still asleep?" Mei asked. 

"Could be. That kid can sleep till the late time and wake at night." Pigsy said.

"Well, let's hope not. It's freezing out here." Mk said, as he saw his breath in the air. 

"WHAT ARE YOU PEASANTS DOING HERE?!" A voice yelled. They turned and saw...the DBK family, holding gifts. "What does it look like? Giving presents to Embry." Mei said. 

"Heh. Looks like we had the same idea." PIF said.

"What did Embry even give you guys?" Mk asked. 

Redson smirked, as he pulled out his locket. "Little lotus gave me this locket." He said.

"Lucky..." Mk muttered. 

"Who's lucky?" A voice said. 

"MONKEY KING?!" Mk yelled. 

Monkey King was on a cloud, right next to them, holding a gift.

"Wow, looks like I'm not the only one either, huh?" He said.

"Not you guys to." A voice said. 

"Okay, just how many people are coming?" Tang asked, as he saw something that made his blood cold.

Spider Queen was on the side on the apartment. Mk screeched and hid behind Mei.

"Just how many gifts did Embry give out?" Mei asked.

"Just enough." A voice said, causing Wukong, to almost fall off his cloud.

"What are you doing here, Macaque?" He hissed. 

Macaque smirked. "What? Can't a guy bring a gift to a friend?" He said, showing a purple gift box.

"Last time you gave him a 'gift', he nearly lost his powers." Wukong growled.

Embry was still asleep, exhausted after yesterday. He woke up to the sound of yelling, coming from outside. 

At the speed of light, he got up, cleaned up and made some food. He quickly brushed his hair and sighed.

He opened the door...to see everyone yelling at one another. He sighed.

'it's way too early for this.' He thought. 

Redson noticed and literally teleported in front of him.

"Morning, little lotus!" He said, hugging Embry.

"Hey! You don't get to hug him!" Mk said. Embry just sighed and waved. Redson broke away and instantly blushed at what Embry was wearing

His whole face was red. "U-U-U-Uh, M-M-M-Merry Christmas!" He said, shoving the gift in Embry's face. Embry chuckled and took it. He gestured them to come inside, as they came in. 

"You know, I've never been to your place, Embry. It's not so bad." Mei said, as they all looked around.

"Not bad, lotus." Redson said. Embry laughed as he went to the kitchen and brought out some tea and snacks.

Everyone took off their coats, scarves, gloves, whatever they had on. 

Embry sat down and stretched a bit.

"Here Embry! I wanted to give you this!" Mk said, handing Embry his gift. Embry opened it and smiled widely. Inside was a crystal heart keychain. Embry gave Mk a hug, causing him to turn red.

"Here's mine! My parents said it would look good on you." Mei said, handing Embry's hers. 

"By the way, thank you for the dress! It was beautiful!" Mei said. Embry nodded and opened the gift.

"Haai!!" Embry said, laughing. "Glad you like it!" Mei said. Tang handed his over.

Embry opened it and covered his mouth. Inside was a framed picture. The picture was little Embry(age 6) holding a flower, smiling with a missing tooth. "AWWW! BABY EMBRY!!" Mei said, blushing. "Ano...." Embry said. "Yeah, I used the frame you got for me. I hope you don't mind." Tang said, rubbing the back of his head. 

Embry laughed and smiled widely. He placed on the table in front of them, promising to hang it up later. Pigsy and Sandy handed their's over. Embry opened Pigsy's and squealed. 

"You always wanted to bake new things so...I got this for ya." He said. Embry hugged him tightly. "Welcome kid." He said. Embry opened Sandy's next, to reveal a kitten keychain. "Merry Christmas, Embry." He said. Embry smiled and laughed a bit.

Embry remembered Redson's gift and opened it. 

Embry put it on and smiled. "Welcome little lotus." Redson said. Iron fan handed hers over.

Embry opened it and gasped. 

"Glad you like it." She said, smiling a bit.

"It's not much, but...here you go." DBK said, handing his over.

Embry opened it and smiled. Inside was a gold bracelet, with tiny spikes on it. 'Guess he wanted to match.' Embry thought, as he smiled. 

Spider Queen handed her's over. "Syntax couldn't come, but he said, he'll hand you your gift later." She said, as Embry opened the gift.

Inside was a butterfly clip, it looked very familiar, and it felt familiar to him. 

"Hope you like it." She said, looking away. Embry laughed and nodded. "Alright, my turn." Wukong said, handing his over. 

Embry opened his and laughed a bit. He lifted it up so everyone could see. 

Macaque froze on seeing that. 'T-That's...' He thought, looking away, breathing fast. "Pretty." Mei said. Embry took a deep breath and played.

Everyone clapped. "I didn't know you could play." Mei said. Embry looked away, blushing. "Embry can play lots of instruments. Ocarina's are one of many he can play. He can play violin, piano, harp, flute...anything." Tang said.

