Lizzie was folding clothes for her daughter, which she bought while shopping with Izzy. The girl was bored, so she started buying things for her baby, who was going to be born soon. Her peace was disturbed by a knock on the door.

- Come in - Lizzie called and sat down on the bed. - If you want to hurt me with words, then leave, because I'm not in the mood for it today - Lizzie stated when she saw her brother, who entered her bedroom.

- I want to apologize to you for what I said to you - Jace replied and took a few steps towards her. - You have the right to be angry with me, but I need your help - The blonde man said pleadingly.

- Jace, you are my brother, although your words hurt me, I can't be angry with you. Tell me what happened, brother? - Lizzie asked with a voice full of concern.

- I don't know what's happening to me. I can't sleep, I don't remember how I ended up in Jade Wolf or the Institute or what I was doing there - Jace answered her. - Our mother suffered from psychosis in silence for years and didn't get the help she needed

- I'm going out with the doctor tonight - Izzy replied.

- Tell me everything - Lizzie told her.

- It's just dinner. I'm just doing this so he can leave me alone - Izzy replied.

- Then why go out with him at all? - Lizzie asked, surprised.

- You're right. I should cancel and help search for Owl - Izzy said.

- Izzy, you've been working non-stop. You could take a few hours and have some fun. It would do you good - The blonde girl noticed. - There's an orange dress hanging on the right side of the closet that you should like - The blonde girl stated and Izzy pulled out the dress the girl was talking about.

- It's beautiful - Izzy said when she looked at the dress. - How is my niece feeling?

- She's very mobile today, , so I can forget about a good night's sleep - Lizzie sighed and touched her pregnant belly hand.

- You won't have it easy with her - Izzy stated before leaving the room.

A bored Lizzie entered the office and saw her husband sitting at his desk and looking at his laptop.

- Is everything okay? Something with the baby? - Alec asked and he looked at her.

- Everything's fine with us. I've just been bored since you limited my missions and made me stay at the Institute - Lizzie said and sat on his lap.

- You're pregnant and you need to rest a lot - Alec told her.

- Why you are browsing at apartments? - The blonde girl asked him after she saw the housing ads on his laptop.

- I thought we should have our own apartment so we have more privacy. Besides, you're going to give birth to Alexis soon and you'll need some peace and quiet to recover from the birth - Her husband replied and put his hands on her waist.

- Alec I like the idea, but I think you forgot that we're the heads of the Institute, so people will need us - Lizzie noticed.

- Honey, it's not written anywhere that the heads of the Institute have to live at the Institute - Her husband informed her. - I found an apartment 2 blocks from the Institute so that if needed we can be there quickly

- I'll always go wherever you go because I love you so much Alexander Lightwood - Lizzie said with a smile before placing her hands around his neck.

- I love you too, honey. And our little Alexis - The man said and touched his wife's stomach. Alec smiled as he immediately felt his daughter kick. - She's going to be a daddy's girl - The man stated proudly.

Lizzie was still in the office, relaxing her husband's kisses on her neck, until they were interrupted by a knock on the door.

- That's why we have to have our own place, because then no one will interrupt our frolics - Alec sighed. - Come in!

- Do yous have a moment? - Jace asked when he entered the office and looked at the marriage.

- Yes - Lizzie answered, and Jace sat down in the chair in front of the desk.

- How are you? I heard you took the day off - Alec told him.

- Yes - Jace said and nodded his head in their direction. - I've been thinking a lot about what's happening to me and... I decided to go to the Silent City for treatment. You were the ones who told me I needed help. I'm sorry

- Jace, you know that if this doesn't work, you realize that... - Alec said, but Jace interrupted him.

- I know - Jace said and smiled at him. - At least I'll know I tried everything, right? - The blonde man asked them.

- We're going with you - Alec said firmly.

- We'll be with you the whole time - Lizzie informed him and getting off her husband's lap and moment later walking over to her brother. Alec did the same.

- Thanks, but yous know you can't do that, they won't let you - Jace pointed out. - This is a fight I have to face alone - Jace said and hugged his sister, then his Parabatai.

Then he looked at them with a smile on his face before leaving their office.
