GRACE AND KLAUS WALK INTO HAYLEYS BEDROOM, they notice the woman with her back turned to them. The plan with Finn didn't exactly go to plan, Elijah had blown up the house with him inside but at least Hope was safe with Camille when it happened. But it didn't make Hayley feel much better, even though they had temporarily got rid of Finn and stopped him from getting to Hope.
"What do you think you're doing?" Klaus asks her as he notices the woman was quickly packing a bag. Hayley looks over at her.
"Well, Elijah said they're on the road. So I'm gonna go to them and get my daughter." Hayley replies, going to move past him but Klaus stops her. "Do not tell me that it's not safe. I'll tell you what's not safe, blowing up a house just to keep your evil brother from finding her." She states, angry by what Elijah did. Klaus sighs as he holds his hands up in defense.
"We will deal with Finn." He assures her and Hayley scoffs, shaking her head.
"And then what?" She asks as she seriously didn't understand what they were truly going to do. "Everytime you kill him he's just gonna jump into another body." Hayley points out and Klaus clenches his jaw.
"We tried running, we tried hiding. Neither will work." Klaus states, they couldnt do any of it but they could stay where they were.
"So, what's your bright idea?" Hayley asks as she crossed her arms against her chest.
"As it happens, I'm working on a plan as we speak, one which will be bolstered greatly if you just calm down and keep your eye on the prize-" Klaus says but Hayley cuts him off, glaring at the man in front of her.
"Do not manage me. I have every right-"
"Hayley, you're getting married today. An act which will seal the loyalty of all the wolves that answer to Finn. Exactly why I brought Grace here with me." Klaus states as he gestured to the girl who was sitting quietly on the bed. "You will be queen to an army. And a queen does not run." He points out as he takes the bag out of her hand, placing it down. Hayley sighs as she bites the inside of her cheek.
"Are we done?" Grace asks as she flickers her eyes between them. When she gets no response, she claps her hands, standing up. "Good, cause that was a little much. No offense, darling." She states as she taps Klaus on the cheek. He just raises an eyebrow at her. "Now, shoo." She says as she waves her hands.
"I see that I am no longer wanted here." Klaus jokes with amusement in his eyes. Grace only stared at him, her hands on her hips. "Not even a goodbye kiss, love?" He asks her and Grace rolls her eyes playfully.
"So high maintenance." Grace mumbles as she leans in, pressing a kiss to his lips. Once she pulls away, she presses against his chest. "Now, go." She tells him and he only smiles before leaving the girls alone. Hayley groans as she turns to her wardrobe.
"God, I don't even have anything to wear." She mumbles as she brings her hands up to her hair. Grace smiles as she shakes her head, this is what she gets for doing a wedding on such a whim.
"Then we'll ask Rebekah if she's got anything." Grace admits, knowing the woman has to have a thousand dresses by now. "Everything is going to be fine, sugar." She assures the woman, not wanting Hayley to freak out too much. Hayley frowns though, looking at Grace.
"I'm making the right decision.." Hayley trails off, as if trying to convince herself.
"Hayley." Grace starts as she takes her hands, squeezing them. "I know you're doing this for the pack. But is there also some part of you that maybe wants to marry Jackson?" She asks, she honestly didn't believe that Hayley was only doing it for the wolves.
"He's always seen me for me." Hayley states as she thinks about how Jackson has treated her. "He's never wanted me to be something else, he's never pushed me aside. He always lets me make my own decisions. I think I do really have feelings for him." She says and Grace nods her head. It was frustrating in a sense because when she marries Jackson, she cannot have any kind of relations with Elijah. She has to keep to her vows. Even though, you should do that anyways even if you're not doing some mystical ceremony.
"But Elijah is clouding your judgement." Grace replies, it's not like she can just get rid of the feelings for Elijah, it wasnt that easy.
"I can't ignore what I feel." Hayley admits as she looks down at her hands. Grace sighs as she puts her hands on the girls arms.
"Sweetheart, it's your life and it's your heart. Only you can decide what to do with it."
TRYING TO HOLD ANOTHER DRESS TO HAYLEY'S BODY, Grace could tell that she was getting annoyed by all of it. But mainly because they couldn't find a dress that was exactly right for a wedding. "Stop! This is a nightmare." Hayley admits as she throws another dress back on the hook. Grace sighs as she places her hands on her hips.
