I'M GLAD YOU'RE HERE!
EVERYONE AT MCKINLEY WAS UPSET BY THE NEWS OF DAVE KAROFSKY'S SUICIDE ATTEMPT. Despite everything that had happened between him and the glee club, they'd all known that Dave had been trying to change for the better so the news that his new school had outed him and bullied him into feeling this way was heartbreaking. He may've been a bully at one point in his life, but that didn't mean he didn't need someone to support him.
Gathering in the auditorium, Mr Schue had the glee club sit on the floor in a circle as he held out a single jar of peanut butter and one spoon. Finally taking it upon herself to speak up, Mercedes was the one to say out loud what they were all wondering, "Mr Schue, why do you have a jar of peanut butter and one spoon?"
"Yeah, there's sixteen of us here and I only feel comfortable sharing a spoon with about half of you." Sugar commented, throwing pointed looks around the circle.
"Well it's come to my attention that our good friend Rory Flanagan has never tasted peanut butter." Mr Schue announced through a light chuckle, standing up with the peanut butter and handing him the jar and the spoon as the glee club's mouths fell open.
"Dude." Tessa breathed out in shock, turning to face the boy sat besides her as Rory just shrugged in reply.
Taking the spoon and taking a scoop of peanut butter, Rory stuck it into his mouth as everyone watched on, full of expectation. His mouth bending up into a smile, Rory seemed delighted and wasn't afraid to help himself to another spoonful, "oh my god, this is like the best thing I've ever had." He exclaimed before frowning towards Tessa and Sam, "you're telling me you guys have never thought of giving me this? We spent Christmas together."
Holding his hands up in surrender, Sam let out a small laugh, "we thought you'd had peanut butter before dude."
Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces, Kurt couldn't help but feel down, "Mr Schuester, whilst this is all incredibly moving, it's kind of been an emotional week for some of us."
"Yeah Mr Schue, what's the point of this?" Finn asked, curiously.
"The point is that Rory just had a brand new experience — something as simple as peanut butter." Mr Schue explained, "you guys are young. I want you to promise me that no matter how depressed you get, no matter how hopeless or alone you feel, you'll try your best to imagine all the amazing experiences you have ahead of you. I want you to think of one of those things your looking forward to right now. Big things."
Clearing his throat, Sam spoke up first, a smile coming to his face, "someday, I wanna earn enough money to buy my folks a new place so they never have to go through losing their home again."
"I'm most looking forward to meeting Rachel Berry's children." Mercedes spoke up next, with a quick wink Rachel's way as she managed to get a laugh from her friends.
"I want to be there to see my kids first steps." Artie told them with the smile growing on his face.
"I want to be there to see Sex in the City Part Three." Sugar said with a beaming smile on her face as Mr Schue let out an amused laugh, hinting that wasn't exactly what he was hoping for.
"I'm sort of embarrassed to admit it, but I really do want to graduate high school." Puck admitted, looking to the floor quietly.
"I'm gonna petition the army to change my dads dishonorable discharge to an honorable one." Finn said with a determined smile.
"I'm looking forward to graduating from Yale at the top of my class." Quinn beamed excitedly.
"I'm looking forward to being the cool senior everyone loves." Tessa chuckled lightly, a playful grin appearing on her face as Sam squeezed her hand with a dramatic roll of his eyes.
"I'm looking forward to the day my grandmother loves me again." Santana sighed, sadly.
"I want Lord Tubbington to kick his ecstasy addiction." Brittany piped up quickly, to take the attention away from Santana.
"I'm looking forward to marriage equality in all fifty states." Blaine added on through a grin.
"I'm looking forward to the first time i dance at Carnegie Hall." Mike said, proudly as Tessa and Brittany cheered loudly for him, both of them knowing how much he deserved it from all the times they'd spend in the dance studio together.
"I just want a song." Tina admitted with a gentle laugh.
"I'm looking forward to watching my dad make a difference in Congress." Kurt pitched in with a proud grin.
"I'm looking forward to being friends with all of you for the rest of my life." Rachel said, sentimentally, bringing the attention to herself as she smile round at all the people she was now proudly able to call her friends.
Coming full circle, Rory held up his scoop of peanut butter than he'd been snacking on and finished off with a wide smile on his face, "I know this sounds silly, and the peanut butter is amazing Mr Schue, but do you know what I'm looking forward to? Winning at Regionals."

THE NEW DIRECTIONS WERE GETTING READY TO GO OUT ON THE REGIONALS STAGE. After hearing the Golden Goblets and the Warblers perform, it was almost their turn to sing and apparently only Puck was starting to feel the pressure from their performances.
"Those Golden Goblets madrigal singers were way better than I thought they would be." He voiced his concern as Brittany was quick to scoff in reply, "are you high? I couldn't hear their instruments at all."
Chuckling lightly, Tessa made her way over to where Sam was sat fixing his hair in the mirror and wrapped her arms around his neck, placing a kiss to the top of his head before resting her chin on his shoulder, "no White Chocolate body rolls to save us from the Golden Goblets this time?" She pouted sadly, thinking back to Sectionals, when they'd just gotten Sam back at Mckinley.
