Devon got the day off, relaxing and having some peace and quiet. She went to do some errands, did some yoga, went to take Rush for a run. The music blasting in her ears, dashing through the crowd and into the park. Rush kept up with her, went ahead. Devon focused on her breathing, counting how many steps she took. Devon took Rush to the dog park as for a treat and sat down, looking at him run with the other dogs.
Rush stood by her side as it got dark, growling at the ones how cat called her as they went home. Devon saw Rivers car in front of the building, it wasn't Thursday. She sat on the steps for about 5 minutes before they head in. Devon opens the door, Rush running in to play with Fanny. Yelena and River turned and watched her throw her keys in the bowl and going to her room.
"Devon, we have to talk." River said as they followed her.
"Better not be a bad talk because I finally got to relax." She takes a deep breath and starts to pick out her clothes before she jumps into the shower. Yelena and River elbowed each other who would tell her first.
"Devon..." Yelena clears her throat. "Fisk it out of prison." Devon stood up straight, the peacefulness flew out of her body and anger replaced it. The two siblings watched as her mood changed and her head snaps back.
"What?" She said so thick.
"FBI. They have him down at the Presidential Hotel. I don't know why." Devon quickly goes and turns on the Tv. Every news channel was talking about it. Devons blood was boiling. She wanted to kill Fisk. "Think this through-" devon grabs her sweater and runs out of the apartment. Yelena and River ran after her, following her to the hotel. Everyone was chatting to get him back to prison, FBI agents everywhere. Little did she know, Matt was standing right behind her.
"Devon." River pants. Yelena walks up to her and looks at she was looking at. "If you are planning to kill him-"
"I can't do it, its too secured. All door entrances, the roof even." Devon says. He doesn't deserve to be here. He cant get away with this. What did he have to do, have to manipulate to be here. Yelena and River had to drag her out of the way as the agents were pushing them out.
Devon sat in her bed as she looked up Vanessas last spot she was seen at. She did tell Fisk if he ever messed with her, she will have Vanessa killed. She was willing to keep that promise. For now what Devon can do is keep River and her mother safe. Her mom was staying at her cousins house, River stayed.
"Shes in Spain." She called a fellow Widow. "Track her every move, i know they'll move her every day or so, do not lose her. Keep me updated."
"Yes Devon." They hung up. Devon looks out her window, cracking her knuckles. The widow sent me her location, she was getting out of Barcelona and is heading closer. Yelena and River were getting worried, she cant kill Fisk without being seen, what is she going to do?

Late night, Devon decided to take a stroll. Letting River track her down, promising them that she wasn't going to do anything stupid and reckless. She shoved her hands in her hoodie, looking down as it rained. She stops at a place she would never imagine to be in. She looks up at the church Matt would go to. Standing, debating whether to go in or just walk away.
"You won't burn if you walk in." She turns to see a sister standing next to her. Devon chuckles and wipes her nose with her finger. "Come on." She walks up, waving her hand to come closer. Devon took a step and sighed. "See, nothing." She looks at her. "First time?"
"That noticeable huh?" She licked her lips. We walked into the church.
"Just a little." She chuckles softly. "Sister Maggie." She introduced herself.
"Devon Hobbs." The sister steps back, her. The woman Matt has been talking about. Devon... Sister Maggie is betting that Matt is hearing her right now. "I knew a man, he grew up here. He was taken in after his father was killed. He struggled to fit in because of his injuries. He had a hard time being here." She smiles down to herself. "I never imagined it to be this pretty."
"Matthew. I know him." She places her hands in front of her. "He was a little pain in our asses back in the day." She made Devon giggle. "Take your time." She pats Devons arm and walks away. Devon sways, looking around, she felt wrong being here, she shouldn't be here. Matt heard the familiar heartbeat, standing up slowly and listened carefully. Its was Devon. He can hear here pacing, to the benches, to the confession box. But she settles for the bench. She kneels down and clears her throat.
"Its me, you probably disowned me years ago but..." Devon clears her throat. She claps her hands together and closed her eyes. "I know i asked for your help years ago, you never responded, never cared, but i need you more than ever. One more favor. Give me a sign that Matts alive. Fisk is out of prison and I know he is up to something. I am trying so hard not to go all berserk and kill everyone to get to him for what he has done to my family and myself, I need Matt to help me. I need him to get me out of this dark path, even if we get to take him down together." She sniffs. "Even if i get to see him for a little bit, please. Let me see my Matthew. I will do anything."
Matt places his head on the bricked wall, feeling her heartbeat. She hasn't been okay, he can tell by the sound of her voice, cracked and low. He can smell the vodka on her lips, the cracking of her knuckles, the tapping of her foot. He needs to touch her, to kiss her, to hold her again. Matt wants to tell her that hes here but not now. Not until he takes down Fisk.