"It'll be fine." She assures the girl as they were going to make everything perfect. "You should wear your hair down for the ceremony." Grace states as she moves her hand to the woman's hair. Hayley glares as she hits her hand.
"Would you get off of me?" Grace laughs as she smirks at the girl before noticing the original by the door.
"All right, bad news first." Rebekah states as she walks into the room, catching both of their attention. "I will have to miss your nuptials. Kol has a bit of a life and death matter he needs help dealing with." She explains and Hayley frowns as she looks at the girl.
"Anything I can do Rebekah?" Hayley asks her but Rebekah shakes her head.
"It's witch business, which now seems to be my thing." Rebekah admits with a small smile on her face. "Besides you have enough to deal with." She points out, gesturing around the room. "On that note." Rebekah goes out of the room, before returning a moment later with a dress in her hands.ย "Now, it's white, which won't fool anyone, but you can't get married in skinny jeans and combat boots." She states and Hayley gasps as she sees the dress.
"Oh, Rebekah. Thank you." She says as she looks at the dress, taking the dress in her hands as Rebekah still holds it. "Oh, it's beautiful." Hayley admits.
"Well, I happen to be the only woman alive who's collected wedding dresses in five different centuries. Never made it down the aisle of course." Rebekah states as she walks over to them, handing the dress to Hayley.
"Well, you know, it's not too late. From what I understand, Marcel is still single." Hayley replies as she turns to the mirror in order to look at the dress as she held it to her body. "Have you told him yet that you're... You?" She asks as she turns her head back to Rebekah who let's out a sigh.
"I thought I'd hold on that for the moment. Only complicates matters, and I'm not exactly sure how long this is going to last." She admits as she gestures at herself. Hayley nods her head.
"Right."
"Hayley, I wanted to say... You may be marrying Jackson Kenner of the boozy backwater Kenner's. But you're still one of us, a mikaelson. Always will be." Rebekah tells her as she grabs the girls hand, giving it a squeeze.
"God, that would be such a nice compliment if it didn't link me to so many homicidal lunatics." Hayley teases and Rebekah smiles, rolling her eyes.
"Grace will soon be a mikaelson as well." Rebekah points out and Graces eyes widen as she almost lost her breath, her heart skipping a beat.
"What?" Grace asks, her gaze on Rebekah. But the woman didn't think she said anything out of order, even though Grace looked like she was gonna pass out.
"Assuming you and Nik, fight through the long haul." Rebekah states and Grace blinks for a few times before clearing her throat, rubbing the back of her neck.
"I'm not getting married tomorrow, Rebekah. Who says we are even gonna get married?"ย She questions as she hadn't even really thought about it herself, let alone with Klaus.
"Bloody hell, I'm not down on my knee with an engagment ring, now am I?" Rebekah asks with a roll of her eyes.ย "I was simply saying it because you're with Nik." She says, it was just because she's dating Klaus. Obviously she would believe her brother and Grace would make it to marriage.
"I think you better go before you completely freeze her and she's not able to help me get ready." Hayley tells Rebekah who shakes her head with a laugh before leaving the room. Hayley looks toward grace who was still trying to wrap her head around what Rebekah had said. "So?" She asks, getting grace out of her thoughts. Grace turns to her, looking over the dress that Hayley had pressed to her body
"It's a beautiful dress." Grace admits as she couldn't be mad at it. Sure, it was simple but honestly, she'd rather that than over the top.
"Now, find something bridesmaidy to wear." Hayley states and Grace rolls her eyes playfully at the woman. She lets out a laugh as she wraps her arms around the girl, resting her head on her shoulder.
HAYLEY AND GRACE WALK DOWN THE STAIRS, noticing the numerous people walking around. Grace had begun to do her hair but they still haven't fully gotten ready, since they knew they had time. Hayley sees Jackson standing alone, just simply watching everything. "Jackson, you remember Grace." Hayley says as they walk over to the man. Jackson nods his head, looking towards Grace.
"Of course, it's great seeing you again." He says, holding his hand out towards her but she only narrows her eyes for a moment. She reluctantly takes it.
