Chapter 2 ~ Claimed!

Note: Okay, so before I start this chapter, I have to thank you guys for even reading it cause I honestly didn't think it would be a popular book. You guys are seriously the best ^_^

"Park! Come on, Parker, wake up!" Sam said from above me, jarring me awake with a shake of his hand.

I groaned and leaned away from him, pulling up the old blanket I'd found in the floorboard up over my head.

"Sorry, the Parker you're trying to reach is still asleep right now. Leave a message at the beep," I mumbled groggily, "Beeeeeep,"

Suddenly, hands grabbed me from beneath my arms and I was unceremoniously yanked from the car then dumped on the hard ground. I glared up into Dean's green eyes, a triumphant grin plastered on his face.

"Wakey-wakey, short-stack," he teased and I shot him a dirty look as Sam helped me up.

"Dirtbag!" I hissed, shoving past him.

He chuckled from behind me as I threw the blanket back into the car before slamming the door shut. Glancing ahead of me, a small run-down hotel loomed before us. I cringed and wrinkled my nose.

"Seriously?" I asked, "This is the best you could do?"

A few guys who looked like thugs milled about out front and I pulled my tattered denim jacket closer to my body.

"Can't we just sleep in the car?" I muttered, pursing my lips indifferently as they stared.

Sam sighed from beside me and slinging an arm across my shoulder, led me towards the lobby.

"It's just one for night," he told me and I leaned into him for security as we passed by the thugs.

"That's what you said in Chicago...and then we got abducted by a-" I started but Sam shushed me.

"We all remember," Dean grumbled and I shrugged as the stale lobby air hit my face.

I sighed as I flopped down into a rickety wooden chair by the door.

"Just reminding you." I faked a smile briefly before picking up a random Spanish magazine from the coffee table opposite me.

As Dean and Sam paid for the room, I flipped through the pages absentmindedly. A small breeze blew past my legs out of the broken-down A/C and I bit my lip as my eyes scanned the large pictures. As I turned the page, I grinned down at it.

"Oooh, William Levy..." I smirked as the muscular blond telenovela star smiled out at me from the glossy page, "Why can't all guys look like you?"

"Because the world is fair and there's me," Dean suddenly piped up, snatching the magazine from my hands.

I glared daggers at him and followed them out the door. When we got to our room, I immediately ran inside and belly-flopped on the first bed I came to.

"CLAIMED!" I shrieked, snuggling deeper into the soft pillows.

Sam smiled but Dean just scowled at me. Whatever. Who needs him anyway?