"No kidding." DBK said. 

"Wow." Mei said. Embry scratched the back of his head.

"...Here kid." Macaque said.

Embry took it and opened it.

"Wow...what is it?" Mk asked. Embry looked at it, before tapping it. Wukong's eyes widened. 'H-How'd he...' He thought. Embry eyed it, took a deep breath and played.

"My ears....have been blessed." Mei said, as she dramatically cried. 

"H-How'd you know how to play that?" Wukong asked. Embry just shrugged.

A ringing sound came from Embry's room. "What was that?" Mk asked. Embry just sighed, got up and left to get it. Macaque watched his figure, eyes widening slightly. 'Just...like her.' He thought, as he looked down, tears threatening to fall. "Hey...you okay?" Wukong asked. Macaque quickly wiped his tears away.

"Y-Yeah. I'm fine." He said. 

Wukong frowned. 

"No. No you're not. Ever since Embry and you fought...you've been acting odd. What's going on?" Wukong asked, getting down from his cloud. "Nothing." Macaque hissed. "No! Something is going on, what is it?!" Wukong asked. "It's nothing, okay?!" Macaque yelled.

"Guys, guys. Maybe you shouldn't argue. Embry doesn't like yelling."Mk said, but they ignored it.

"No! Don't give me that! What is going on?! Why is it that every time you look at Embry, you act all shy or like this?!" Wukong yelled.

"You wouldn't understand!" Macaque yelled.

"WHAT WOULDN'T I UNDERSTAND??!! TELL ME!! IS IT BECAUSE HE REMINDS YOU OF FUJI, IS THAT IT?!" Wukong yelled.

A fist collided with his face. Macaque jumped on him. 

"DON'T YOU DARE MENTION HER NAME!! YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND!!" Macaque yelled. 

"OKAY, ENOUGH!!" Mk yelled, as he got in between them.

"STOP IT!! STOP IT, BOTH OF YOU!!" He yelled.

They both panted, glaring at each other.

Wukong had a bloody nose, while Macaque had a scratch on his face.

He fell to his knees, head held low. "You wouldn't get it...me and Fuji...were close, but you...when she died, I was never the same again." He said. "I know. I loved her as much you did, but-" "Not like that! She...she was my mother! She never cared about how I looked! My features, she never cared! She was always there for me, unlike you." Macaque said, tears going down his face.

"You think I didn't try to come find you?! I never could! I went to all the places we went, and I still couldn't find you! Who's fault is that?!" Wukong yelled.

"I WAITED!! I waited for hours, you never showed up! SHE always did! When she died...I never ever wanted to see you again!" Macaque said. 

"You think it's my fault that she died?! I told you years ago, what happened was unintentional! We didn't see it coming, and may I remind you, SHE TRAPPED US IN A DOME THAT WE COULDN'T BREAK!!" Wukong yelled. 

Embry had came back and saw what was going on. He covered his mouth as tears ran down his face. 'I...I shouldn't be hearing this. Please stop...please' He thought.

"THAT DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING!! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE SOMEONE WHO SAW YOU AS A SON FOR THEIR WHOLE LIFE!! SHE WAS MY MOM, THE ONLY ONE WHO SHOWED ME AND GAVE ME LOVE!! SHE TOOK CARE OF ME!" Macaque screamed, tears running down fast.

"SHE TOOK CARE OF ME TO!" Wukong yelled. 

'Stop it!'

Everyone ducked down and covered their ears. Spider queen couldn't take it and left out the window.

Everyone stood up and looked at the shattered glass, then at Embry. 

Embry's ears were pinned down to his head, he was on the floor, crying. "N...S....S-S....St...op..." He cried. Everyone's eyes widened. "St.....op.......Sto.....p..." He sniffled, rocking himself back in forth.

Everyone looked at each other, and decided to leave. "We'll see you later, Embry." mk said, as he hugged Embry. Embry hugged him, but didn't let him go. "Looks like I'll be stuck here." He said.

"Alright, see ya kid." Pigsy said, as they all left. 

Macaque stayed behind for a bit, before going in a shadow portal. 

Mk picked Embry up and took him to his room, but the windows were shattered. Embry snapped his fingers, the glass was fixed, even in the other rooms. 'Wow.' Mk thought. He set Embry down and hugged him, rubbing his head. 

"I'm sorry this happened to you, Embry." He said, kissing his head. Embry sniffled and laid down on Mk's lap. Mk saw a present in the corner of Embry's room. "Em...you have one more gift." He said. Embry saw it and grabbed it. He opened it and smiled. Inside was a pink lotus keychain. 

Embry sniffled, Mk hugged him from behind. Mk knew Embry hated yelling. Embry's ears were pretty sensitive to certain loud noises and yelling was one of them.

Embry and Mk laid down on the bed. Embry had snuggled up to Mk, causing him to turn red. He sighed, kissed Embry's head and fell asleep.