Standing up from his seat, Sam took her hands in his and shook his head, "not this time. It's a shame right? They totally saved Sectionals."
"Totally." Tessa agreed with a firm nod of her head, "we could probably sneak one in, we're at the back anyway." Letting out a small laugh, she felt her cheeks heat up slightly, "i don't think i told you how glad I was that Finn and Rachel brought you back for Sectionals."
Squeezing her hand, Sam gave her a sweet kiss on the nose, "I'm glad they brought me back too, because now I have you."
Pouting happily, Tessa found her eyebrows furrowing together as a thought came to her mind, "although I still can't really believe that Finn Hudson and Rachel Berry saw you stripping before I did."
"I could give you a show if you like." Sam whispered with a wiggle of his eyebrows.
"I'd love that... later." She giggled as she saw Sam's eyes light up with excitement.
Bouncing over as Mr Schue began gathering the show circle, Sam and Tessa beamed around the circle at all of their friends, shaking away their nerves as the pep talks began. Pointing a hand Finn's way, Mr Schue gave him an approving smile, "Finn, you wanted to start us off?"
Nodding nervously, Finn took Rachel's hand in his, the two of them taking a small step forward to announce their news, "yeah, I know it's kind of short notice, but after the competition, Rachel and I are going to get married at the Justice of the Peace at the Lima Municipal Centre."
Eyes flickering round the circle, Rachel was spurred on by a few excited glances and light cheers of celebration, trying not to focus on the guilty disappointment as
on others faces, "there will be some light refreshments afterwards. My dads and I were rolling finger sandwiches all night long."
"With everything that's happened lately, we thought a lot about what Mr Schue said." Finn explained, "we didn't want wait anymore, we want to live every day as if it's out last. So we wanna thank a lot of you guys who were supportive of our decision to get married."
"And for those of you who maybe weren't the biggest fan of our impending nuptials, we thank you also. So after we win, we would really love it if you would all come to our wedding." Rachel smiled softly, glancing around the circle to see a few certain nods.
Admittedly just excited to go to a wedding, Tessa bounced up in her place as Mr Schue called show circle, giving out his last words of encouragement before they made their way onto the stage with full confidence in themselves.

A WIN AT REGIONALS MEANT IT WAS TIME FOR THE WEDDING. Rushing down the halls, Sam had made it his mission to quickly catch up to Tessa as he noticed her running towards the waiting room with her bouquet.
"What's the rush?" He teased lightly, making a point to slip his hand into hers.
Delighted to see him, Tessa flashed a bright smile this way and held up her bouquet, "I forgot my bouquet, my grandad just dropped it off. Didn't want bridezilla to murder me."
Taking the chance to get a good look at her bridesmaids dress, Sam was quick to compliment her, "you look lovely, by the way."
"You look lovely too." Tessa smiled shyly.
Stopping in his place and holding out his tie, Sam let out a nervous laugh as he rubbed the back of his neck, "could you help me out? Apparently I'm still not great at ties."
Nodding fondly, Tessa pushed herself up onto her toes lightly and carefully tied the tie for him, placing a kiss to his lips as she finished, "there. Now you look totally awesome."
Gazing down at her with the same dopey look as when she'd first tied his tie for him for Burt and Carole's wedding, Sam was full of random questions, "do they have a dance floor? Do we get to dance?"
"Rachel wanted simple and elegant, I don't think dance floors come under simple and elegant." Tessa pouted, "but we'll make our own dance floor. Anywhere's a dance floor if your dancing, right?"
"Totally." Sam grinned, swinging her hand backwards and forwards in his, "if we get married some day we're having a dance floor."
Slightly taken aback at the mentioning of them getting married, Tessa looked up to him with a gentle smile and squeezed his hand, "totally." She whispered, as they made their way into the waiting room where everyone was lounging around waiting for Quinn, who'd decided to be a bridesmaids after all.
Looking amongst each other as Rachel paced the floor and the time ticked on by, Santana let out a loud huff, feeling the need to speak up, "face it, Quinn's not coming."
"She said she'd be here, okay?" Rachel protested, desperately, "I don't want to start without her."
As Finn burst into the room a round of gasps echoed across the room with Mercedes pointing a warning finger towards the door, "Finn, out!"
Waving her off casually, Finn was quick to justify himself, "I've already seen her."
"But that'a bad luck." Tina protested, with eyebrows furrowed in worry as Rachel just waved it off also.
"Rachel we've gotta go or we'll lose out spot." Finn told her.
"Could we please wait just a couple more minutes, for Quinn? Please." Rachel begged, wanting nothing more than to have Quinn at her wedding.
Shrugging his shoulders apologetically, Finn had to shake his head, "it's now or never."
Watching intently as Rachel had to make her decision, the group were startled when a phone rang and Mercedes sprung to answer it, her face lighting up as she read who was calling her, "it's Quinn!" She yelled excitedly, though as the call continued, her face visibly fell into a mixture of shock and sadness, staying practically speechless until the phone was hung up.
Concerned by her silence, Rachel was persistent for answers, "what's going on? Where is she?"
"That was Quinn's mom." Mercedes told her quietly, "Quinn's just been involved in a car accident."
happy birthday naya ❤️ we love you forever, beautiful angel ❤️
