( where sirius comes back home to ask magnolia a question )

"FUCK!" Sirius exclaims as he lifts himself on Magnolia's window roof. He had to climb on a homemade ladder that she built for sneaking out but it was poorly made — with Mason's help. The ladder broke as he stepped up, just as he was about to get to the very top but since it broke, he quickly got a hold to the roof. And since he's much older now, he barely had the athleticism and strength to lift himself like he used to.

"How do they bloody do this?!" He finally got on the roof, stretching out his limbs in pure agony.

He finally steps forward to Magnolia's window and smiles to see Maggie and Harry on her bed. It was a newfound sight, like maybe they were finally getting along after fifteen years. She was rambling on about the book in her hands, moving her hands around dramatically while tucked into Harry's side. He'd make a comment here and there causing her to slap his chest before continuing on her rant. He'd laugh and nod and listen.

Sirius's mood suddenly dampen, realizing he was staring at a version of him and Remus. Remus would always rant about the new books while Sirius always listened.

"Padfoot?" Harry notices him first, quickly getting off the bed and lifting her window.

"Hey, Bambi."

"Hey — um — we were just—"

"It's fine, kid, I know." Harry sighed in relief and smiled, stepping back, letting Sirius climb inside.

"Did you know I caught two people that jumped off the Astronomy Tower on a Hippogriff?" Harry and Magnolia looked at him oddly as he stood up, pressing his hand to his back, out of breath. "Bloody hell, how the hell do you do that every night?!"

Harry looks at Magnolia surprised to find out he knows about her sneaking out but she only shrugs with a stern face. "It's easy."

"God, I wish I was young again. Those were the better years before I had kids—" Harry let out a whistle, looking down at his hands. Magnolia sent her Pa a glare, not finding that comment entirely funny.

"Sorry, poor choice of words but that was also before I had a husband, its just all so—"

"Wait, what?" Magnolia says quickly, getting off her bed while Harry looked at him bewildered.

"H-Husband? Husband? What husband?"

"Harry, I think your parents want you home, dinners ready for you—"

"No, wait—"

"Harry, come on, I need to speak with Magnolia." Harry put on a pout before grabbing his shoes off the floor and walking towards the window. He looks at Maggie with a small look and she nods, sending him a small smile, giving him the signal its okay... and she'll tell him later.

"Have you guys always been able to speak to each other telepathically or is this new?" Sirius asks jokingly but partly being serious. He only asks seriously because it makes him gleam with happiness since thats what the old Harry and Magnolia did with each other. Neither of them answered as Harry climbed out of her window. Sirius watched him go and easily jump from her roof to his and climb through his window into his room.

"Yeah, I'd have definitely twisted an ankle doing that." Sirius mutters, closing Maggie's window before looking back at the blonde.

She looked at him sharply, waiting for him to tell her what he meant by husband. In a way, she intimidated him. Maybe it was her Veela genes from Evangeline that made it seem so, he didn't know. Maybe it was Remus's hard intimidating stare that she got from him.

"I thought you and Dad were fighting." He grimaced and sat on the edge of her bed before patting the spot beside him. She sat beside him, awkwardly rubbing her thighs.

"Maggie, I'm sorry you heard that. It's just... Things have been hard for me and your Pa."

"I'm not five, Pa. I know things have been hard for weeks now... It sounds like you and Dad are on the edge of breaking up." He stared at her side profile, furrowing his eyebrows, hating himself to think she's still his little innocent girl.

"I love Remus. And nothing will change that. Me walking out like that was immature and I should have talked it out more with him. I said certain things that weren't true and unforgivable... I don't ever want you to think me and your Dad are gonna spilt up because I'm all in."

"Then, why are you here and not talking to Dad. He's the one you should be talking to and I know you haven't spoken to him because you wouldn't have climbed into my window and would have gone through the front door." Sirius opened his mouth, but she already had an idea of what he was gonna say. "Why are you avoiding him? And he's at Harry's talking to Prongs and Lilyflower... He's been there all day, so you didn't have to jump through my window like a weirdo."

