2 Months Later :
"WELCOME TO OUR RESTAURANT! Please have a seat and try our new menu. What can I get you?" Rajwan jokingly spoke, leading Noah inside the new restaurant.
"Well, maybe you can get me Mal for starters, and maybe some fries. I'm starving." Noah replied with a wide, enthusiastic smile. He took his seat on one of the leather armchairs. Rajwan smiled back, muttering a small reply before he stormed to the kitchen to get the order.
A few moments later, Noah saw his beautiful girlfriend running towards him, then tackling him in a tight hug.
"Hey! I missed you so much..." he whispered, hugging her back. She gave his recovering body a gentle squeeze before letting him go.
"I missed you way more!"
They sat down across from each other again.
"My mum told me everything. Thank you so much for saving my life, I could've been dead by now."
She shook her head with a small smile. "I love you, Noah, a lot. I would be lost without you."
He reached for her hand from across the table.
"I love you more, Mal... God, you have no idea. It's me who would be lost without you, literally."
She stood up from her seat and walked over to his, sitting right next to him.
"I guess you could say we were meant for each other."
She planted a small kiss on his forehead.
"Anyway so-"
The two teenagers were interrupted by loud voices following them into the restaurant. Mal turned around to see Noah's siblings, Jemima and Jacobi.
The two siblings hurried to hug Mal as greeting, which was something they started doing about two months before. Jemima was less uncomfortable around Mal. In fact, the two became friends quickly than they both thought.
They were too comfortable around each other that Jemima told her about what Chris did to her when she was younger.
"I told them to give me a ten minutes head start. Seems like time passes quickly when I'm with you." Mal giggled at his words, then greeted the two siblings and the four began to talk.
"Food's ready!"
Nawal watched them giggling and laughing from the kitchen entrance, a wide smile spread over her face.
She was happy that everything was back to normal.
Jacobi let out two wooden sticks and stuck them into his nose, imitating a walrus of some kind. Nawal shook her head in dismay, still laughing before going back to the kitchen.
Almost normal.
