" Shikon no, what- " Kagome said confused as she held a key chain in her hands.

" Shikon no tama, my girl " her grandpa said " The Jewel Of Four Souls ".

" You don't actually think tourist are gonna buy these dumb key chains, do you? "
Kagami, Kagome's younger sister added with raised eyebrows.

" That is not just a key chain, that crystal there at the end is a replica of an ancient Jewel which- " grandpa started but stopped himself when he saw Buyo playing with the key chain in Kagami's hand, the teenager began moving the key chain out of the cats reach as Buyo continued to reach for it.

" As I was saying, that crystal is a replica of an ancient Jewel which- " grandpa started again but stopped when he saw Kagami moved the key chain out of Buyo's reach again as the cat moved onto the girls lap to reach it but fell to the ground, grandpa groaned before continuing " An ancient Jewel which- ".

" You do remember it's my birthday today, right " Kagome said interrupting her grandpa again, who groaned softly.

" I planned to wait another day but...." Grandpa trailed off with a laugh.

" So you did get something, hand it over " Kagome said happily, her grandpa gave her a box and she opened it to see mummified hand and she and Kagami pulled a face.

" That my dear is a authentic mummified hand of a water imp " grandpa began to explain.

" Here Buyo......eat " Kagome groaned as she handed to mummified hand to Buyo, who happily took it.

" Ahhh, that's an antique " grandpa yelled as he fell over trying to get the hand from the cat as Kagami sweat dropped.

Kagome, Kagami, her grandpa, her mother and their little brother Sota were all sat down for dinner.

" Why these pickles are full of history " Grandpa said as he held a pickle with his chopsticks.

" Not half as full as you are " Kagome said causing her grandpa to deflate and Kagami to snicker.

" See ya " Kagami and Kagome said as they exited their house.

" We're leaving " Kagami yelled before she and Kagome ran off but stopped when they saw Sota in the door way of the well house holding a bowl.

" Hey, what are you doing? " Kagome asked confused.

" Nothing " Sota said as his sister's walked over to him.

" You're not supposed to play in there " Kagami said as she took her school bag off her shoulders.

" I'm not, it's the cat " Sota said.

" Did he go down to the well " Kagome asked.

" Buyo " Sota yelled as he kneeled on the floor trying to catch a glimpse of Buyo.

" So go down there " Kagami said as she crouched down, putting a hand on her cheek and leaned against it.

" But why do I gotta be the one to go down " Sota groaned.

" Because you're the one that's looking for him " Kagami said in an obvious tone.

Suddenly the three siblings heard a scratching noise.

" Ahhh, somethings down there " Sota yelled as he jumped up and hid behind Kagami.

" Ahh yea.......the cat " Kagami said in an obvious tone as Kagome smiled at the twos bickering.

Kagami huffed in annoyance before walking down the stairs, she stopped half way.

' That sound from inside the well ' Kagami thought, the girl suddenly let's out a loud scream when she heard a bang, causing Kagome to gasp and Sota to fall to the ground screaming as well.

" Buyo " Kagome said as she saw said cat brushing his head against Kagami's legs, Kagami smiled and picked up Buyo, who rubbed his head against her face as he purred, Kagome walked down and stood next to her sister.

" You make fun of me cause, I'm scared then you're all like ' Ahhh....ahhh ' " Sota said before mocking fake screaming sounds.

" Look who's talking, Mr ' why do I have to go ' " Kagami mocked as she turned to face her brother.

Suddenly they all heard scratching again, suddenly a blue spark covers the top of the well as wood covering the well bursts off and a strong wind in the shape of multiple arms came gushing out of the well.

" Sis, behind you " Sota gasped as Buyo jumped from Kagami arms, Kagome gasped as she felt arms pulling her into the well but Kagami quickly grabbed her hand and got dragged with her sister.

Inside the well, Kagome felt the arms pull her to face the person, who grabbed her and they gasped in horror, when she saw a woman with multiple arms, black hair and the lower half of her body looked like a centipede had been the one to grab her.

" Alive.......ohh, to be alive once more and when my strength returns....." the centipede lady said as she gripped Kagome's head tighter as the girl tried to get out of the demons grip " You have it, don't you ".

" What are you doing....let go of me " Kagome yelled as she shoved her hand onto the centipede ladies face, a pink glow admitted from her palm and the centipede lady screamed in pain as she lets go of Kagome.

" The.....Sacred.....Jewel " Kagome gasped slowly before she and Kagami stumbled onto the ground.

