Dreams were always peculiar for Anna. From a young age she lacked sleep, unable to slip to the joyous darkness.

Insomnia haunted her life, unable to sleep because of the demons under her bed and the voices shouting outside her window.

Growing up her parents always fought. Even if it never became physical it impacted the girl in a way no one should experience.

She was told that parents were meant to have love for each other, always get along and savor every moment together.

Yet, whenever she went to sleep the ruckus started, items thrown and words spewed with a poisonous venom.

Unable to phantom an idea as to why this happened she blamed sleep.

She blamed the restful darkness for her mother leaving.

She blamed the old and molded relm for being diagnosed.

She blamed the man with blue eyes for being all alone, wishing nothing more than to fall asleep and never wake up like others experienced.

She blamed the nightmares for having to live a life.

And she blamed that stupid crow for the adventure that would be soon to come.
