Evander's Pov

(Queens, New York, November 2018, Evander's Age: 21)

It's been a couple of months since the snap as half of the universe was gone and couldn't come back. All of us was dealing with out losses in our own way. With me, it took a huge toll on me as I lose my sister, best friend, and my childhood friend causing me to have even more depression than ever but I hid it away from mum, Wanda, and the kids as they need me. Right now I'm web swinging through out the city  just trying to get my head straight, and just left my job from OSCROP as an engineer. I landed on a building and look at the city below me making my sigh.

Evander: It's quite now almost too quite...very unreal for New York. *chuckles a bit as my phone ranged and answered it* Hello?

Wanda: Hey babe how was work?

Evander: it was good, I'm just on top of a building right now. Need something?

Wanda: Yeah we ran out of baby stuff can you go by some on your way back here, and bring me something too?

Evander: I will. *hears sirens* Oh great someone caused trouble, I gotta go Wanda I love you.

Wanda; Love you too. *hangs up*

Evander: Look like my other job needs me.

I jumped off the building and started following the sirens as I got closer I saw a group of thugs trying to steal a store, I landed on the ground and tapped on the glass t get their attention.

Thug#1: *looks at the glass* Oh shit it's Shadow Spider!

Thug#2: Kill'em!!

They started shooting at the glass as I dodged all of their bullets and soon the glass fully breaks as I web zipped in and kicked one thug and jumped over another one and kicks him outside and webs him to the ground. I grabbed his buddy and throws him into a lamppost.

Evander: *sighs* Even with people gone there are still criminals. Jeez. *looks at the thugs* Welp stick around you guys.

I soon webs swing away as the police came and took the thugs. After going to the store and buying some more baby stuff and Wanda's favorite snacks, I made it back home where me, Wanda, and the kids are still living with my mum until I can find a house.

Evander: *walks in* I'm home!

Angel: How was work Evander?

Evander: It was fine just dealt with some thugs after though.

Angel: *sighing* Even after this snap they still wanna rob?

Evander: *shurgs* Where's Wanda and the kids?

Angel: Sleeping in your room. Put the stuff in the kitchen and I'll put them up.

Evander: Thanks mum. 

I walked into the kitchen and put the stuff on the table and went upstairs to see Wanda and the kids sleeping on my bed. I chuckled to myself and noticed a bump on her stomach knowing that Tommy and Billy will be older brothers. I sat on the edge of the bed and saw a photo of me, Eve, and Roisin I grabbed it and stared at it for a bit.

Evander: Every single day I miss you guys....*smiles sadly and sighs* It's getting late and I have work tomorrow. 

I put the photo back to where it was and laid back on the bed and huge my family close as I close my eyes.