" Kagome, are you alright? " Kagami cries as she gripped her sisters hand.

" Yeah, I'm fine........I guess, we must've fallen in the well" Kagome said.

' Mabye I bumped my head or something? ' Kagome questioned to herself as she held her arms that the centipede lady once gripped, trying to convince herself it was just a dream.

" Ahh, Mabye not " the older sister gasped, when she noticed an arm that belonged to the centipede lady on the floor.

" Either way, we have to get out of here " Kagome said to herself as she stood up and yelled " Hey, Sota...get grandpa ".

" he must of took off, little brat " Kagami muttered under her breath with a scoff as they began climbing up the well using the vines covering the well, Kagami gasped when a pure white butterfly flew in front of her, she then continued up the well.

The girls grunted as they placed their bodies on top of the well, so they wouldn't fall in again.

" What the- " They gasped, when they saw the wildlife around them instead of the old shrine.

" I could be wrong......but I don't think we're in Tokyo anymore " Kagami said and Kagome nodded in agreement before climbing out of the well and onto the grass as Kagome followed in suit.

" Grandpa......mom, are you there " The girls yelled out as they began walking away from the well " Sota............Buyo ".

" It's like the family shines not even- " Kagome gasped stopping herself, when she noticed the sacred tree in the distance.

" The tree " Kagami cried happily, when she noticed the tree. Kagami then began to run towards hoping to find their family.

" Kagami, don't run off " Kagome yelled as she followed her.

' That means, we're practically home ' Kagami thought as she moved bushes out of her way and smiled happily hoping to see her family but gasped, when she instead saw a white haired man with dog ears mounted to the tree unconscious roots covering him.

" Oh my god, who is that? " Kagome said, when she saw him.

" Is that a boy " Kagami said as the wind blew through the man's while hair.

" Hey, there......what'cha doing? " Kagami asked as she climbed up the roots and towards the man

" Hey Kagami, don't just walk up to a stranger" Kagome yelled.

" Don't worry, it'll be fine " Kagami said as she reached the boy ' Ohh, wow like dog ears......I think I wanna......touch them ' she looked at his dog ears and couldn't help herself and she stood on her tippy toes reaching up and began touching the man's ears as Kagome sweat dropped at her younger sisters antics, after Kagami was done she breathed out and laid her hands on her knees " Now that that's out of my system ".

" Get away from there " some villagers said as they shot arrows at Kagami, who gasped and hid in the man's chest.

" Kagami " Kagome cried as one of the men grabbed her " Hey, get off of me ".

" Ohh shit " Kagami cursed as the villagers began running towards Kagami, who still held onto the man.

Kagami and Kagome now sat on a thin piece of hay with their arms and legs tied together as they both let out a sigh and looked at the villagers, who analysed them as they whispered to each other.

" You didn't have to tie us up, you know " Kagami said as she tired getting out of the ropes binding her arms behind her back.

" Girls with strange clothes ".

" Are they foreigners? ".

" You recon, it's war ".

" Of course it is and right in the middle of rice planting season too ".

" They could be kitsune's in disguise ".

" Nah, them shapeshifting foxes are a lot trickery than that ".

" Make way for high priestess Kaede ".

The girls looked up to see an old woman walking towards them with a bag in hand as she used a long bow as a walking stick.

' Now what? ' Kagami thought with a frustrated sigh.

Kaede handed the long bow to one of the villagers and grabbed some of the powder out of the bag and began throwing it at the girls causing them to flinch, grunting everytime the powder hit them.

" Demon's, begone " Kaede exclaimed as she continued to throw the powder at their faces.

" Hey, hey we're not demons, okay " Kagome glared as the woman stopped throwing the powder at them.

" Are ye not? " Kaede asked " Then why were ye found in the forest of Inuyasha? ".

" They could be spies from another village " the man next to Kaede said.

" In that case, They would be fools " Kaede pondered " Who would invade such a poor village, such as ours " Kaede quietly gasped as she got a closer look at the girls, who both looked familiar.

" Let me have a good look at ye " Kaede said as she walked over to the girls and grabbed both their faces and began inspecting them " Be clever girls or be ye a half-wits ".

' Why you ' Kagome and Kagami glared.

" It's there " Kaede said as she let go of their faces " Though, I know not why ".

" Huh " the girls said confused.

It was now nighttime and Kaede had brought Kagami and Kagome to her hut and prepared a meal.

" Stew? " Kaede offered.