"Hm." Grace seemed to be analyzing something about him and Jackson just glanced towards Hayley. "Listen very closely." She starts as she takes a step closer to him, a threatening look on her face. "If I hear one peep about how you either mistreated my sister, or laid a hand on her, or hell, even badmouthed her. You will not make it to your honeymoon." Grace tells him, her voice sharp as she glared at him. "Are we clear?" She asks and Jackson nods his head slowly. Hayley rolls her eyes as she moves Grace away from Jackson slightly.
"Okay, I do not need you to go all macho on his ass."ย Hayley admits as she smiles lightly, she knew Grace was doing it in her best interest, but she'd rather her groom not have a black eye while walking down the aisle.
"He should know, never to hurt my sister. Ever." Grace states and Jackson gives the woman a soft smile.
"I have no intention on hurting Hayley. You have my word that I will only love and protect her." Jackson tells her and he could see that Grace was taking in his words for a minute before letting out a sigh.
"I guess we will see." Grace responds as she narrows her eyebrows. Jackson chuckles as he moves his eyes to Hayley.
"She's very protective." He points out and Hayley smiles, nodding her head.
"That she is." She responds. Jackson glances around, seeing people moving around in order to get the place ready for the wedding.
"Oh, I so don't belong in your world" He admits as he shakes his head, a smirk on his face.
"My world? I'm not the kind of girl who sat around fantasizing about her wedding day, and if I had, it probably would've looked a little less this." Hayley explains to him with a laugh as she crosses her arms against her chest.
"No, she was in fact the one crashing them instead." Grace states and Hayley hits her arm as the girl only smirks at her.
"You getting cold feet?" Jackson asks as he sees Hayley's distant expression. Hayley meets his eyes, shaking her head.
"No, this is what's right for Hope, for our pack." Hayley admits as she fiddles with her fingers, her eyes moving around the room.
"Hayley." Klaus interrupted the conversation making everyone glance over at him. "If I might intrude, there's someone who wishes to say hello." He admits and Hayley was slightly confused but followed him out into the courtyard. It's then that she saw Camille holding Hope with Elijah standing next to her.
"You brought them here? Finn could be anywhere." Hayley points out, walking over to the group.
"I've taken precautions." Klaus admits as he watched Hope take their daughter in her arms. "There will be no uninvited guests at your wedding. And after, your pack will be the first line of defense to this home. No more running, queen." He explains to her and Hayley glances at him for a moment before moving over to Jackson.
"Hope, this is Jackson." She says with a smile and Jackson can't help but adore the little girl. "Jackson, this is hope." Hayley meets Jackson's gaze and she could see the smile on his face. Grace moves over to them, letting them have a moment.
"And Hope wants to go with her Aunt Grace. Yes, she does." Grace says with a gasp as she takes Hope from Hayley. The woman rolls her eyes playfully but allows Grace to take her. Grace smiles as she looks at Hope before her eyes move to Camille.
"Your hair looks very pretty."ย She says as she was already admiring the woman from afar. Grace gives a appreciative look, nodding her head.
"Thanks, Cami."
"I heard that you and Klaus are like.. official now." Camille says, trying to keep her face happy as she fiddles with her fingers. Grace raises an eyebrow, her eyes narrowing.
"People are using that term?" She asks, as even she hadn't really said that yet.
"Well, Elijah mentioned it to me." Camille tells her and Grace just nods her head.
"Right. Yeah, I guess we are."ย Grace replies as she nods her head, smiling gently. Camille was happy for her, truly. But there was that piece of her heart that hurt.
"You look happy." She admits and grace smirks, bringing her hands up to her face.
"Do I have a certain glow?" Grace jokes as she poses, holding Hope close.
"Oh, definitely." Camille responds with a slight laugh. "I'm gonna leave you to get ready for the wedding." She says, not wanting to take up any more of graces time.
"Are you coming tonight?" The woman asks as she looks at Camille with a curious look on her face.
"I might just stay and watch Hope." Camille admits as she shrugs her shoulders. She didn't know if she wanted to stick around, especially if Grace and Klaus will be close together.
"Well, I hope you come. I'm sure you'll look stunning." Grace tells her with a smile before walking off to find where Klaus had gone off too. Camille watches the girl walk away, her eyes sad as the smile falls from her face.
