"Come on, eat something." Demetri tells Miguel, who sat with a sandwich in his hands, "It'll make you feel better."

"I told you I'm not hungry, man." Miguel sighed.

"I still think you're overreacting."

"That's what I told him!" Laken called out, throwing her hands above her head.

"I'm not overreacting, dude." Miguel shakes his head, "I know what I saw."

"Alright, so you saw her eating dinner with some chode." Hawk says, right before kicking Bert in the face, sending the poor kid to the grassy ground. "It's probably just her brother or something."

"No, dude. Brothers don't look at their sisters like that." Miguel shrugged his shoulders, turning his head to look at Hawk, who now leaned against the back of the bench.

"Depends on what part of the country you're in." Demetri says, causing a giggle to leave Laken's' lips as she begins to hum the tune of "Sweet Home Alabama" under her breath, earning an amused look from the group.

"Look, I just don't want what happened to Sensei to happen to me."

"Alright, so you go over to this kid and beat his ass so he doesn't have the chance."

"Don't listen to Eli."

"It's Hawk."

"Yeah, whatever." Demetri scoffed, "The fact is, Sam's given you no reason not to trust her."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

"Yeah."

"Oh! That little bitch!" Aisha's voice breaks Laken out of her comfortable state, the pink haired girl sitting up and pushing her sunglasses to the top of her head.

"What?" Miguel turns to her.

"You know that video I posted of me breaking that board?" Aisha asked them.

"Yeah?"

"Look what Yasmine commented." Aisha showed the boys her phone before letting Laken see it.

"Oh, shit."

"I gotta go something."

"Alright, how about we kidnap her and have my boy Rico tattoo "bitch" on her face?" Hawk has a smirk on his face at his idea.

Demetri turns to look at him, "Calm down, Hawk."

"Alright, I hear how you're saying it, and I don't like it."

"Wait, I got an idea." Laken smirked as she pulled her phone out of her back pocket, unlocking her phone with her password which was '020402'. Opening up Snapchat, she turns her phone so that Aisha and the boys could see, "This is on her story, but Moon told me about it. Yasmine is throwing a party tonight at the canyon."

"Yasmine's throwing a birthday party at the canyon later?" Miguel asked.

"Not anymore." Laken smirked as she stands up, "Because we're gonna throw one before she even has the chance."

"I still don't understand how we're gonna buy alcohol."ย  Demetri says before across the isle he and Laken were standing at.

Hawk scoffs as he walks by, "Oh please. Never underestimate the power . . . of the Hawk." He opens the cooler to grab a case of beer.

"I really hate that name." Laken rolled her eyes at her cousin, pulling out her phone to text her older brother back.

"Whatever you say, Lakie." He smirked as she lets out a groan at the nickname she had gotten from their grandmother, sitting the beer on the counter, "Sup. Oh, did you catch the game last night? See Puig with the walk-off?"

"Nah, man, but I heard he flipped the bat to the moon." The worker, wearing a dodger's t-shirt, shakes his head.

"Yeah, I was at the bar last night with my buddies form work. Whole place went wild." He smirked.

Laken scrunches her nose, "If he actually falls for that, I'm gonna drowned myself in my swimming pool."

"I wanted to go, but my girlfriend dragged me to some lame-ass play."

"Bitches will be bitches."

"Yeah."

"So, how much it gonna cost?" Hawk asked.

"Gotta check your ID first."

Hawk chuckled, "I'm flattered. Do you really think I'm underage? That's my frickin' kid right there." He points back to Bert.

"I fell sorry for him." Laken snorted.

"Yeah, I still need to see it. It's required by law."

"Oh yeah, for sure. Just upholding the law." He pulls out his fake ID, showing it to the worker. "It's all good."

The worker takes the ID from his hand, glancing at it as he looks up at Hawk, "Whatever."

Laken's jaw drops in disbelief as Hawk looks back at them with a smug look on his face, "He can't be that dumb."