" Wooow, real food....that looks great, thank you " Kagami smiled in happiness as she and Kagome gladly took the bowls and began eating " Sooo good ".

" Bear us no ill will child, for though I now see, ye mean us no harm " Kaede said " In these troubled times of war, no stranger may be welcomed among us without deep distrust ".

" We really aren't in Tokyo anymore, are we? " Kagome said.

" To-kee-yo " Kaede said slowly before asking " Never heard of it, is that where your people are from? ".

" Uhhh yea, so we should probably get going " Kagami smiled sheepishly before thinking ' Though I have no idea how to get back, of course '.

Kaede looked at them intently as she began to have a flashback

" Sister, please you must " a young Kaede pleaded with her elder sister Kikyo.

" Take the jewel, Kaede......and see that it is burned with mine and Ayame's bodies " Kiykyo said weakly.

' Fifty years have passed since then ' Kaede thought.

All of them jumped, when they heard bangs and crashes from outside.

They ran out of the hut.

" What's going on? " Kaede exclaimed and they gasped, when they saw the destruction being caused by mistress centipede.

" It's the monster " a terrified villager yelled.

Mistress centipede hissed throwing away some of the villagers with her long lower body before dropping the horse from her mouth and in front of Kaede, Kagome and Kagami causing them to gasp and jump back.

" It's that thing " Kagami exclaimed.

" Give me the sacred jewel " mistress centipede said before rushing at the two, who quickly jumped out of the way, they ducked out the way again as mistress centipede passed them again.

" It said sacred jewel? " Kaede exclaimed at them as Kagami helped her up " Bear ye it still? ".

" Ahh, we have no idea, what that thing is talking about? I mean I've head of the jewel " Kagome said.

" I must have it, I must " Mistress centipede cried before spinning her body around and around extremely fast resembling a spinning top and began injuring the villagers.

' That thing, it's after me ' Kagome thought.

" Spears, arrows nothing works " a man said frantically as two villagers ran in front of Kagami, Kagome and Kaede.

" We must lure it to the dry well " Kaede said.

" The dry well " the girls questioned.

" In the forest of Inuyasha " Kaede answered.

' It must be the well we climbed out of ' Kagome thought before quickly asking " Which way is the forest " she turned seeing a light in the distance " Where the lights shining, right " the older sister said before running in the direction of the light.

" Wait " Kaede yelled but Kagome kept on running.

" Kagome " Kagami yelled.

" I'll draw it away " Kagome yelled as she jumped off of land and into the water and continued running.

" How is it, she can see......but she can not be see in the forest of Inuyasha " Kaede said and Kagami looked at her confused.

" Lady Kaede " a villager yelled as some men came running towards her and Kagami with horses.

" Why are you taking so long to kill it? Just do her like you did me " the man said in a taunting voice " You look pretty dumb there Kikyo, the Kikyo, I know wouldn't waste her time ".

" That does it, Kikyo, Kikyo who ever she is, she's not me cause my name is-" Kagome snapped as she quickly stood up with her hands on her hips but was interrupted by the man.

" She's here " he said.

Kagome gasped, when mistress centipede rushed at her from above but misses when she just narrowly dodged her attack, the demon was about to attack her again but stopped when two spears with ropes attacked to them were imbedded in her sides as well as two more on her lower body.

" Kagome " Kagome yelled as she quickly jumped off the horse.

" Inuyasha has revived " a villager said to Kaede, who just arrived.

' How can that be, the seal should of held forever ' Kaede thought in shock.

" Give me the sacred jewel " mistress centipede said as she tried to pull a screaming Kagome away from Inuyasha.

' Sacred Jewel ' Inuyasha piped up at the mention of the jewel.

" Stop it " Kagome yelled as she held her hand towards the demon and a glowing pink light shot from her hand pushing mistress centipede away also causing Kagome to fall to the ground with a thud along with the rest of the demons arms.

Kagome lifted her hand to her face " It happened again " she said in confusion as everyone gasped in shock " But how did I do that? " suddenly Kagome's stomach began to glow pink-lilac colour and she looked down " Whats happening now? ".

Mistress centipede, who had recovered from the attack began charging at the girl aiming for her stomach, Kagome yelled in pain as she felt mistress centipede's teeth puncher her skin, mistress centipede threw her in the air as the sacred jewel and blood came out of where the demon punctured.

" Kagome " Kagami yelled as she tried to go to her sisters aid but was stopped by Kaede.

