Friday. The day everyone wanted to come so the truth could be revealed. The nerve-wracking, never ending anxiety that was to arrive once things were learned.

Jungkook was actually driving at the moment, making his way to the café he wanted Taehyung to meet him at. It was currently 5:58 in the afternoon, he wasn't too much further but his timing was perfect if he thought so himself.

He had questions lined up but he wasn't too sure on how he would execute them. He also imagined that the line of questions he did intend on asking would vanish the moment his eyes laid on Taehyung.

But, regardless, Jungkook arrived. Tightness growing in his chest but he decided to ignore it.

He parked his car and slipped out of the driver's side, shutting and locking the door. This was actually about to happen, it was something he couldn't fathom.

Jungkook walked into the small café, taking in a deep breath. He scanned the interior, looking for Taehyung who he saw almost instantly.

The brunet was swirling a tiny spoon in his drink, head propped up by his right hand. He wasn't looking up or aware that Jungkook was now here.

The single Jeon Twin sucked up his nerves, striding over and taking a seat right across from Taehyung. The slightly older pushed over a glass of what seemed to be banana milk and a muffin then, he finally looked up.

He looked gloomed and also frightful. Jungkook just couldn't believe that after four years, he was sitting in front of the one who broke his heart.

". . . Part of me didn't believe him when he said he saw you. Part of me didn't want to believe him." Jungkook started off, wanting to get right to it, his eyes flickering between Taehyung's. "I look at you and I see nothing but good memories but then I think about you and I'm fulfilled with the shit you pulled. We still, still don't know why you left us. We live with the wonder of why did we drive you away. You didn't tell us anything, you didn't allow us the right of knowing. You just left."

Taehyung gulped, feeling the awkwardness overtake him. "What do you want me to say?"

Jungkook narrowed his brows, slamming his fist off the table. "Are you serious?!" He rose his voice. "What do I want you to say?! How about sorry?!" He knew he let himself get riled up a bit too quickly but he just didn't understand what type of question that was.

"Sor-"

"Don't say it now, prick!" He felt his own anger boil to the top, heart pounding so loud. Jungkook sucked in a deep breath. "I want to know why you left us. I want to know right the fuck now, Taehyung, so help me god. I don't care how unprepared you are, I don't give two fucks on what speech you wrote for this, I want to know right now."

Taehyung picked up his mug and brought it to his lips, taking a small sip of the hot chocolate. "How about," he breathed after taking his sip, setting the mug down. "You wait until me, you, and Jeongguk can all sit together and talk about it? I'm sure your brother would not appreciate being left out."

The suspense was drowning Jungkook along with everyone else. He looked down, bringing his hands to his head to try to ease himself. He had gave himself a few seconds before returning his gaze. "Was it his fault that you left?"

"No."

"Was it my fault?"

"No, Jungkook."

"So, you broke up with us because of your own fault? Something you did?"

"Jungkook, I'm asking we wait."

"Well, what if I don't want to?" Jungkook snarled, brows pinched. "What if I don't want to wait for Jeongguk? We waited for how long? Four years? I'm not even sure if he wants to see you if I'm being honest." His brows narrowed in anger.

Taehyung reached his hand out but it was smacked, forcing him to retract it.

"I didn't dare to hurt you back then but I'll break your fingers in a heartbeat if you try touching me." Jungkook threatened.

"Jungkook," Taehyung met his eyes. "I need you to wait a little bit longer. If you want to know everything, you can meet me right here at seven tomorrow night with Jeongguk."

"And you'll tell us everything?"

"I swear on my life, Jungkook, I'll tell you everything you want to know." Taehyung promised sincerely. "Okay?"

"You better be honest, as honest as you can be." Jungkook said, leaning back in his seat. "I mean it. I'm sick of waiting, I'm sick of dragging this on and living with the guilt of believing I did something to hurt you."

"I know you are." Taehyung softly spoke. "I realize that I can't just paint myself a new life and throw away everything over what I did. Not only would that be silly of me but it's a stupid idea and cruel to you guys. I realized it and I know I need to come to terms with what I did."

"Damn right." Jungkook sighed, disappointed with not receiving his answers just yet. He knew, as well as the author, at how long this took but both were sure the readers could wait another chapter until everything was finally learned.

"So . . . I mean, I know that you aren't particularly happy with seeing me but . . . Um, how has things been?" Taehyung cleared his throat, looking up at Jungkook here and there.

The twin didn't know if Taehyung was being legit right now or not but he rolled his eyes and decided to go along with it. "Great before you came back. Jeongguk is successful, I'm successful, we make great income. I actually don't know why I stay hooked up on you when my life is pretty perfect."

Taehyung pursed his lips, taking a bite out of his cookie he got for himself. "Can we leave out the part about everything that happened with me? Act as if this is a civil conversation?"

"Rich, Taehyung, that's rich coming from you." Jungkook said, his voice seeming low. "But, not like I care but I assume it's polite, how have things been with you?"

The elder hummed. "Decent." Was all he answered, sure Jungkook didn't actually care so he wasn't going to go into that much detail about it. "Not a fan of banana milk anymore or what?"

"It's still good. Banana milk never gets old." He shrugged and picked it up, taking a sip from it. "It's a bit too warm for milk in my opinion." Jungkook commented.

"I was ten minutes early, it explains why." Taehyung shrugged. "But, um, you really look like Gguk. It's the mole placement that helps me realize who is who. Well, the moles and scars."

"I've been told by your other friends that were cut off." Jungkook kept his eyes glued on Taehyung and his anxious behavior. He realized the questions he wanted to ask ultimately meant nothing since he wasn't going to learn much anyways. "Oh, damn, totally forgot." He lied.

Taehyung didn't say anything, wiping off his lips.

"But I guess you look nice too. Good choice with going back to natural. Blond was suiting but this natural looks is more appealing." Jungkook said. It wasn't hard giving a compliment back. Jeongguk would've struggled.

"Thanks. It was after I made this stupid mistake and it really made me question myself. I was a wreck."

"Like what? A breakdown?"

"Kind of. I wanted to just forget about it. It was so dumb and so stupid and I did it and I hated myself for it." Taehyung informed, finally looking up. "It was so unlike me, so . . . So life ruining to me because it was just dumb." He added, also leaning back, eyes locked on Jungkook's. "I regret it everyday."

"Have you ever told anyone about it?" Asked the younger.

"No."

"Well, why-"

"Tomorrow will be the first time I talk about it."

". . ." Jungkook rolled his shoulders and tilted his head. "Hope this isn't your way of trying to make me feel bad before you tell me."

"Not at all, just trying to let you know I regret it and I think about it everyday. Everyday for the past four years."