GRACE WAS STARINGย INTO THE MIRROR IN FRONT OF HER AS SHE CLASPED THE NECKLACE AROUND HER NECK. She lets out a breath as she runs her hand down her dress, staring at her appearance. The dress was long so most of her body was covered, but she was still a little wary of her arms. You could clearly see the scars, unless she were to cover them. She was so caught up in looking at her appearance that she didn't notice Klaus walking up behind her.
"You look beautiful, love." Klaus states with a smile on his lips as he places a kiss on her shoulder. Grace looks at him through the mirror, she didn't really feel self conscious with him. After all, he's seen her whole body but she just didn't like to look at them herself. She turns around to face him, tilting her head.
"And you look very dashing in your suit." Grace replies as she places her hands on his chest. Klaus chuckles as he brings his hands down to her hips.
"I do clean up nicely." He teases and she smiles lightly, her eyes moving down him for a moment.
"I can see that." She states as she lets her hands run along him. Grace bites her bottom lip, glancing towards the ground before meeting his eyes. "So, Cami used the word official today." Grace tells him and Klaus raises an eyebrow at her.
"Regarding?" Klaus questions as he looks at her confused.
"Us." She admits and she could see that Klaus was a little taken off guard. "I guess Elijah told her and kind of made it seem like we were officially a couple, or something." Grace explains to him and he nods a bit, biting the inside of his cheek. Klaus moves his hand to hers, giving it a squeeze.
"I mean, are we, love?" He asks, not really wanting to put a label on them if she didn't want to.
"We are... Sort of." Grace says as she shrugs her shoulders, she really wasn't sure.ย "I think we are." She states as she plays with Klaus' fingers.
"I think we are too." Klaus replies and she smiles lightly, looking up at him.
"Then I guess that makes us official." She points out and he only smiles down at her before gently placing a kiss on her lips. Grace kisses him back before she moves back. "Jenna will likely hit her head against a wall." Grace admits with a small laugh, knowing Jenna might not take this news very well.
"I would like very much if she did." Klaus says, half joking but also... He wouldn't really care. Grace slaps his arm, seeing the smirk on his lips.
"Nik." She scolds as he only brings his lips back down towards her. Grace moans softly against the kiss before pulling back again. "So, is Finn still around?" Grace asks, they didn't really say whether or not Finn was still Finn or if he had switched bodies again.
"Well, he was very much dead but he probably hopped into another body anyways." Klaus states with a sigh as their brother wasn't one to go away easily. Grace scrunched up her nose, shaking her head.
"Of course." She says as she rests her chin against the man's chest. Klaus smiles down at her, wrapping his arm around her waist.
"Am I interrupting." Hayley asks as she sees the position that they are in. Grace turns her head, smiling when she sees the woman.
"There's the bride." Grace states as she walks over to her, pulling the girl in for a hug. "You look amazing, Hayley." She says, although she had helped most of it, seeing the final look... She looked absolutely beautiful.
"I hope so." Hayley jokes as she glances down at herself before moving her eyes to grace again. "Look um.." she trails off, nervously fiddling with her fingers before hesitantly speaking. "Jack and I were going to just walk down together because you know, neither of us has many people or you know, parents." Hayley explains to her and Grace nods her head, furrowing her eyebrows. "But then I thought about it and.. you're my family, Grace." She admits and she could see that Grace was trying to put together what she was trying to ask. "Will you give me away?" Hayley asks her, her eyes filling with tears as she smiles at the girl. Grace gasps as she brings her hands up to her mouth.
"I would be honoured." Grace replies before hugging the girl again, tightly wrapping her arms around Hayley. "You're gonna make me cry and I just finished my makeup." She teases the girl as they pull apart from each other. "I really hope this brings you happiness, Hayley." She admits, she knew this was a bit of a weird thing to be doing, especially given the circumstances of the wedding. But grace wanted Hayley to be happy, and she genuinely hoped that Jackson brought that for her.
"I do too." Hayley replies with a smile before quickly hugging the girl once more. Grace pulls away before leaving the room. Klaus goes to follow after her but Hayley stops him. "Klaus." She says, making him look at her curiously. Hayley let's out a sigh as she glances down at her feet for a moment.
