Third Person POV

"Hey guys!" y/n yelled, running up to Aiger's tent with Naru where Ranjiro, Aiger and Hae-jin were gathered.

"Wassup, y/n!" Ranjiro called as the two girls ran up to them. Naru turned around her tablet and showed them the screen.

"These are the lineups for the tournament today!" Naru exclaimed. "Here you are, Hae-jin! You're up against Dhaula Giri!"

The picture showed a boy with a large snake wrapped around his shoulders. At the sight, Hae-jin straightened up and made a very weird face.

"Ha, what's up Hae-jin? Are you scared of a little snake?" y/n teased.

"Are you sure that's his scared face? It looks just like his smiling face," Naru whispered to Aiger.

"First, that is not a little snake, that is a very big snake. And second, I am not scared one bit," Hae-jin replied.

"Oh really?" y/n asked, taking the tablet from Naru. "Well, how about NOW?!" she yelled, shoving the picture in his face.

Hae-jin made the same expression and y/n burst out laughing. She patted his back and handed the tablet back to Naru.

"Alright, let me see it, who am I lined up with?" y/n asked. Naru swiped a couple times on the screen.

"Here you are! You're up against Adam Cade from America!" Naru said, showing y/n the screen.

"I hope he'll put up a good fight," y/n grinned, putting her hands on her hips. "What about Aiger and Ranjiro?"

"One second... Oh! They're up against each other!" Naru exclaimed, showing everyone the screen.

Almost immediately the two boys started glaring daggers at each other. "You're going down, Cap'n," Aiger said.

"You wish," Ranjiro retorted. "You don't stand a chance against me."

"Yeah, nobody can win against Cap'n!" Tobisuke exclaimed, pointing a finger at Aiger.

"Aww, why don't I get to go up against one of you two or Fubuki or something? Or even better, Suoh," y/n grumbled. "I swear I am going to crush that two-faced guy."

"I am going to train. I will leave you with Aiger and Ranjiro," Hae-jin said as he started to walk away.

"Oh hell naw! I'm not gonna stay in the warzone!" y/n yelled and she ran after Hae-jin.

Day of the tournament...

"The winner is y/n l/n! She will be advancing to the next round of the Luinor Cup!" Hanami announced.

The crowd cheered as y/n grinned. She jogged off of the stage back to the waiting room.

"That was awesome, y/n!" Nika exclaimed. She and Toko were waiting for her by the door.

"Thanks! b/n and I had a fun time!" y/n replied, running a hand through her hair.

"Hey guys, I think Hae-jin is up soon, if we hurry we can make it back to the audience in time," Toko said.

The three jogged back to where Aiger and Ranjiro were and took their seats next to them.

"Here comes the next fierce battle! Next up is Dhaula Giri versus one of our top scores from the qualifications, Hae-jin Oh!!" Hanami yelled.

They all watched intently as Hae-jin came out through one of the doors to the stadium. He froze immediately as Dhaula came out with a huge snake wrapped around his neck.

"The first match will begin shortly! Bladers, take your positions!" Hanami yelled.

"C'mon, Hae-jin," y/n muttered. She took a deep breath before yelling, "FOCUS, HAE-JIN! YOU'VE GOT TO FOCUS!"

Hae-jin spun around before nodding. He seemed to loosen up and the two started their battle.

Hae-jin's battle ended with a burst finish for him, knocking Dhaula out of the competition.

y/n hopped down to Hae-jin and grinned. "Great job!" she exclaimed.

"Thank you, y/n. You really helped me and I am in your debt," Hae-jin said.

"Aw don't worry about it! It was all you," y/n replied. "It'll be Fubuki and then Suoh's battles next. Then we can see who'll win in the battle against Aiger and Ranjiro, that'll sure be fun!"

Hae-jin nodded and the two walked back to the crowd.

Soon it was time for Aiger and Ranjiro's battle. Suoh and Fubuki both won theirs and were moving on.

"Next up in our round of fierce battles is the one, the only, Ranjiro Kiyama! He'll be facing off against the scarlet supernova, Aiger Akabane!" Hanami announced.

The two boys walked to face each other at the stadium. "Remember you're training, you guys!" y/n called.

"You're going down," Ranjiro sneered as they got in their positions.

"I'd like to see you try!" Aiger replied.

"Let the first battle begin!" the referee said. "Ready? And set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"Let it rip!"

Both beys rushed into the stadium. Roktavor took the center and Achilles smashed into it.

"Roktavor Typhoon!" Ranjiro yelled. He started glowing his aura as Achilles hit it.

Achilles ended up flying out of the stadium as a ring out finish. "Come on, you big idiots! You can do better than that!" y/n yelled.

(I'm lazy and didn't want to take up space explaining the battle, but basically Aiger won against Ranjiro with a burst finish)

It was after the tournament and everyone was leaving the arena. y/n hopped over to Aiger and Ranjiro who were chatting outside the door.

"Hey you guys! Great job on your match," y/n said. "And don't worry, you'll have another chance at fighting Lui, Ranjiro. You too Aiger."

"What do you mean me too? I obviously won," Aiger said, raising an eyebrow.

"Well I'm just saying that you won't be able to battle Lui anytime soon because I'm going to beat you," y/n said, smirking.

"I'd like to see you try!" Aiger yelled, crossing his arms.

"I could say the same to you," y/n replied snarkily.

"Yeah, yeah quit it you idiots," Ranjiro sighed. "But trust me, I'll beat Lui before any of you get a chance."

"Hey, you won't be able to even get close to him now-" The three bladers rambled on as the day came to an end.
