❝I HATE the subway." Ellie mumbled.

        "Is this even a good plan?" Ethan asked, gripping Ellie's hand.

        "You don't have to come if you don't want to." Tara said, running down the steps as the rest of the group followed behind.

        "So we just peel off and the killer picks us off one by one? No, thank you." Sassed laced in Ethan's voice. "We should just leave." He whispered in Ellie's ear.

        The girl furrowed her eyebrows at him. "What? And let this bitch keep tormenting us? Fuck that." Ellie said, letting go of his hand and walked faster to get in front of him.

        "Let's just get to the theater." Sam said. "Come on, in here."

        "Ahh, yes," Chad started to complain. "because it'll be much less scary at the serial killer movie theater."

        One train stopped meaning there were even more people packed in the underground station—if that was possible. As more people got off the train, Mindy and Ethan were separated from the rest of the group. Chad has held onto Ellie's wrist, trying his best to keep her calm because she extremely claustrophobic.

        "Mindy! Mindy!" Chad yelled, seeing his sister behind a bunch of people, trying to make her way towards the train door but she missed it. "Shit."

        Ellie breathed in and out while closing her eyes doing her best of ignoring the tight space in the train. "You okay?" Chad asked. She opened her eyes being met with worried brown eyes. She nodded her head before closing her eyes once again.

        "Where's Mindy?" Sam asked.

        "She missed the train." Chad informed the girl, his arm now hanging over Ellie's shoulders. "I was gonna wait for her, but Cute Boy here dragged me on."

        "I was trying to keep us together." Danny tried reasoning with the boy.

        "By pulling us apart?" Tara still suspicious of Danny. He just sighed.

        "It's okay, it's okay. It's fine. She's with Ethan. She'll meet us there." Chad put his phone into his pocket and felt as Ellie leaned more into him. He looked up, face dropping and grip getting tighter around Ellie as he saw multiple people with a ghostface costume on. "Oh shit."

        This made Ellie open her eyes and lift up her head and the other turn around. Ellie's breathing started getting heavier as her stomach dropped. "How many stops do we have?" Tara asked.

        "Ten." Sam answered, terrified looks from everyone in the group.

        Ellie wrapped her arms around Chads torso and he rubbed her back, trying his best to calm her. "It'll be okay." He whispered every now and then.

ELLIE'S ROOM AFTER
HALLOWEEN PARTY.

❝I JUST gonna..." Chad trails off, pointing at the girls room. "check on her." He quickly walks towards the girl's room with his head faced down, not looking at anyone in the room. He softly knocked on her door and waited till her heard and okay to enter. "Hey."

"Hi." Her voice was small and soft.

"I know you're scared—" She scoffed at his words. "but it was just some bitch who got a bad grade on a test."

"And if it wasn't? If someone is actually targeting us again?" He sat next to her on the bed, laying his hand on the lower part of her back. "I already lost my dad and Wes to this sick fuck I can't lose you too." She eyed him, pausing for a second. "I can't lose you, Tara, Sam and Mindy. I seriously don't know what I would do with out you guys."

"You're not going to." He looked at her and looked straight into her eyes. They were his favorite feature. "You're not gonna lose any of us."

She smiled at Chad slightly the sighed. She wrapped her arms around Chads neck and his arms wrapped perfectly around her waist. "I love you, Chad."

Now, Chad knew how the girl meant it but it's a nice feeling hearing the girl you've been in love with since sophomore year say she loves you. "I love you more." He most definitely did love her more.

EVERY NOW and then Ellie would open her eyes to see someone dressed in a ghostface mask, ultimately making her jump in fear.

        "Still nothing from Mindy." Chad told the group. After the train had stopped, many people started leaving the train. Sam spotted a person with a white mask with a black robe on closer to the back of train making its way towards her and her friends.

       "Guys." She said, worry fills her voice. Tara turned around and Ellie opened her eyes while to two guys looks up in Sam's direction. The person started walking faster, bumping into people and pushing people making them groan and complain. Danny's stepped in front of Sam in a protective way but the person took a sharpe turn out of the train.

        Meanwhile, with Mindy and Ethan, Mindy was getting stabbed.

        "Oh, shit. Mindy!" Ethan called seeing the girl now sitting on the train floor in pain. "Fuck. That's a lot of blood. Help! We got to get you out of here, okay?"

        "Somebody call 911!" Ethan yelled while setting Mindy down on the ground. "Are you okay?"

        "Yeah, I'm so good." She sarcastically stated.

        "You're gonna be okay." He reassured the girl. He didn't technically need to save the girl, but Mindy was special to Ellie, so he figured why not. "You're gonna be okay. Fuck."

        "Goddamn it. I got it wrong again." Mindy grunted, looking up at Ethan. "What the fuck."
