Class after class, it was finally Lunch. Ira got up from his seat and began gathering his belongings. As he takes a few steps towards the door, Mai stops him. He turned to her. "Wanna eat Lunch together?" Ira hesitated because what if Rachel saw him with this girl? She would be hella jealous and cause commotion. Ira kindly declined. "S-Sorry, I.. am reserved.. I'm eating Lunch with someone else." Mai gave him a sad smile. "Oh, okay. See ya later, then." She walked past Ira and out the door to Lunch. Ira followed a few steps away.

Ira had gotten his lunch Rachel packed for him and looked around for Rachel. He then spotted her near a wall outside from the cafeteria, reading her book. He walks over to her and gives her a peck. She jumped in surprise. "OH! Ira. Hahaha, hey!" She hugs him, and he hugs back. "Let's go to the rooftop." Rachel said as she walked to the stairs. "Okay!" Ira glances back inside of the cafeteria and saw Mai sitting alone. He felt guilty for declining her. He walks over to her.

"Hey Mai, follow me." he said.

Mai looked at him and smiled. She nods and stands up, following Ira to the stairs of the school's rooftop. When they got there, Rachel was sitting down, still reading her book. Ira walks to Rachel and sits down with her. Mai stopped as she looked at them. She thought it was just going to be her and Ira. It appears not. "Rachel~" Ira said. She looks up from her book. Ira flicks her forehead. "OW!" Rachel yelped as she rubbed her forehead. Ira was snickering. "What was that for?!" She softly hit Ira. Mai then got the courage to sit down with them. Rachel looked at her.

"Uhm, hi.. Uh, w-who are you? N-Not to sound rude, or anything..." Rachel said to her.

Ira placed his hand his hand on hers. "This is Mai, my new friend." Rachel looked at Ira, then at Mai, then back to him. "Oh. Seems you made some new friends! That's great!" She poked his cheek. "A-Are you... that girl he was talking about?" asked Mai. Rachel tilts her head. "What ever do you mean?" Mai fiddled with her fingers. "He was talking about this girl in class. She had dark blue hair and blue eyes... That girl looks like you. He was hoping to be in the same class as you." Rachel nodded. "Yeah, that sounds like me," She turned to him. "Awww, my little Ira was missing me~" she pinched his cheek. "Aye aye, staapphh!" Rachel giggles. "Adorable." She turns to Mai. "Oh and, my name is Rachel." Mai nods. "Nice to meet you, Rachel. You must be good friends with Ira.." She raised a brow. 

"Friends? Oh no no no honey, I'm not his friend." 

Ira whispered in her ear. "Uhm, I kinda... told her we were friends..." Rachel flicks his forehead. "Ow.." He frowned. "Anyway... Ira is not my friend, best friend,  nor relative. He's my boyfriend." Ira nodded. "Y-Yeah, I meant to tell you she was my girlfriend..." Mai was shocked. She, surprise surprise, had a small crush on Ira. "And, I'll have to talk to you privately..." Rachel grabs Mai by her wrist and took her away from Ira. Ira was quietly eating his lunch. Mai was against a wall.

"Listen, Mai, don't try anything with Ira, kay? He's MY boyfriend, and has no interest in you." Rachel said. 

Mai got a little.. mad. "Ira will break things off with you once I spend more time with him..." she smirked. "Whatever. That's just your stupid little fantasy." Rachel walked back to Ira as quickly as possible. She sat down and smiled at Ira. She gave him a kiss on the lips. Mai sat down and looked away, crossing her arms. All three of them ate their lunch, chatting along the way.

As Lunch was ending, they were packing up their things. They all stood up and said their goodbyes. Rachel kisses Ira again, and he kisses back. Mai rolls her eyes. "See ya, Ray." Ira said. "Oh, a nickname?" Rachel & Ira giggles. "Let's walk to our classes, Ira, darling." Rachel links arms with Ira. She looks at Mai. "And you can come too, or whatever..." Rachel added. Mai glares at Rachel. Rachel leads the way.

They arrived at their next class. It seems they have class together. "It's amazing how we have the same class!" Rachel exclaimed. "Yeah!" Ira put his arm around her, so did Rachel. Mai was just watching them with envy. They entered their next class, Chemistry. "Chemistry? What is that?" Ira whispered to Rachel. "Chemistry is a subject that is apart of a subject called Science. You might know what Science is, " Ira nods. "So, like, it's when we deal with chemicals. Like Nitrogen, Carbon, Oxygen, all that jazz. You would learn all of this in this class-" Ira nods again. 

"Uhm, what are you two whispering about?" Mai suddenly asked.

Ira and Rachel pause and Rachel says, "Nothing." Rachel sat down in her seat. She never had a lab partner because she was smart on her own. But she wanted Ira next to her in class today. As Mai was about to ask Ira to sit with her, Rachel pulled Ira into the seat next to her. "OOF-" Mai bubbled with anger. She sat in an empty seat and was assigned with some other guy. But she just wanted to be partners with Ira.

"Yay, we're lab-partners!!" Rachel exclaimed as she hugged Ira.

Ira was indeed excited, too. But he was a little worried. He just assumed that Mai was working well with someone else so it wouldn't be a problem. "Yes!" Ira exclaimed. Mai rolled her eyes once more. Then the class began.

Chemistry class ended and it seems Ira and Rachel had lots of fun. Mai, not so much. They exit the classroom. "So, I have P.E next!" Rachel said. "I have it, too." Ira said. Mai said nothing and was disappointed. "...I have... Math.." Ira frowned. "It's okay, Mai. Maybe we'll be together in the next class. Just hold on. You may meet some new people and get frIEEEEENNNDSSS-" Rachel did not like the conversation so she ran to the next class, dragging Ira along so he was sort of cut off. Mai shook it off and gloomily walked to Math.