"Look, when Grace first came to New Orleans, I warned her to stay away from originals." Hayley admits, she knew they brought bad news. And especially when she first met them, she didn't particularly like them. "I figured if she got too involved, that she would stick around and that meant her being in danger."ย She tells him and Klaus nods his head slightly, he understood why he wanted her to go back to New York and not stick around.
"And although that did end up happening, I know that you... Rebekah, Elijah. You'll all keep her safe." She says, she knew the family was very protective over Grace, maybe even more than Hayley was herself. Hell, even Kol would protect her, even if he doesn't particularly like her. "And trust me, I was not too thrilled when I first heard about, you and my sister." Hayley states as she honestly didn't want it to be true. She would have rather it be a fling but that didn't seem like it was happening.
"But..I see the way you look at her and how you speak of her." Hayley admits as she meets his eyes. "And I know you'd do anything to protect her." She adds with a sigh as she fiddles with her fingers. Truly, she couldn't say that he didn't care for her, because she didn't know what he was thinking.
"Which is why I can't exactly stand back and say, 'oh, well he doesn't love her' because I can see that you do. And I know, well I hope, that you never hurt her." Hayley says as she stared at the man who only listens to her words I gently. "Because she's really special, Klaus. You would be an idiot to screw things up with her." She admits, shaking her head. She truly couldn't see Klaus breaking Graces heart, she didn't know why. She had her problems with Klaus but when it came to Grace, it was different.
"Especially because, although you and I have a long time... She doesn't." Hayley felt her heart drop, just thinking about Grace growing old and dying. She didn't want to lose Grace but she had barely talked to the girl about whether she wanted to turn or not. But Hayley knew how much it weighed on you, the bloodlust.
"I know you wouldn't be with her if you didn't take that into consideration. But just.. if you truly want to be with her. Make the best of the time you have." And with that, Hayley left the room, leaving Klaus to think on what she said.
JACKSON WAS BESIDE HAYLEY, Grace on her other side as the girls held hands. A bouquet was in her hands. Hayley looks towards Grace, looking a bit nervous but grace squeezed her hand, giving her a reassuring smile. As the music started, they began to walk down the aisle as everyone stood up in order to look at them. Grace felt the anxious energy coming off of hayley.
They make their way towards the staircase, Jackson going up the right side while Hayley and Grace go up the left. When they make it to the top, grace let's go of the girls hand, letting her walk closer to Jackson. Grace steps back slightly, nodding at Mary who was initiating the ceremony. The woman nods back before looking back in front of her.
"Please be seated." Mary tells them and the guests sit down in their seats. Hayley turns to Grace, handing her the flowers. Grace sends a wink to the girl before Hayley turns back to Jackson. "We gather together as a community seeking peace, inspired by the union of this couple before you. There was a time when werewolves some themselves not as cursed but as blessed, with a connection to our most pure selves." Mary explains to them as she flickers her eyes between the couple. "And tonight, we honour that blessing with the long awaited unification of the two crescent bloodlines. In doing so,we choose to embrace Hayley's vampire nature." She says as she purified the air. Grace could see that Hayley was fiddling with her fingers. "With this union, Hayley will share her unique gifts with her pack." Mary states before holding out her hands towards Jackson and Hayley.ย "And now, your vows." She tells them and the two just stare at each other for a minute.
"I pledge to honour and defend you and yours above all others." Jackson starts as he looks at Hayley who was staring intently back at him.
"To share in blessings and burdens, to be your advocate, your champion.." Hayley continues, her voice slightly shaking but it was mainly from the nerves of everyone watching her. But also because Elijah's eyes were on her as well.
Grace looks to the side, her eyes catching on someone who was stood in the ledge, overlooking the ceremony. It was Klaus. Their eyes meet for a second and he only sends her a soft smile. She returns it, blowing a small kiss toward him.
"To be your comfort, your sanctuary, and for as long as we both shall live...." Jackson states with a small smile as he looks at Hayley.
"To be your family."
"To be your family."
They turn to the fire, picking up the stick and lighting the end of it before lighting the bowl next to them. Grace smiles as she brings her hands up to her chin. "You two have endured all the traditional werewolf rituals and trials. There's only one remaining." Mary tells them before she looks towards Jackson with a smile on her face. "Jackson, you may kiss your bride." She states and Jackson looks at Hayley, taking a step towards her. Hayley seemed a bit nervous but their lips connected softly.
