Disha's POV

I wore a saree and came out of the closet and saw abhinav using his phone while sitting on his bed. I stood in front of mirror and applied vermillion on my hairline.

I used a light makeup and suddenly my eyes met abhinav's from the mirror who was staring at me intently.

As soon as our eyes met he quickly got up from the bed and went inside the washroom without saying anything.

I went inside khushi's room and saw khushi was still sleeping while tightly hugging her teddy bear.

"Cupcake, wake up" I said caressing her hair and she smiled in sleep.

"Good Morning Mommy" khushi said and hugged me. I replied her while hugging her back. I will never get tired of listening Mommy from her.

I helped her in taking bath and then dressed her in a pink floral dress. I braided her hair in two ponytails with few bangs on her forehead.

"Thank you Mommy and I love you so so so much" she said while jumping in front of mirror looking at herself.

"I love you too cupcake so so so much" I said and she giggled. I started to tickle her and she was laughing clutching her stomach.

I stopped when I felt presence behind me. I looked at the door and saw abhinav looking at us smiling.

"Papa see mommy dressed me today" khushi said and abhinav came towards us. He kissed her cheeks saying she is looking beautiful.

"Papa won't you kiss mommy? I have seen that kyra's father always kiss her and then her mother" she said to abhinav and I was going to deny when abhinav kissed my right cheek.

My eyes widened and I looked at him shocked from his behaviour but he smirked.

Why did he kissed me? He could have denied khushi. What is wrong with this man? So annoying!! and why the hell am I blushing? Ahh!!

Khushi clapped her hands happily. We heard doorbell and I know that mom and dad must have came.

Shit! I haven't made the breakfast yet.

"I am going to make breakfast. Can you please open the door?" I asked abhinav and he nodded.

I greeted mom and dad and they both hugged me. I started making breakfast and mom and ashi also helped me a little. I made the breakfast and we had it while talking.

Ashi is their cook and khushi's nanny. She is very sweet and loving in nature. I know that I met her today only but khushi told me about how ashi is so loving and caring towards her.

"Beta we are leaving for Jaipur today" Dad said and I asked him why so soon?

"Beta there is some important meeting there but don't worry we will come back soon" Dad told us and we nodded.

I took the plates and placed them inside the sink when mom called me.

"Yes mom?" I asked her smiling and she also smiled.

"Beta I know that abhinav is hard to handle and I know that he is behaving rude to you but just keep in mind that he was not like this before. Everything changed 4 years ago but I hope you will try to make your relationship work and make him believe in love again" she said sadly.

"What happened 4 years ago and who is khushi's biological mother?" I asked her the question which was bugging me from the start.

"4 years ago in an accident we lost our Gau....." mom was telling me but got interrupted by abhinav who shouted "MOM".

He gave me a death glare and told mom that dad is calling her outside. We went outside and bid bye to them. Mom gave me an apologetic look but I blinked my eyes in assurance that I will be okay.

Of which I am not sure because abhinav is glaring at me very angrily.

"Khushi go play in your room with Ashi" abhinav said while ashi came and took khushi with her despite of her attempt to jump out of her hold.

I was looking at khushi when suddenly abhinav gripped my wrists tightly and dragged me to his room. He opened the door and pinned me to the wall.

"Why the hell were you inquiring about my past and private life from my mother. Huh? Didn't you understood any word which I told you last night? YOU ARE NOBODY TO ME so don't you dare poke your nose in my matter from now on" he yelled at me.

He was gripping my hand so tightly that some of my bangles cracked due to the pressure and pierced my skin. I closed my eyes due to pain. I pushed him hard and he stumbled back.

"What the hell do you think of yourself? I didn't asked anything from mom she herself came and told me about some things and I just questioned her back. I know that I meant nothing to you but for your information you are the one who forced me to marry you so have some shame and at least behave respectfully to me" I yelled back at him with tears running down my cheeks because of the pain both mentally and physically.

He looked somewhat guilty and was going to speak but I ran inside the washroom and locked the door. I touched my left wrist lightly from which blood was oozing out.

I cleaned my wound and bandaged it. I wiped my tears and came out of the washroom and abhinav was nowhere. I went to khushi's room and there she was sitting on her bed with a pout on her face.

"Cupcake" I called her and she smiled brightly at me. She hugged me and hid her face in the crook of my neck.

"She was missing you that's why she was not playing with me" ashi said smiling and ruffled khushi's hair. I smiled at ashi and suddenly her smile faded.

"What happened to your hand, mam?" She asked me worryingly and khushi also looked at it.

"Umm.....I accidentally hit my hand on the table and bangles grazed my skin there but no need to worry it is not paining now" I said but khushi touched it with her small hands and looked at me with tearful eyes. Ashi too looked at me but with a sad expression.

"Cupcake really it is not paining much and do my cupcake wants to eat strawberry cupcake?" I asked her to lighten her mood and it worked because she smiled at me and nodded her head excitedly. I took khushi to dining area and sat her down on the chair.

"Mommy you know kyra is my best friend but I used to get jealous whenever she told me about her and her mother's bond but now I have you so I am very happy now. Will you meet my friend?" khushi told me while eating her cupcake.

"Of course I will meet her. Khushi's friend means my friend" I said and she laughed while giving high five to me. After chit chatting she went to her room to complete her homework as she will continue her school from tomorrow.

I went inside the room and saw devil working in his laptop. He looked at me but I ignored him and sat on my couch with my laptop to complete my pending work which piled up due to my so called wedding.

Why is he not working in his study? I can't tell him to leave also because basically it is his room.

I felt his stare on me from time to time but I ignored him and kept on doing it. One hour later khushi barged inside the room and sat on my lap.

"Mommy why are you sitting on the couch and not on the bed?" khushi asked me confusingly and I chuckled at her expression.

"Cupcake we are working and I was comfortable here so I started working here" I told her and she nodded her head cutely.

"Okay so you will ignore your papa now as you have got your mommy" abhinav said while faking that he is sad.

Khushi giggled and sat on his lap while hugging him with her little hands. I smiled looking at them and decided to help ashi in making lunch.

I and ashi made lunch together. I called abhinav and khushi for lunch and then had our lunch. Like this whole day was passed in me talking with khushi and anshi.

After having dinner khushi went to her room to sleep. I also entered the room and laid on the couch to sleep.

"Disha?" I heard abhinav calling me but I ignored him. What did he think of himself that he can shout at me whenever he wants and then act like nothing happened? On top of that he didn't even apologized for hurting me. Heartless jerk!

"I will join office from tomorrow and you can also join if you want" he told me and as before I didn't replied him and slept.
