REMEMBER

Rhaenyra and Klaus were good friends and that said a lot considering Klaus Mikaelson didn't like that many people and let alone had many friends. Better yet, he barely even likes his family. He had told Rhaenyra his entire life in one conversation and even invited her to the homecoming party. She hadn't told Sam and Dean so, she kind of knocked them out with her powers. Bonnie Bennet, accidentally gave her all of her memories. Nik the man she thought was her friend was her son. Her Niklaus, her little boy. She was excited and wanted to tell him. Rhaenyra wanted to tell him who she was to him. As she arrived, teenage boys looked at the woman and even tried to get her attention.

As she arrives she sees Klaus get on stage. "Good evening everyone! I wanna thank you for being here with me to celebrate! It's been a long time coming!" he exclaimed. Katherine disguised as Elena arrives with Matt. "So much for homecoming..." Elena/Katherine said. "This is weird. Us being here together" Matt said. "There's Caroline. She doesn't know anything. Act normal" Elena/Katherine told him. "Hey, Klaus is here," Caroline told them as she approached them. "What?" Matt asked. "Yeah! Apparently, our sired hybrid-friend Tyler thought it would be okay to let his master throw a party..." from where she was standing Rhaenyra could hear everything. Klaus spotted Rhaenyra and walked over to her.

"You look beautiful" he complimented her. "Thank you, Nik. You look handsome as always" he smiled. "Thank you, Nyra" she nodded. "Klaus, we need to talk. There is something I need to tell you" she started. He nodded as she was about to reply, Tyler interrupted them. Rhaenyra stood aside as they spoke. He also spoke with Elena who seemed nervous. "Now, Nyra. What do you want to talk about?" he asked. But once again they were interrupted. "You have a visitor," Mindy said. "Well, tell my visitor I'm on the brink of victory here" he replied. "He said his name is Mikael" Rhaenyra tensed at the mention of Mikael. "Then we mustn't keep him waiting. Move everyone outback. I'm gonna have a little chat with my dad" he turned to Tony. "Tony, you know what to do" Tony nodded. Klaus turned to Rhaenyra. "Nyra go home. I'll find you when this is over" she nodded but she knew she wasn't going anywhere.

Klaus walks to the front door where Mikael is waiting for him. "Hello, Niklaus" he greets him. "Hello, Mikael. Why don't you come in? Oh, that's right. I forgot. You can't" Klaus mocks him. "Or you can come outside if you want" Mikael calmly offers. "Or I could watch my hybrids tear you limb from limb" Klaus replied as a group of hybrids gather behind Mikael on the lawn. "They can't kill me" Mikael states. "True, but it'll make a hell of a party game. All I have to do is rub these two fingers and they'll pounce" Klaus replied. Rhaenyra was anxious. "The big bad wolf. You haven't changed. Still hiding behind your playthings like a coward. You only forget. They may be sired by you, but they're still a part vampire. And they can be compelled by me" Mikael states as Mindy walks up behind Mikael and pushes Katherine to Mikael.

"Come out and face me, Niklaus. Or she dies" Mikael says. "Go ahead. Kill her" Klaus replies. Katherine pretends to be scared. "No. Klaus. He'll do it" Katherine says. "If she dies, this lot will be the last of your abominations" he states as he looks back at the hybrids. "I don't need them. I just need to be rid of you" Klaus finally says. "To what end, Niklaus? So you can live forever, with no one at your side? Nobody cares about you anymore, boy!" Mikael taunted him. "I do" Rhaenyra finally walked out of the shadows. Mikael was shocked. He thought her dead. Klaus saw the fear in Mikael's eyes. Mikael knew what Rhaenyra was capable of. "Go on, Mikael. Tell him who I am" Rhaenyra told him. By then, Damon, Stefan, Bonnie, Caroline, Matt, and Tyler were staring. "Tell him!" she screamed. Her hair turned red, her eyes orange, and the veins returned.

The hybrids were shocked and scared as was Katherine. "Tell him, Mikael. Tell him what Esther did to me. Go on" Klaus turned to Mikael and then to her. He wanted to know what she was talking about. But Mikael remained silent. Klaus saw fear in Mikael's eyes for once in his life. Rhaenyra looked at Katherine. "Sorry, Katerina Petrova, but you are not needed at the moment" and with that, she snapped her neck. Klaus had to admit, he liked having someone powerful at his side.

But he liked that she defended and cared for him. "Let me do it for you, then" she turned to Klaus. "Klaus, I'm your mother" that bomb went off and it threw people off. She grabbed the side of his head and all the few memories he had of her came rushing back. He could feel the tears in his eyes. He remembered her, her hugs, her kisses, her stories, everything about her. He couldn't help it and engulfed his mother in a hug but he couldn't do it without stepping outside.

Mikael took that as an opportunity to kill him but his mother took the stake to the back for him.

"Mother no!" he yelled, Mikael pulls the stake back thinking he had killed but boy was he wrong. She turned so fast that no one even saw her turn. But they saw how she placed her hand on Mikael's head and turned him into dust.

As she finished killing Mikael. A bunch of newbie vampires lunged for Klaus. She stops most of them with her powers, but a few got past her. With her mind link, she made them circle her as she unleashed her power on them.

When she turned she saw Damon trying to stab Klaus she used a blast of power to throw him off Klaus.
She looked at everyone else. "Anyone else?" she asked. They were all to stunned and afraid to reply. She looked at Klaus. "You and I need to talk" he nodded. "We do, mother," he said smiling. It made Rhaenyra happy that Klaus accepted her. It was odd for him too but he finally felt like there was someone who loved him for him. He felt like there was someone who actually cared for him without him even asking. But it's true what they say. "There's nothing more pure and real than a mother's love for her children"