Cheers from the crowd errupt, grace being one of them as she claps, smiling brightly as she watched the couple kiss. But her eyes move up to the patio, just in time to see Elijah walking away. Grace sighs as she knew it was hard for him to watch but he couldn't mess this up.
If he did, there would be various consequences.
EVERYONE WAS IN THE STREETS OF NEW ORLEANS, celebrating the wedding. Grace though didn't really feel like partying. Turning down a drink? Yeah, that was new for her too. But she only found herself searching for Klaus who had seemed to have disappeared after the ceremony. She found him standing on the patio in his room, a glass in his hand. He was silent, just watching the people in the streets.
"Not up for the party, Nik?" She asks as she leans against the doorframe. Klaus turns his head, looking at the woman who was still in her dress from earlier. He shakes his head, moving his body to face her.
"Just thinking, love." Klaus replies as she walks over to him. He placed his glass down beside him. Grace furrows her eyebrows as she stops in front of him.
"About?" Grace questions as she wraps her arms around his neck. He only gives a small smile, shaking his head.
"Nothing you need to concern yourself with." Klaus tells her as he moves his hand to her hip, rubbing it lightly. "You know.. Hayley said something to me."ย He admits and she raises her eyebrows, narrowing her eyes a bit.
"What?"
"I know we may not have long together. Sixty years, give or take." Klaus starts, even though he didn't even know if they'd last that long. Maybe this was more of a short term relationship to her. That's what he feared anyways. "And I think that has made me realize that I need to cherish every single second of those years." He states and she was a bit confused but was mainly smiling as he talked to her.
"I love you." Klaus says and Graces eyes widen, her mouth parting slightly. She didn't really know what to say. "I know, with the things in your past, it was hard for you to even open up to me. Trust me, it wasn't easy for me either." He explains, it wasn't easy for him to let her in. With everything that happened with tatia and then aurora. But something was different about grace. Something he knew he could trust. "But I know that I may take you a little longer to say-"
"I love you too, Nik." Grace blurts out, before she can even stop herself. She didn't even realize that she was going to say it, it had just come out. But she knew it was true. It was a short time that they were together and even then, they'd only known each other for about a year, a little more. But she could feel it in her heart. And the way he made her feel even when he just walked into a room.
"You do?" Klaus asks, almost thinking she was joking. He honestly was not expecting her to have that answer but instead, reject him. Grace nods but he could see her smile fade a bit which worried him.
"There is one more thing, though." She admits and she could tell that he was a little afraid of what she was going to say.ย "After seeing you with Hope today.. seeing her home." Grace stops herself for a second, only leaving Klaus more confused than he already was. "I can't give you anymore children." She states, her voice cracking lightly. Klaus didn't seem to quite understand what she was saying though.
"Do you not want-"
"No, I do." Grace says, it wasn't that she didn't want a child. She knew she could give her child the whole world which was infinitely more than her parents ever gave her. Grace would not let herself become her parents. "I just can't bare a child, Nik." She admits and Klaus' eyes soften as he stares at her.
Grace had found out a while ago, it was just something that wasn't going to happen for her. She was devastated but since it's been a few years, she has just sort of accepted it. "When I was seventeen, I thought I got pregnant, so I went to the doctors." She admits, fiddling with her fingers and she saw how Klaus was looking at her. "Turns out... It's just not possible for me." She states and Klaus immediately shakes his head, bringing his hand to her cheek and lifting her chin to move her eyes to his.
"I do not need another child." Klaus assures her as he strokes her cheek, tilting his head. "I just need you." He tells her as he gazes down at her. Grace smiles up at him, she knew it was a more in depth conversation to have but she wanted to let him know before they got too far into their relationship.
Klaus leans down, pressing his lips to hers deeply. Grace instantly kisses him back, the passion between them bursting out. She moves her hands down his chest, moving them underneath his shirt. Klaus moves her back, their lips never leaving each other as she hits the wood furniture behind her. Grace deepens the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck in order to bring him closer.