"Okay, I'm not a weirdo—"

"Weirdo behavior." She mutters, a small smile forming on her lips. He laughs, shaking his head before wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pulling her against him. He kisses the top of head and she leans against his chest.

"I'm all in with you too, Magnolia. Your my daughter and I'd never change that for the world."

"I know." She whispers, looking up at him softly.

"That's why I came to you first... Before you Da," he got up and she looked up at him confused before watching him get down on one knee in front of her. "Because there's something I need to talk to you about."

"I love you very much and I think we should have the talk—" Her face quickly contorts into confusion.

"If this is the sex talk, I'm fine, I don't need it—"

"Wait what?"

"I'm not stupid, I learned myself—" Sirius's face was horrified as he looks at her bewildered.

"Are you having fucking sex, Magnolia Hope Lupin Taurus?"

"No, no, no! I'm a virgin, I was just saying—"

"I'm not giving you a bloody sex talk, Maggie. I'm asking your permission to ask Remus to marry me!" Her eyes widen as he gets a small black box from his pocket and open it. It was a pretty rose gold wedding ring band.

"You listened to me." She whispered, tears pooling her eyes as he laughs.

"Of course, when you told me I was a silver person and you were a gold and Remus was a rose gold, I immediately bought the ring."

"You've had the ring for a week?" He nodded as she excitedly screamed before jumping into her Papa's arms. "It's beautiful!"

"I told you I'm all in." He whispers, holding her in his arms with a big smile. She pulls away, sitting on his lap and looking at the ring closer.

"Me and Remus are gonna talk to later about safe sex though, later."

"I shouldn't have assumed." She mutters, getting up as he forces a laugh.

"Yeah, you've now scared me for the rest of my life."

"He's gonna say no." Sirius mutters, turning around before Magnolia stops him and pushes him back towards the door of the Potter's residence.

"No, he won't. We both know him, he's gonna say yes."

"I was such a arsehole last time I saw him... I literally told him I didn't know if I wanted this." She stepped in front of him and straightened out his leather jacket.

"And like you did with me, your going to apologize and make him the happiest man on earth!" She states cheerfully as he nods determined before gripping the bouquet of Magnolia flowers. They weren't the fully white ones though, their petals were outlined with a soft purple — Remus's favorite.

One reason why Magnolia was named Magnolia. The other reason was after Lily. Like the past Magnolia, she was named after Lily for also being a flower. While Lily and James daughter was named Daisy Maeve Potter. Maeve is Evangeline's middle name.

"Yes, your right."

"I'm always right." Magnolia remarks, mirroring Sirius's smirk as she took a step back and knocked on the door for him.

Still in her pajamas, Maggie watched her nervous Pa stand in front of the door. They heard loud commotion from inside, first being Harry complaining that Daisy took his shirt again to wear as a sleeping gown to his parents. Lily and James talking back to him as they heard someone else approach the door.

Remus opens the door, about to speak but freezes at the sight of Sirius. Sirius's heart raced at the sight of his boyfriend. His large sweater and trousers, his hair messy and eyes rimmed red from crying earlier.

"What are you doing here, Sirius?" The shouting from the Potter's halted and they peered over at the front door to look.

Magnolia immediately smiled brightly as Sirius's leg started to shake from nervousness. Remus not seeming to notice his excited daughter standing a little behind Sirius in pajamas.

"Will you marry me?" Everyone gasped and looked at him with wide eyes. Magnolia opened her mouth to speak but quickly shut it, letting Sirius do his thing.

"Did he—" Lily quickly shut her husband up by slapping her hand over his mouth.

"Sirius—"

"I was an ass. I know." Sirius says, cutting off the werewolf. His eyes full of tears and sorrow and some hope.

"But I didn't mean any of it. I-I know I need to be a better parent and help around—"

"No, Sirius, I—"

"Bloody hell, Remus, baby, will you let me finish?" Daisy and Lily stared awestruck while James immediately began to cry. Harry wasn't staring at them but at Magnolia, who had small tears in her eyes as she wrapped her arms around herself with the biggest smile he's ever seen.

"Harry, get Peter, he's in the bathroom, he needs to see this." Harry quickly nods before running off to get their Uncle Wormtail.

