"Never heard of something irresponsible in my life."

ISABELLA HAD WOKEN UP BY THE TIME DAWN HIT. SEEING AS SHE DIDN'T REALLY GET MUCH SLEEP NOWADAYS. After getting ready for the day she went to her office to find out what she fought last night. Looking through her family's old bestiaries was a tiring task, but she had eventually found what she was looking for when she opened the third book.

She found that Berserkers were connected to werejaguars and were servants to the Aztec Nagual Jaguar God. After doing quite a bit of research on the creatures. Isabella decided to do some grocery shopping since she had seen that most of her food was expired when she got back.

☁︎

Last night during the battle between the McCall pack and the Berserkers, Peter Hale was robbed blind. Someone had stolen his bearer bonds while he was talking to Kate. Seeing as he was now broke, he wanted them back so he decided to try and hire a badass mercenary named Braeden, but he also hired her to find Kate.

Sitting in the chair across from the Hales, Braeden put her feet on the coffee table. "The table's Italian." Peter told Braeden, wanting her to take the boots off the expensive table.

"So are these boots," Braeden shot back. Derek laughed at the two's conversation as he thought of how he and Zella used to speak with each other that way.

"Are we going to talk interior design and fashion, or are we going to talk numbers? Braeden said getting to the point. Then looked towards Derek's direction, seeing him looking down at a polaroid in his hand, with all his focused attention on it and not the conversation that was being held in the loft.

Unbeknownst to her, Derek was looking at a picture he took of Zella when they were outside, going for a walk one day and he had decided to capture the moment while he was in a sentimental mood. Looking at the picture brought a lot of memories back to him and along came some sadness. But wanting to move on, Derek put the picture back in his pants pocket. Then grabbed some sunglasses off the table and began to look at his reflection.

[ the photo Derek was looking at ]

Writing an amount on a piece of paper, Peter slid it over for Braeden to see. Seeing the number Braeden looked back up at Peter, then crossed out his amount and wrote her own and slid it back to him.

Which provoked Peter to say, "We're hiring you to find Kate, not assassinate the president." However, Braeden didn't care what Peter thought. "I was hired by the Calavera's to find Kate. You're hiring me to find her first, going against the Calavera's is what's going to cost you."

Scribbling another amount on the paper, Peter slid it back to Braeden in hopes that she would take it, but that was not the case because Braeden slid it right back to him. Peter gave up and walked away while Derek took the piece of paper and tore it up. "We'll pay, just find Kate, that's all we want."

Peter was not happy with nephew saying they would pay the cost, because he didn't have the money for it. After Braeden walked out Peter closed the door roughly. "Are you insane?" Peter questioned, looking at his nephew like had lost his marbles.

"We don't have a choice. We spent a week looking for her and came up with nothing." Derek said with his back turned to Peter as he leaned on the table in front of him.

"If we don't find out who told Kate about the vault, we don't get those bonds back! What do you think I'm going to do then, huh? Get a job? My resume is slightly out of date. We got robbed, Derek. Robbed!" Peter protested. "So stop mourning your little friend that died, and help me find Kate!" Peter yelled, as he placed his hand on Derek's shoulder to force him to turn around.

That statement didn't go over too well with Derek, seeing as Peter did manage to turn him around Derek growled at him while grabbing his wrist. Shining his enticing yellow eyes.

Peter, now seeing the new change in his nephew, he had somethings to say. "Oh, that's a new look for you." Derek removed his hand from around his uncle's wrist and Peter asked "What happened to your eyes?"

"I don't know, but I'm willing to pay to find out." Derek said, looking at Peter sternly.

Walking to Lacrosse tryouts, Stiles and Scott were talking about very important things. "Of course you're still the team captain, you got your grades up just like Coach told you to, right?" Stiles asked Scott walking towards the field.

"Yeah, but he never told me I was back on the team. He just told me to show up at tryouts today." Scott told the whiskey eyed boy.

"We got bigger things to deal with anyway. Did you tell Argent yet?" Stiles asked.

"Ah! I texted him but he didn't get back to me, so I called Allison to see why he wasn't and she told me her dad left to go handle important business deals." Scott explained, as both of the boys had now stopped walking.

"You told him his sister Kate came back from the dead over a text?" Stiles questioned his friend's news delivery.

"It takes a lot of money to call France and I used it on calling Allison." Scott answered.

"Yeah, you think you got money problems? Try paying for an MRI and a visit to Eichen House." Stiles said.

"Another notice?" Scott asked, concerned.

"Yeah, this one said, 'FINAL'."

"Now what the hell are we even doing here anyway? We got like 117 million problems and worrying about our status on the Lacrosse team is not one of them." Stiles said, referring to the amount of Bearer bonds that was stolen for the eldest Hale.

Scott, however, was not paying attention to his friend's rant and was looking out on the Lacrosse field. "It is now," Scott said, jerking his head to the direction he was looking. Which made Stiles turn around to see what he was talking about.

They both looked at new players on the field practicing, while the goalie caught every ball they threw. "Who the hell is that?" Stiles questioned.

The goalie took off his helmet and his teammate congratulated him. "Nice Liam, you might just be our first ever freshman captain." a blonde boy named Garrett said.

