- MILES MORALES has only been Spiderman for about a year and already, he was wondering when could he can use his vacation days. When he was bit by that spider, everything changed in his life. From having a new identity, to working with the original Spider-Man, Peter Parker, he barely had time for high school. Hell, he barely had time to actually be a teenager. Serious, he just turned 16 and he almost missed his birthday party because Rhino wanted to break Harlem in half due to his almost prison break. AGAIN! Like last Christmas didn't mean anything to him.

But in the midst of all of the chaos and uncertainty, Miles did have some good things happening to him. Like he and Peter met more people like them, they were from other universes, but you get the point. They became good friends and would often help each other out whenever they needed to. Peter graduated College that same year and became a newspaper photographer. Miles finally got an A+ in Spanish ( Rio was super happy about that and Jeff didn't have to worry about losing a son ) and Brooklyn was a bit safer than before.

- VALENTINA GONZALEZ worked at her family's flower shop near the heart of downtown Brooklyn. She comes from a Puerto Rican/African/Dominican background. Her mom, Althea Gonzalez is a black and dominican woman who is as tough as any New Yorker can be. Her father, Ricardo Gonzalez came from Puerto Rican immigrants who moved to the big apple when he was only two years old, with extended family, and the flower shop has been in his family for ages. Which is why he kept it up and running even when his parents moved back to San Juan.

On the outside, they seemed like a normal family. Just a family of three who lived in the deepest part of Brooklyn, trying to make a living honestly. But on the inside, the small and close knit family kept a secret. Valentina is a mutant. She was born with the powers of floral/plant manipulation and generation. Her parents discovered this when she was only a baby. Whenever she would laugh or smile, little sunflowers would bloom in places that they didn't belong. When she would cry or was cranky, their plants would die or start to whither. Althea, Ricardo and their family believed that she was blessed with a gift but with how the world would treat mutants, everyone agreed to keep her gift a secret. Allowing Valentina to live a normal life. Or as normal as she could be.

And everything was fine. That is, until Miles quite literally swings into her life. She was caught in the middle of a burglary when she was alone in the shop one day and Miles happened to save her. ( as Spider-Man, of course. ).

Now Miles was a rational and logical young man. He didn't believe in love at first sight. That is, until he saw Valentina and suddenly, his spidey sense went haywire. Like completely bonkers. It made him nervous but so addicted to the feeling that he fell in love with her right then and there.

But what he didn't know was that Valentina made red roses blossom under the cash register as a blush spread across her deep golden skin. She thought the awkward hero was cute, despite not ever seeing his face.

This starting the two having a secret friendship. All the while, Miles finds out that Valentina is his new neighbor who lives in the apartment building right next to his. Allowing him to get close to her without her knowing that he is Spider-Man.

When two people who are struggling to hide their secret abilities, it could only lead to more chaotic situations. But don't worry, they've got this. At least they hope they do.

⋮✧. AUTHOR'S MESSAGE, hey! Wassup wassup wassuuuup! Ever since I watched Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse, Spider-Man has become my whole personality now. ( Miguel and I are married, sorry y'all ) and this idea has been festering in my mind for years now. It won't really follow the canon events with the mcu movies but it will have some elements involved in it. This is a alternate universe/timeline so please do not be that person who comments "that didn't happened" or "ummm you got that wrong"

It's an original story! That means what I say, goes. Don't like it? Don't read it.