"Uh, how about eight bottles of that vodka right there?"

"What do you guys think you are doing?"

The teens look at each other wide eyed, except for Laken who turned to her mom with a shrug, "We're throwing a party at the Canyon before Yasmine gets there. Payback for making fun of a video Aisha posted on Instagram."

Alex squints her eyes as she looks at her teenage daughter, "Unsupervised?"

"Yeah."

"A fire and teenagers?"

"Yes."

"Underage drinking?" Alex questioned, causing the teens behind her daughter to freeze.

Laken shrugged a shoulder, hands in the back pockets of her blue jean shorts, "Yep."

Miguel opens his mouth to try and defend themselves from the older brother woman, a shocked expression on his face as Laken was telling her lawyer mother that they would be throwing a party, unsupervised with alcohol.

"Okay, don't come home pregnant."

"Promise!"

"Dude, your mom didn't care!" Miguel is shocked still at the group of teens walk out of the house.

"She and my dad were once teenagers. And they went through the same thing with Silas." Laken shrugged, opening the trunk of her car so they could put the ice chest inside. "They don't care as long as I don't come home pregnant."

"But . . . aren't you a virgin?" Aisha looks at the girl in confusion.

Laken laughed, covering her mouth with her hand, "Yeah . . . No, I'm not a virgin. Besides, I'm on birth control anyway, so . . . . ,"

"Wait, when did you . . . ,"

"Beginning of the summer, right after my birthday." She shrugged as they all piled into her car, "Lost it to a friend of mine. Anyway! Enough about my sex life-,"

"Thank god." Hawk falls back against the passenger seat in relief.

"-we have a party to get to."

"Still nothing?" The Callahan girl asked, a frown on her face.

Miguel shakes his head, putting his phone into his pocket, "Nope."

"Maybe her phone died." Aisha tries to make up an excuse for what used to be her best friend.

"If her phone had died, they wouldn't have delivered." Laken shook her head, "Miguel, don't worry about it. Just drink a beer, let loose, have some fun."

"Laken! Come play beer pong!"

"Coming!" The girl called over her shoulder to a group of people that she knew. "Do what I said. Just let loose and have a good fucking time, dude. Talk to Sam at school tomorrow, okay? I'l see you guys later. Dallas! I'm gonna kick your ass as always!"

"Laken's right." Aisha smirked, "Have a fun time."

"Are you good?" Aisha stands behind her, red solo cup in her hand.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Aisha." Miguel taps her on the shoulder, "Thanks."

"Alright."

"I'm going to follow him and make sure that his ass doesn't end up face first in the fire." Laken sighed, smiling at Aisha and making her way after Miguel. "Miguel, I got little legs! Slow down!"

"I don't need a babysitter, Laken!" Miguel calls over his shoulder before his eyes lock on Sam coming down the hill with the guy he had caught over at her house the night before. "What the hell?"

"Fuck my life." Laken groaned, throwing her head back as she quickly followed after Miguel, "Miguel, you're drunk! You don't need to do this now!"

Miguel comes to a stop in front of Sam, "Hey! Who's this guy?"

Robby glances next to Miguel where Laken was standing, tugging on the boy's arm to get him to back up from the two.

"Hey, I . . . ,"

"Wait, this is . . . this is your boyfriend?" Robby asked, anger coursing through his veins at the thought of Miguel and his father standing outside the dojo a couple of days ago.

"Yeah." Sam says before turning to her boyfriend. "Miguel, relax. This is Robby. He works with my dad."

"Oh, with your dad." Miguel nods his head, "Okay, that makes a lot of sense."

"Miguel, stop it." Laken hisses, trying to calm the drunk teenager down.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Sam asked him. "Wait. Have you been drinking? You let him drink?"

Laken turns to Sam, rolling her eyes, "I'm not his keeper. Everyone is drinking, even Aisha."

