Third person P.O.V :
The next day :

Rosabella woke up , did her morning routine , and headed downstairs to have her breakfast , she saw Griff sitting on the table , she walked over and hugged him .
Rosabella : good morning , Griff .

Griff : good morning , Bella , are you nervous ?
Rosabella : yeah , a lot .
Griff : you'll do fine .
Rosabella : I know , Thank you .
They sat down and ate their breakfast , after that they headed to school .

When they arrived , Rosabella stopped and looked at Griff .
Rosabella : I have to go now , Griff , Don't get in trouble .
Griff : okay , Rosabella , I get it , I'm gonna be fine .
Rosabella : fine , goodbye .
Griff : bye .

Rosabella left and Griff entered his class , when she arrived , she found Parker standing beside his locker reading a science textbook , she walked over to him :
Rosabella : Hey , Parker !

Parker : Hi , Bella , how are you doing ?
Rosabella : I'm doing fine , and you ?
Parker : I'm great.
At that moment Jacob passed by :
Jacob : hey , guys , good luck .

Parker : Thanks , Jacob .
Jacob : anytime .
Jacob left , while the two best friends headed to the teachers' room to find Miss Palmer sitting in a chair drinking coffee .

Rosabella : Hey , Miss Palmer .
Miss Palmer : Hello , students . Are you ready ?
Parker : yeah .
Miss Palmer : ok , Parker go get Mr Wilson and tell him we're ready .
Parker nodded , and he left .

Miss Palmer : so what did you study ?
Rosabella : Everything basically .
Miss Palmer : good to hear . I'm hoping we'll win .
Rosabella : me too .

After an awkward silence Parker showed up with Mr Wilson .
Mr Wilson : are you ready ?
The 3 of them : yeah .
Mr Wilson : ok then , let's go !

The 4 of them headed outside the school , and rode Mr Wilson's car , Mr Wilson turned on the engine , and they drove .

It was a very long way , the best friends read their books , and checked their phones , while they were trying to pass their time , they passed the highway , when they looked outside the window , it seemed really scary for them , it seemed like a dessert full of wild animals (just joking..)

They arrived after 90 minutes , they saw students from 3 different schools , they sat on a table of 4 , and revised the books again .

In another place :
Annie Wright school :
10 / A class :

Mrs Robinson was explaining the lesson , and everyone is practically half asleep .
Mrs Robinson : so that is the end of our lesson , understood ?
Everyone : *sleepily* yes !

Mrs Robinson : ok , now I'm gonna collect the homework I gave you yesterday .
Everyone's eyes widened suddenly , the teacher started passing around the class collecting homework from the students , she stopped at Jason Maxwell because there was no homework at his desk .

Mrs Robinson : where's your homework , Mr Maxwell ?
Jason : ...I've definitely lost it fighting with this kid who said you weren't the best teacher in the school .   
Mrs Robinson : you better get it tomorrow or you'll get a suspension .

Jason : fine , whatever..
Mrs Robinson : very well .
She completed walking around the class , collecting papers , Matthew was sitting beside Isaak , and since the teacher is busy , they talked :

Matthew : Isaak , are you a bit worried because Rosabella and Parker are alone together in the same car ?
Isaak : yeah , but they're not alone , they have Mr Wilson and Miss Palmer with them .
Matthew : I know , but aren't you worried ?

Isaak : yeah , and I'm also worried about them passing the highway .
Matthew : highway ?
Isaak : yeah , didn't you hear sister Marybeth ? She said the competition is in Spokane , and since there are no planes goes to Spokane very often , they're going through the highway .

Matthew : I get it , but we shouldn't worry about that .
Isaak : maybe we should , have you ever wondered why is it only Rosabella and Parker while there are more than 200 students in the school ?

Matthew : are they scared ?
Isaak : maybe , for example , why didn't you sign up for the competition ?
Matthew : because it's so far away , and I'm not that interested in science .
Isaak : see ? Some students fear the highway , and some are not interested in science .

Matthew : Why didn't you sign up ?
Isaak : ..Because most accidents happen on the highway , and I'm not that interested in science.
Matthew : ..ok then , but why didn't either Parker or Rosabella think the same way?

Isaak : ...because they're that interested in science .
Matthew chuckled , followed by Isaak , Mrs Robinson passed by :
Mrs Robinson : don't talk in class !
Matthew : ..whatever .

They didn't talk after , neither the whole class .

At 2 o'clock :
The science competition :

Rosabella and Parker were sitting on the table with their teachers , when someone spoke through a microphone , It was the manager of the competition , Bentley Zimmerman .

Bentley : after this very interesting time , this is the perfect moment to reveal the winners , and the winner school in this amazing science school .
Everyone burst into silence , waiting to see Mr Zimmerman opening the envelope that has the name of the winner .

Bentley : and the winner is...Rosabella Jones and Parker Rooney from Annie Wright school .
The hall was full cheers and clapping , Rosabella hugged Parker tightly before both of them walked over to the stage and received the trophy .

The crowd cheered one more time while Rosabella hugged her best friend again .
Bentley : ok..that's enough .
They let go , and both looked at Zimmerman .
Bentley : ..um..would the winners like to say anything ?

Rosabella : Parker , you say it , I'm not good at speeches .
Parker : ok..
He held the microphone , and started the speech .

Parker : well , We would like to thank Mr Wilson , and Miss Palmer because they're the amazing teachers anyone could ask for , and Sister Marybeth , the headmaster of our school , because she made us compete in the first place .

He completed : and let's not forget Mr Zimmerman here , because he had this amazing idea for a competition .

Zimmerman laughed : I guess that's true .
Rosabella chuckled and Parker completed : I first thought it's a competition , so every school would not talk to other people , and they would focus on winning , but I realized it's not only about that , It's also about having this passion to study science , so thank you , guys .

Everyone clapped , and the two went down the stage with the trophy with them .
