No matter how much you tried, you couldn't seem to show Hinata that you liked him more than a friend. The whole team was aware, but whether he refused to believe it was true, or was simply just too oblivious, he never commented on anything. You always went out of your way for him, even while being one of the teams student-managers. You always complemented his hits, filled his water bottle before everyone else's (even when it got on Tanaka's nerves) and tried to be the most obvious you could be. After that simply wasn't working you tried to just gave up, making the whole team stand behind you and give you words of encouragement to keep trying. Even Kageyama was convinced Hinata was just dumb, but he already considered the fact. You were so head over heels for the red head. You remember the first day he ever acknowledged your praise, a simple thumbs up. But that thumbs up was progress towards a bigger goal and left your heart racing. Still, sometimes you had to complain to Suga.