"La . . . ," Robby goes to say, but Laken shoots a look in his direction that has him closing him mouth.

"No, no, no. You don't get to turn this on me." Miguel laughs, "I texted and called you all day, and you couldn't answer me back once?"

"No, I literally couldn't. My mom took my phone." Sam tries to reason with the boy standing in front of him.

"Oh, that's so convenient."

"Miguel, stop it! Right now!" Laken moves to stand in front of the boy, a gasp leaving her lips as she's harshly shoved to the ground. "What the hell?!"

"Laken!" Robby quickly hands the blanket tucked under his arm to Sam as he crouches down to Laken's level, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Just . . . help me up, please." Laken sighed, grabbing onto Robby's hands as he helped her up from the ground. She mumbles curse words under her breath as she wipes the dirt from off of her ass.

"Seriously, dude?" Robby glares in Miguel's direction, his protective side for Laken coming out.

"Get out of here!"

"Miguel, stop it!" Sam yells at her boyfriend, "Laken, are you okay?"

"I'm okay!"

Robby picks himself up from the ground this time, "Put your hands on me all you want, but don't ever touch her. Seriously, you wanna try that again?"

"Try it again, huh?" Miguel goes to swing his arm at Robby but ends up punching Sam in the face instead. "Sam, I'm sorry."

"God, you asshole!" Sam exclaimed before she's turning around on the heels of her feet and walking away.

"Sam!" Robby calls after the LaRusso girl, turning his body towards Laken, "Are you gonna be okay?"

"I'm gonna find the others that I came with and see if they want a ride home." Laken sighed, running a hand through her long hair. "I'm over this night."

"Text me when you get home safe, please." Robby sighed, pressing a kiss to the side of her head before he's following in the direction that Sam had gone in.

"You kno-,"

"Don't even talk to me." Laken holds a hand up, instantly getting Miguel to stop talking, "I am so over this night, this day, this whole freaking year! Find your own damn way home."

"Laken! I'm sorry!" Miguel calls after the blonde, "Laken!"

"Sam was right! You are an asshole!" Laken calls over her shoulder before going to where all of her friends and Moon were standing, "Hey, I'm about to head out."

"What? Why?" Hawk looks at his cousin in confusion.

"Well for starters, I need to go home and clean my hands." She holds her hands up to show them the scraps on the palms of her hands, blood slightly dripping from one of them.

"What the hell happened?" He hands his drink to Demetri, instantly grabbing his cousin's hands and trying to stop the bleeding. "Laken, what the hell?"

"Miguel saw Sam with the guy from the other night, who works for her dad. I tried to get him to leave, and he fucking shoved me to the ground right before punching Sam in the face." Laken sighed, "I'm just . . . I'm ready to go home. Maybe call my brother. So, does anybody want a ride home?"

"I'll go with you." Demetri steps forward, "This isn't really my type of scene anyway."

"I need a ride anyway. Mom will kill me if I don't get him before curfew." Hawk sighed, Aisha agreeing with him.

"I . . . I actually came with Yasmine, and she's gone." Moon sighed.

Laken smiles, "I'll give you a ride home too, don't worry."

"My dad found out I've been learning Karate from Mr. LaRusso. He . . . He fired me and told me to never come back again." Robby looks at his best friend sadly, hands in his pockets, "And mom ran off with one of her boyfriends, and I . . . I don't want to be alone so I was hoping that I could stay here. Like before we were fighting."

The girl stares at him for a moment, before opening her arms so that the boy would hug her, wrapping the blanket around him also, "Of course. You don't ever have to ask, just come over."

"I didn't think I had that option anymore." A sad chuckle left his lips.

"You always have that option." A new voice rang out and the two teenagers turn to find her dad leaned against the wall, arms crossed over his chest. "Both of you. Get some sleep."

"Thank you, Mr. Callahan." Robby smiles gently at the man.

"Don't worry about it, kid. Our home is your home."
