Bakugou was never one to back down from a challenge, and neither were you. Being from different schools, you hadn't met the angry pomeranian yet, but you had heard more than enough rumours to know he wasn't a nice kid. So, when you both got sorted in to class 1-A at UA high, you were excited. Finally, someone who not only matched your skill level, but passion for competition. Your friends and his friends knew this was bound to happen. Even Mr. Aizawa was curious to see the events played out. Sure enough, as soon as you met, he vowed he was going to beat everyone in the class, meaning you too. Expecting the normal response, he was shocked but excited when you challenged him back.
