Y/N POV
After a few peaceful days of not seeing or having any contact with Levi, I got informed by Eren that Commander Erwin wanted me to go to his offic to go sign the divorce papers that would officially separate me from Levi, and to sign a protective order that would prohibit Levi from contacting me.

It was morning and I walked behind Mikasa and Annie who were guiding me to Captain Erwin's office.

"Stay strong, Y/N." Mikasa didn't even looked at me but there was a soothing tone in her voice. I wasn't even able to look at her in the eyes. Not after going behind her and the rest of the group's back and start a relationship with Eren.
What started with Eren acting as a bodyguard, making sure Levi wouldn't get close to me until the divorce papers were signed ended with kissing and plans for a future.

Mikasa's paced slowed down as she spotted Eren and Armin standing a few feet outside of Erwin's office.

"Eren!" As soon as Mikasa stopped, she started running towards him. "You weren't there for breakfast this morning. Are you feeling okay?"

"I'm fine, Mikasa. Don't worry too much over me," Eren replied rolling his eyes. A hint of annoyance in his voice as he made eye contact with her worried eyes.
Then he looked at me.

"Good morning, Y/N." His green eyes revealed sincere happiness.

"Good morning Eren and Armin. What are you guys doing here?" I tilted my head as an attempt to fake a confused look. Playing dumb like if Eren and I didn't plan for him to be with me when I signed the divorce papers the night before.

"Captain Erwin called me and Armin to his office an hour ago. You know, to get our testimony of what happened in the women's bathroom that day," Eren explained.

I avoided eye contact feeling embarrassed about what happened. How I just cried and couldn't do anything to defend myself.
"I'm here because I'm finally signing the divorce papers and it seems that I might get a protective order to keep Levi away." I forced myself to look at them again. "Mikasa and Annie made me the huge favor to accompany me here." I would of felt better if Sasha was with me, but she broke her leg that day due to Levi pushing her.

"I'll go in with you." Eren smiled at me.

Mikasa seemed to open her mouth to say something, her eyes full of fear and disapproval due to what Eren just said, but before she could say anything, Armin spoke.

"I think I should go inside with Y/N." Armin swallowed his fear and forced a smile. "After all, Captain Levi thinks that her and I are together. I think it would be more believable if it was me who was there to emotionally support her."

Eren looked at me and stayed quiet for what seemed hours but eventually nodded. Mikasa just gave us an approving smile, but Annie only looked down. Her eyes revealing sadness.
"Everything will be alright Y/N." My attention was snapped back at Eren as he assured me with a sincere smile.

Armin grabbed my hand and began leading me to Captain Erwin's office. I felt sick to my stomach as Armin opened Erwin's wooden office door and we stepped inside.

"You're humanity's only hope. I don't want to do anything that-" Captain Erwin was cut off as his piercing blue eyes turned to look at Armin and me.
Levi's gray gaze followed Erwin's and looked at Armin then at me. However, before I could look away, it was Levi who broke the eye contact first.

"Y/N, please sit down." Erwin gave me a welcoming smile and pointed at the chair in front of his desk. The chair next to where Levi was sitting.

"Don't be afraid, Y/N. I'm here." Armin whispered in my ear and I realized that I was clawing my nails in his hands.

"Sorry." I muttered as I sat down. Erwin gave me a confused look while Levi completely ignored me.

"Okay Levi. These are the divorce papers....Sign here." Erwin pointed to an X followed by a blank column. Surprisingly, Levi signed quickly.

"Okay now your turn, Y/N." Commander Erwin placed the paper in front of me and passed me the same pen Levi had used to sign.
My hand was shaking and I quickly signed as an attempt to hide my visible fear.

"Okay good." Commander Erwin motion me to hand the pen back to Levi.
Levi's hand accidentally brushed against mine as he took the pen from my hand and by instinct I jerked my hand away.

"Okay this means that you two are no longer married." Erwin then took another paper and placed it in front of Levi. "This is the protective order that prohibits you from having any contact or communication with Y/N."

I watched for any hesitation on Levi's expression, but he signed the form as quickly as the form was placed in front of him.

"You can leave now, Levi." Erwin said as he placed the protective order in front of me.

"Understood." Levi muttered not even glancing my way or at Armin. He just got up and left.

I signed the form as quickly as I could and got up.

"Y/N, this form prohibits Levi from contacting you. If he ever comes in contact with you let the police know and let me know. But believe me, he won't. I'll make sure of that." Erwin tried to bring me peace of mind. I just forced a smile and nodded.

"You can now go home to your parents. You're safe now." Erwin said.

"Thank you for your service." I stupidly whispered due to not knowing what to say.

Armin took my hand again and led me outside of the office.

I turned and I could see Levi at the end of the hall. His back to me as he headed outside of the building. Petra next go him talking about something. Neither of them even turning back to look at us. Like if the event that just occurred didn't happen.

"Y/N, I'll walk you home." Armin said waking me up from my thoughts.

I forced myself to look away from Levi and Petra and smiled at him. "Sure. Thank you very much."
