ੈ✩˚⊹ here i am, staring at my screen, a little jittery, a little caffeinated, and definitely overthinking this. but it's time. time to do the thing i've been avoiding for, well, way too long. you see, i've got these drafts — stories that i've poured myself into, sweated over, agonized about, and then tucked away into the digital equivalent of a junk drawer.

they've been sitting there, quietly waiting for me to decide if they're worth anything, if they deserve to be seen. some of them are almost finished, teetering on the edge of being something real, while others are more like half-formed thoughts, the literary equivalent of a doodle on the back of a napkin.

and yet, there's this fear, you know? the fear that comes with exposing yourself, with showing the world the bits of you that aren't polished, that aren't perfect. it's the fear that what you've created, what you've labored over, might not be good enough. or worse, that it might be completely irrelevant, just another echo in the vast noise of the world.

but there's also this voice in my head — the one that whispers when i'm trying to sleep or when I'm three cups of tea deep into a writing session. it's the voice that says, "maybe it's time. maybe they're ready. maybe you're ready."

so, here's what i'm going to do. i'm going to take a deep breath, dig through those digital drawers, and start sharing these drafts. i'm going to open up that messy, tangled process and let you all in on it.

because writing, for all its solitary moments, is also about connection. it's about taking what's inside you and putting it out there, hoping that it finds resonance in someone else.

i don't know what you'll think of these drafts. some of them might make you laugh, others might leave you scratching your head. but that's okay. that's part of the process, part of the journey. and if there's one thing i've learned, it's that the journey is always more interesting when you have people to share it with.

i'm about to open the door to this chaotic little world i've created. and i hope you'll join me in exploring it, flaws and all. because, honestly, what's the point of creating if you're too scared to share it?

but before i dive in and start exposing these drafts, i want to do something a little different. i want to invite you into the process, to make you a part of this strange, exhilarating moment.

here's the thing: i have all these drafts, and each one is a world unto itself — some are nearly whole with notes, others are still finding their shape. but each one carries a little piece of my heart, a little fragment of my mind.

so, i'm asking you — the 3 readers of this rant book — which draft are you most eager to read first?

which story calls out to you, even though you haven't met it yet? i'm curious, so i'll give you a taste of each, a tiny glimpse into these worlds that i've been holding onto.

there's "posing for cars," a story that's been rewritten so many times that i can no longer tell where it began and where it might end. it's a tangled web of characters who are as confused as i am, trying to find their way through a plot that refuses to be neatly tied up. maybe that's the one you want — a journey with no clear destination, but with plenty of detours along the way.

or perhaps you're intrigued by "doomsday," a draft that's raw and unpolished, written in a single, feverish night. last night, actually, i'm not kidding. it's messy, yes, but there's something alive in it, something that makes my heart race just thinking about it. it's the kind of story that could go anywhere, do anything, if only it had the chance.

and then there are others, named but unsorted, each with its own quirks and possibilities. they've been sitting quietly in the shadows, waiting for their moment, and maybe — just maybe — that moment is now.

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ and now, she's stuck at school with half her team, in the women's restroom and while everyone thinks the authorities is coming to save them, when they hit the two week mark wendy is the first to lose hope and # lock in

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ oh and she has two friends with her that she cares deeply about

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ thomas is a go to work in the kitchen man because he freezes up and that in itself causes bad blood between some of the men in the group because they think he's useless

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ but the women in the group luv him so much! he cooks, he helps clean, gather supplies when one of the ladies don't feel like it, plays with the kids, etc.

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ poor thing just doesn't know how to shoot a gun

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ or kill for that matter

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ when the trope is two people but one person is just full of good that the other person doesn't understand why they still tolerate them. like, thomas is literally the brightest and most forgiving person ever and wendy just doesn't understand how or why thomas could ever be around a person like her

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ when the trope is a character who is convinced they are too tainted with darkness to be saved but then they are saved by the one person who is their truth, their light and their love

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ when the trope is grumpy x sunshine and as soon as grumpy starts to be happy, sunshine dies ❨ don't worry, still debating this one ❩

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ prelude is set right when the outbreak hits, but the story will start beginning of season 1, and i will gradually exploit their story of when wendy was stuck in the school and thomas was holed up in rick's home

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ wendy and thomas will meet in season 3, so there's a long way to go

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ because i love a good slow burn

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ nathan is still, oh my god, in love with her even after everything she's done.

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ and you bet your ass mike and his lil gang tell him how stupid he is

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ and guess what he doesn't care!

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ will is nathan's favorite, which is funny because it should technically be mike since that's his brother, but the same way will is nathan's favorite nathan is also will's favorite, but don't tell jonathan

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ the most common thing people know about gumihos are they are a fox like spirit, they have nine tails, and they eat men's hearts for dinner

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ misoo goes to school on the reservation, so immediately she's more into the tribal lore

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ one night, as she's asleep, she finds herself walking to her parents bedroom, and if we connect the dots .... yall she kills her father but she has no recollection but her mother KNOWS

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ so when the investigation starts they rule it murder, and they don't even look at misoo bc like ... why?

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ but the pack thinks it was one of the cold ones

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ anyways, of course, misoo finds out what she is but i want to take a spin on the folklore, because everyone says that gumiho's can revert back to being human if they don't eat a man's heart for 1000 days, essentially starving, but what if i change it to a gumiho cannot show their true form for 1000 days

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ so basically, i have this image in my head of a beautiful woman, she has nine tails, fox like ears, bright purple eyes, and like a glowing white aura around her

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ but of course, because of bitchass bella she will eventually have to turn into it, which crushes her, because she doesn't want to be immortal, and she definitely doesn't want to eat men's hearts

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ here's the kicker too, yall. each of her tails is an ancestor who had the gumiho gene, dating back centuries. and on top of that, they speak to her in her mind; which makes her go fucking crazy

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ but on top of that, each ancestor has a different ability that all channel through her when she needs it the most

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ when the trope is a character coming up with an intricate plan to get them all out of the situation but everyone overlooks a small detail that will result in the character never making it out

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ when the trope is the big, scary, powerful leader of the big, scary, powerful kingdom actually being the most genuine and caring person who would do anything to save their people and the scariness is just a front to protect them

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ when the trope is the character lives through hell and back just to die as they're about to get their happy ending

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ fans can be utterly delusional and think that they legitimately have a chance with their idols. also the fact that some see idols as a commodity rather than a separate human with their own lives

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ while this is also a take on racism

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ hari's relationship with xolo sparks outrage not just because she's dating, but because she's dating a foreigner

ㅤ۪ーㅤ★ highlighting xenophobia and racial bias in the community
