Y/n)'s POV

Khun seems a bit surprised and suddenly gets up.

"I don't need a toxic guide on my team"

I laugh and grab his tie to bring him closer to me, our noses touching.

"I can know all the things you're wondering about. I can help you. And you can't say no, we had a deal before, remember ?"

He put his hand on the table and looked me in the eye like there was nobody in the restaurant.

"And you can help me how?
- I can see your destiny and... You should take me on your team. I don't know if I can change the future... But people will die, Khun. This is the path I see in your eyes."

Suddenly, during our little staring contest, a waitress comes over and taps me on the shoulder.

"Can you please sit down ? All the customers are looking at you and your boyfriend... This is not a place for that sort of thing."

I turn a bit red and stare at the waitress, without letting go of Khun's tie.

"HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND, ALRIGHT ?"

The maid laughs and looks at us.

"You're both wearing piercings and acting like a couple, so I thought you were. Sorry."

(A/n: You have black piercings, one on each ear !)

She smiles and walks away. I look at Khun with a cute look that hides an immense rage.

"Can we get out of this stupid restaurant ?
- Yes, we can. Let me go now."

I let go of Khun's tie and walk out of the restaurant to breath fresh air and look at the blue-haired guy next to me.

"I want to join your team. Let me in, you and your team are in danger."

Novick's POV

29th floor, E-regular class's residence

"Khun hasn't returned yet... What's he doing at this hour?"

I said and I look at the time on my pocket and let a sigh escape from my lips.

"Oh. AA's coming back. With a red-haired girl."

I look at Ran immediately. A girl ? I go to the door of the house and open it to see them.

The girl was wearing a long gray cape with a darker necklace which looks like at a dog collar encrusted with a blue stone. She's playing on her pocket, while Khun walks by her sides and looks at her with a dead-end face.

"Khun ! Who is that girl ?"

He finally looks at me and grabs the girl by the wrist and pulls her into the house before he can close the door.

"She's (Y/n) (L/n), she's joined our team."
- Hello, everybody!"

Gyetang comes with Dan because of the noise. The girl's voice is particularly loud, but her face says that she probably doesn't know it.

"Oh, is she new? Hi, I'm Dan !"

Dan smiles at (Y/n) and Gyetang introduces himself too.

"What's your position in fight?
- I'm a light-bearer ! I can also be a waves controller sometimes."

Khun immediately turns to her and starts talking with his angry voice.

"A light-bearer ?! Why didn't you tell me that ?! I'm also a light-bearer and there are two of us in that position on the team, that's enough !
- You didn't ask me, you jerk ! Don't yell at me, it's not my fault if you're stupid !!"

She grabs him by the tie and starts screaming, he does the same thing and grabs her by her collar.

"Don't talk to me like that, who's the one wearing a dog collar here ?!
- YOU DUMBASS ! YOU WANT TO FIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW ?!
- WHY NOT, YOU IDIOT ?"

He didn't know that this girl is a light-bearer... Why she is here ?

Rachel's POV (A/n: Bitch cough)

I heard a lot of noise in the last 10 minutes, so I decided to go downstairs to see what was going on, in a wheelchair of course.

I like being treated like a princess, and I don't want it to stop.

When I finally come down, I see Ran on the couch with popcorn, Gyetang has a huge banner he's holding on one side, Dan on the other, with "(Y/N) (L/N) AND KHUN AA FIGHT !!" written on it.

The word "Fight" scares me a little bit, and who is this "(Y/n) (L/n)" ? When I finally turn my head towards the kitchen, I see Khun and a girl with beautiful red hair... Cooking. Wasn't it a fight?

"Novick, what are they doing?  And who's that girl?
- Oh Rachel. She's (Y/n) (L/n), she joined the team. She and Khun started a fight. Khun lost at "song fight", and (Y/n) lost at "dance fight". Ran, Gyetang and Dan are the judges. Now, they're having a "Kitchen fight"..."

What are those idiots doing ? I want to climb the tower, not watch their little kiddie fight.