Klaus lifts her up, placing her on the table behind her, scrunching her dress up around her hips. Grace kisses him as she wraps her legs around him, squeezing against his side. Klaus let's his hands roam underneath to the back of her dress, fumbling with the zipper. He moves his lips to her neck, leaving open mouthed kisses along her skin as he pulls down the zipper. She feels the cool feeling of his hand on her back as he allows the zipper to go all the way down.
Grace gasps as she closes her eyes, gripping the locks of his hair as she tilts her head back. Klaus moves back to her lips after a second, roughly kissing her. Grace moans into it, bringing her hand down to her belt. But he had suddenly pulled away from her, leaving her confused. Klaus breathes heavily as his lips were barely apart from her, she could easily connect them again. She was still clinging to him, a whine leaving her lips as she felt the warmth from him, leave her body. Her skin beginning to turn cold since her dress was half off.
"Must you intrude on every moment?" Klaus asks and Grace furrows her eyebrows. She turns her head to the side, seeing Elijah and Rebekah standing by the door. She groans as she lets her head fall against Klaus' shoulder.
"I'm not here to quarrel, brother." Elijah assures him as he looks at his brother. Klaus clenches his jaw as he moves his hand behind graces back, pulling her zipper back up so she wasn't going to flash anyone as she stood up. He grabs her hips, lifting her off of the table before pulling down her dress.
"It's Kol. I couldn't help him." Rebekah admits after the two had gotten themselves situated. Grace frowns, a downcast feeling falling over her. "He's not gonna last the night." She tells her brother who only moves his eyes to the ground. Klaus had honestly believed that there would be some magical solution to save Kol. Even though the man told him he was hexed. He was hoping for a miracle, basically.
They made their way to the cemetery where Davina and Kol were. They didn't want him to go alone, they wanted to be there for him. Grace was going to stay back, thinking it was a moment just for family but Klaus told her to come with them. She feels like it was mainly for him though, she knew he didn't like to show his emotions but she could tell he was feeling guilty.
As they get there, they see Davina and Kol standing together in the distance. "I think I want to be alone for this part." Kol admits as he looks down at Davina. He didn't want her to seem him die. As he goes to turn in order to walk off, he's stopped by a new voice.
"I'm afraid thats not an option." Elijah says, making Kol stop and turn to face them. He looked slightly confused but mainly relieved to see them.
"Always and forever is not just something you weasel out of, brother." Klaus tells him as he and Elijah help the man into the crypt beside them. They set him down on the floor, resting Kols head against Rebekah as she sits down.
Kol glances around, seeing his family gather around him. He was even happy to see Grace who was knelt next to Klaus. He smiles lightly as he was breathing unevenly.
"
All my life, all I've ever wanted was.. you lot to care about me." He admits as he looks around, seeing the guilty expressions on their faces. Rebekah sniffles as she rubs her hand up and down Kols arm.
"Kol, listen to me. You don't have long." Rebekah informs him and grace could tell that Kol had made peace with the fact that he was going to die. He wasn't fighting it anymore. "You're going to die. But you'll die a witch and we will consecrate your body. You will join the ancestors of the French Quarter and those spirits can be brought back." She explains to him, a tear moving down her cheek. "And I promise you, brother. I will not leave this body until I find a way to bring you home." Rebekah tells him and Kol just stared up at her. He knew she was going to try and bring him back, but he knew it also wouldn't be quite that easy for her.
"I tried a different spell." Davina says as she walks over to him, kneeling in front of the man. Kol shakes his head, taking her hand in his, giving it a squeeze.
"It's okay." Kol assures her with a soft smile. Davina looked broken though as she stared at her dying boyfriend. Grace had moved her hand to place on the girls back. "Im-- I'm not scared." He admits as he felt his heart beat get slower. They all watch as Kol relaxed back against Rebekah, his chest slowly stopping as his eyes move to the roof.
Grace closes her eyes for a moment, her stomach in a twist. It hurt her to watch Kol go, even if they weren't exactly the best of friends. Especially since she knew this was the second time Klaus has had to watch him die. She truly felt awful for them and for Davina as well who just completely breaks down next to her. Grace wraps her arms around Davina, letting the girl fall against her as she cried. Because it hit her as she watched the life leave her boyfriends eyes.
Kol Mikaelson was dead.