' It came from inside me......is that the sacred jewel ' Kagome thought as she looked at the small jewel, she grunted as she and the sacred jewel slide down the demons lower body and onto the ground with a thud.

" Give me the jewel quick " Inuyasha said with urgency as Kagome sat up.

" What " Kagome said and grunted, when she was thrown against Inuyasha's chest, the centipede's lower body held them together tightly and she lowered herself in front of the two.

" I heard some half-demon spawn was looking for the sacred jewel " mistress centipede said to Inuyasha " It's you, isn't it ".

' Half-demon......what is he? ' Kagome thought looking up at Inuyasha as mistress centipede laughed.

" Half's all I need to kick you're scaly ass, anything more than that would be a waste of my time " Inuyasha smirked.

" Listen, you talk big but can you back it up " Kagome asked.

Inuyasha looked down at her confused.

" Can you or not? " she asked again as Inuyasha looked at mistress centipede.

" What can he do? In there like that or you for that matter, you're powerless to stop me " Mistress centipede laughed " You're helpless, the both of you " mistress centipede then used her long tongue to grab the sacred jewel and swallowed it as Inuyasha protested.

Mistress centipede's arms glowed red before levitating into the air and reattached themselves to her body.

" Look it's re-arming " Kagome said as she gripped Inuyasha's red robe.

" At last my power is complete " Mistress centipede grunted as her white skin bursted off her body.

" Damn it, it's crushing me " Kagome said holding onto Inuyasha's red robe tighter as the demon's centipede body began crushing her.

" Hey, can you pull out this arrow " Inuyasha said softly.

" Huh " Kagome said.

" Look can you pull out this arrow out or not " Inuyasha yelled.

Kagome's hand reached up towards the arrow " I don't know " she groaned as the centipede gripped her tighter.

" Nay child, once the arrow is removed, Inuyasha will be free to destroy us all " Kaede warned with a yell.

" Don't be stupid you old hag, at least with me you have a chance, where's that things gonna eat you " Inuyasha yelled before looking at Kagome and spoke to her
" And what about you? Are you ready to die yet?".

' I don't know what i should do, but given the choice ' Kagome thought as her hand reached up and griped the arrow " I CHOOSE TO LIVE " she yelled as she pulls the arrow after a few seconds it disappears in a burst of pink-lilac light.

" It's gone " Kaede gasped " My sisters spell vanished ".

Inuyasha, white bangs covered his eyes as he body began to pulse.

" Inu.....yasha " Kagome uttered slowly.

Inuyasha began to laugh manically, mistress centipede noticed and screeched at the half-demon and wrapped her centipede body around Inuyasha and Kagome but that didn't last long as a yellow flash appeared as Inuyasha tore apart mistress centipede's body, Kagome fell to the ground with a yell and she gasped as she looked at the damage Inuyasha had done.

Kagami quickly ran towards her sisters side and held her up.

" Nasty hag " Inuyasha smirked as he appears in front of mistress centipede, mistress centipede charged at him and Inuyasha did the same as he yelled out " Iron reaper : soul stealer " Inuyasha's claws tore threw mistress centipede's body starting from her mouth and ending at her tail.

Kagome let out a yell when one of mistress centipede's body parts began to move
" It's still moving " she yelled as Kagami gripped her sister tighter.

" Find the glowing flesh....quickly, that's where the jewel will be " Kaede said to the sisters " It must be removed at once, less the flesh of mistress centipede revive ".

" Oh god, please tell me you're joking " Kagami asked already knowing the answer, she then began looking around before finally spotting the jewel and points to it
" Over there, it's that one ".

Kaede walked over to it and pulled out the jewel and as soon as she did that, the flesh from mistress centipede's body began to disappear only leaving her bones, Kaede held the jewel in front of Kagami, who opened her hands and allowed Kaede to drop it in her hands.

" Huh, but-........." Kagami gaped confused.

" Only ye two, may posses the sacred jewel " Kade said before thinking the rest of her sentence ' Ye who so resembles, the dead Ayame and the dead Kikyo ' .

" But how'd it get inside of me? " Kagome asked confused " Why would I have a jewel wanted by demons ".

Inuyasha walked towards then and crushed one of mistress centipede's bones that was below his feet as he spoke " Exactly humans can't use it, so why bother keeping it....if you hand the jewel over right now, I won't have to start sharpening my claws on you " Inuyasha threatens with a smirk.

" What " Kagome gasped and held on to her sister.