Suddenly, the new girl screams.

"I FINISHED !
- I'M FINISHED TOO, LITTLE DOG !
- ME, A DOG ? YOU STUPID FOX, I'M BETTER THAN YOU !"

How long can they keep shouting like that seriously?

One week later

(Y/n)'s POV

It's night.

Before I went to sleep, I had a little talk with my roomate, Rachel. She told me about Khun, when they were on the test floor. She told me about Bam, the guy who sacrificed himself for her, and that she also goes name as Michelle Light.

I listen to her, but there's one thing I didn't take seriously.

All her lies.

The team doesn't know that I'm a guide, I told to Khun not to tell them. It's better for seeing who's lying, and who's telling the truth.

I finally close my eyes and remember the week... It was weird, but very funny at the same time. I think I know why the slayer wanted me to protect him... Khun isn't a bad person, even though I've been talking badly about him all this week.

But...

"He's a real fox."

I laugh a little and decide to go out quietly so as not to wake up Rachel who is sleeping in the other bed in the room. I walk until I can be outside and see the grass on the ground before sitting on it. I look at the sky which gets darker and darker as time goes by. I play with one of my red lighthouse and suddenly another, but blue, came out of nowhere. I look behind me to see Khun.

"Aren't you sleeping too?"

He smiles and sits down beside me. I sigh and look at him.

"Yes... It's been a long day with our fight but I can't... I don't feel safe.
- Do you need someone to sleep with you ?"

He laughs and gives me a smirk and I slap him on the back of the head.

"Absolutely not, stupid jerk.
- Hmm... (Y/n) ?
- Yes ?"

(Play the music here !)

I drop to the floor, and he does the same thing.

"Before... I knew a boy who had a strong desire to stay with a girl, but this girl just wanted to see the stars.
- The stars? Is this his girlfriend?
- I used to think the same thing... But he told me it wasn't."

I started tying my hair in a ponytail when Khun started to take off his tie. I looked at him out of the corner of my eyes, curious, and he did the same thing

"Why are you telling me all this?
- I don't know."

He looks at me and puts his hand over my left red eye and he smiles. A smile I hadn't seen before.

"You look just like him. He had yellow eyes like that too... Like gold. I feel I can trust you, just like I trusted him."

I close my eyes and fall asleep after a while for no reason but I realized after he knocked me out for let me sleep. I don't know what really happened after that, I just heard a few words :

"Just like Bam... I'm gonna try to be more careful so... That doesn't happen again, to you this time."

I can feel my body in his arms and after a while I can say he took me back to my bed, because I can smell my bed, but I miss the minty smell of Khun. After a while I finally fall into a deep sleep.

The thing I didn't know is that long before I fell asleep, someone was watching Khun and me in the dark of the night.

She's beautiful, she's got a nice long hair, and I can see from now, that the princess here is gonna be her.

I can feel her tremendous strength, and she's loved.

I hate her.

She looks like that red-haired girl from the test floor.

I wish I could be her.
I can become her, if she dies. Just like Bam.

(Y/n)'s POV

The next day, I woke up on my bed. I got up and took a shower. After that I went to the kitchen, Novick had punished Khun and me for the fight we had yesterday and now I have to make the breakfast with that jerk.

"Did you sleep well ?"

I listen to him a little surprised at this kind act and keep cooking when I tell him back :

"Yes, Rachel talked to me before she went to sleep and you know, you didn't have to knocked me off...
- Maybe she's happy that she has a roommate now. And I did this for you."

There's a little silence for a while before Khun breaks it. I didn't realise that he came up behind me and he came over to whisper in my ear :

"Don't trust her."

Rachel came into the kitchen in her wheelchair and spoke with the team, Khun sighed on my neck and said one last thing before he walked away :

"Even a light can lie."

Suddenly, I had a bad feeling.

At the same time, Apple comes to speak with Khun.

"I think I've found the Devil of the Right Arm."

Yes...  I had a very bad feeling about this.
