โ And that's Veronica Sparks โ” our honorary pogue. She grew up right next door but didn't pay much attention to any of us until I accidentally knocked her off her dock when we were about eight during one of her parents infamous keggers. Don't ask her about it, she'll always say it wasn't an accident, which is a complete lie. Ronnie knows she's one of us, but there's a group of kooks that try their hardest to turn her into one of them. While she only with us when she's not off with her kook friends, she's the missing puzzle piece this group needed and without her there would be an empty void in her place. She likes to think that she's not that important, but with the googly eyes she receives from JJ says another thing. Everyone in the group has at least had a crush on her at one point, but it eventually fades knowing none of us stand a chance. Except for JJ, he's helpless, man. He likes to say he doesn't have a crush anymore, but that's a stone cold lie. The only one who doesn't know about it is Ronnie. She just thinks JJ's just being JJ. Some of us think that she has a crush on JJ too, but with that loser kook she's always around, it makes us second guess. Even though we all despise kooks, we tolerate Ronnie's best friend Becca. They're stuck to each other like glue, so when there's Ronnie, there's Becca. We put up with it solely because without Ronnie, things would be a lot more lonely, โž