"I love you. And I'm gonna be better, I promise I will. Better spouse, better Pa — better friend. I want nothing more than this. I'm all in, Remus. With the fights, the parenting, the good days, the hard days, the days Magnolia starts to have sex—"

"Wait what?" Remus remarks, looking over at Magnolia behind Sirius as she covers her face in embarrassment. "You, Magnolia, Evangeline — I'm all in."

"Your saying that like me, you and Eva are a throuple—"

"I'm still down for that—" Remus let out a laugh, shaking his head. "No, Sirius, you know she'll never be into you."

"Oh whatever, she's missing out but anyways!" Sirius got down on one knee just as Peter enters the room with a confused expression and immediately gasps. James excitedly pats his shoulder as they all watch.

"This is something... I should have done a pretty long time ago, but... Remus John Lupin." Remus already was nodding, whispering yes's as Sirius opened the small black box and looked at Remus with all pure love. "Will you make me the happiest man on the bloody planet and marry me?"

"Yes, you stupid bloke." Remus quickly pulled Sirius up from his feet and pulled him into a passionate kiss.

"YES!!! YES! YES! YES!!" James screeches, jumping in the air as Lily claps excitedly. "We're getting freaking married, let's go!"

"Took you guys long enough!" Peter laughs as Remus and Sirius pull away, immediately getting tackled in a hug by Lily. James was practically having the zoomies around the house before finally getting in the hug.

Harry walked around the couples and stood in front of Magnolia with a smile. She smiled back at him before laughing and shaking her head.

"So this is what he wanted to talk to you about?"

"Yeah... Guess he can't back out on us now." She laughs and before she knows it, she's being pulled into a hug by Harry. She couldn't help but groan but also laugh as she hugged him back.

"It's okay, Maggie. I know you love me — love me." Harry teased, making her laugh against his chest before looking up at him with a funny expression.

"I love you, love you? What does that even mean?" Looking back at her with a laugh and confusion of his own, he smiles. It slipped out of him on accident, stuttering over his words.

"Guess that's our thing."

"Your hilarious to think I'm ever gonna use that." He squeezed her waist before pulling away with a smirk.

"I love you, love you too, Mags."

"Maggie!" Remus shouts, coming from beside Harry and pulling her into a hug.

"I'm sorry, my darling, for everything." She quickly wrapped her arms around her father and dug her face into his chest.

"Stop saying sorry. You and Pa are getting a little annoying because of it..." He laughs, holding her tight as tears cascades down his cheek. "But congrats, Dad."

"You too, babe. I love you, my darling girl."

"Oh my babies!" Sirius cried, wrapping his arms around the two and setting his head on Magnolia's. Her and Remus couldn't help but laugh as he wept, confessing his undying love to them both.

"I love you guys so much!"

Magnolia turned into a little girl whenever she felt her father's love. She loved it. She loved feeling innocent from the worlds demise and safe in the arms of her protectors. She laughed gleefully and smiled brightly like a kid in a candy store. She knew she's never felt this way before because she didn't get that nostalgia like she'd usually get. This was new, this was great. She loved it.

This was something her other self didn't have. It should scare her but it made her feel the opposite. It made her feel lucky and happier. This is what she had now and she's gonna cherish forever. She deserved it.

"Isn't it illegal for two men to be legally married?" Daisy remarks, standing beside her older brother.

"Will you — Hell, Daisy, way to ruin the mood."

"I'm just saying!" Her small voice says as he rolls his eyes at his little sister. "I'm not being discouraging, I'm just stating facts!"

"They're still gonna have a wedding, babe." Lily tells her little twin, making the little redhead nod and clap happily for her uncle's.

"Well, ain't this a joyous day — I find twenty bucks on the ground and my two lads get engaged!" Peter laughs, making Harry laugh alongside him.

"I'm gonna get the champagne!" James shouts, running inside, almost falling over his feet.

"I have to call Eva! Oh, Regulus and Marlene — and Dorcas! Oh my gosh, we can't forget the Longbottom's! And the Weasley's!"

"Evans, calm down! We have all the time to tell everyone tomorrow, its everyone's bed time right now—"

"We need to start planning!"