Stiles was looking out onto the field with disbelief, "Okay, maybe we should just practice a little bit." Stiles said, walking out onto the field with Scott following behind him.

☁︎︎

After practice, Stiles and Scott decided to question the newest member of the Lacrosse team. "Hey, Liam. You want to explain what that was out there?" Stiles questioned. "What do you mean?" Liam asked.

"That little display, the little circus act." Stiles said being very vague. "What circus act?" Liam still questioned, not seeing what the guy was talking about. "You caught every shot." Stiles elaborated. "I was in goal." Liam said. "Yeah, but nothing, not a single shot got past you." Stiles accused, pointing at him. "Yeah, I was the goalie. You guys played the game before?" Liam asked, not seeing why the older guy kept questioning him.

Intervening, Scott asked, "You're a freshman right?"

"Yeah," Liam answered.

"But you weren't here last semester." Stiles pointed out, not recalling the younger boy.

"I transferred from Devenford Prep." Liam explained, as he looked at Scott.

"You transferred?" Scott asked, not seeing why he would transfer from one of the best schools.

"Yeah," Liam answered. But Scott saw through the lie, "You got kicked out didn't you?" he asked.

Liam didn't know how he found that out but he wasn't going to dive deeper into the subject. "Kicked out or transferred, what do you guys care? I came here to play Lacrosse. The team could use a few good players, right?" Liam asked, getting tense on the subject.

"No, we don't need any more good players." Stiles said, but it backfired when Scott didn't say the same thing. "Actually, we could sort of use a couple ."

Stiles, starting to get frustrated with the whole conversation, asked, "Okay, how'd you get this good? Have you always been this good, or did it just suddenly happen just once over night? Have you ever been out in the middle of the woods during the night of a full mo–." Stiles asked, as he bombarded Liam with questions. "Stiles," Scott said, interrupting his friend from going any further.

"Look, I learned from my stepfather all right? He made team captain when he was a sophomore, like you." Liam said as he looked at Scott. "And yeah, I guess I'm just that good." Liam said to Stiles before fixed his backpack strap and walked away.

"He wasn't lying that time." Scott said, with a smile on his face as he was proud to be recognized as team captain from his sophomore year.

While in math class, as Malia and Lydia were up at the chalkboard solving equations Stiles got an alert on his phone saying there was a triple homicide.

He was now in the hallway walking with Scott and Kira as they had just found out the news. "An axe murderer." Kira asked. "A family–murdering axe murderer." Stiles corrected.

"I already heard about it." Scott said. "Wait, what? You did? How?" Stiles asked.

"My mom called me, she knew we'd see it on the news." Scott explained.

"Perfect, let's go." Stiles said as he turned around to leave the school.

"Whoa, whoa, we've got econ in five minutes." Scott said, as he had now gotten to his locker.

"All right, did you forget the part about the family–murdering axe murderer." Stiles stated.

"Did you forget that your dad's the sheriff? They want us to stay out of it." Scott said to his friend.

"Are you guys kidding me? There's a family–murdering axe murderer and we're not going to do anything about it?" Stiles questioned, as he was now in his hyperactive detective mood.

"Maybe we should just let the adults handle it." Kira suggested.

Stiles did not like that idea. "So two of you, just want to stay here, school, go to class." Stiles stated not liking the plan at all. "Never heard of something irresponsible in my life." Stiles said walking off.

"See you at tryouts?" Scott asked. Stiles just flailed his arms at the question and turned the corner.

In the sheriff station Braeden was working her magic getting a case file about the family axe murderer in Beacon Hills.

After getting the case file Braeden then headed over to Derek's loft. Looking inside the case file Derek didn't seem satisfied. "There's nothing in here about Kate. This killer used an axe." Derek said, flipping through the pages. "Actually he used a military tomahawk." Braeden corrected, changing her shirt.

"That's not in this report." Derek said, as he finished reading it. "I know," Braeden answered. "Are you going to tell me what else you know?" Derek question. "Not yet, cause I don't really know much." Braeden said vaguely.

"But you know something," Derek hinted, turning around to face Braeden as she was finally done changing. To be honest, Derek had been in a sour mood lately so he didn't want to beat around the bush.

"Maybe, the problem is the people I need to talk to right now, don't talk to people like you. Especially since they just moved to Beacon Hills over a year ago." Braden explained, shrugging her shoulders.

"You want me to wait for you?" he asked. "I want you to trust me." she corrected.

"Why would I trust you? The last person I happened to trust just died, so I'm not really feeling very trusting right now. Plus I don't know anything about you."

"Yeah well, I know you. And I know what you really want." Braden said to the man looking him directly in the eyes.

"You want what Kate stole from you. The true nature of someone's reflection in their eyes. In your case, the color of your eyes." Braeden explained, as she walked over to her things grabbing them as she was about to leave.

"You get a week," Derek said, tossing her the shotgun she left on his table.

And with that Braeden left the loft.

At her house, Isabella decided to go grab her mail since she hadn't in a while and she also knew that it wouldn't be Zella's top priority while she was co-existing inside her body.

Walking outside, she opened her mailbox and the first thing she saw was an envelope from the sheriff's station.

Gathering everything else in the box, she closed it and headed back inside of her house.

As she sat everything down on her kitchen counter, she grabbed the envelope and opened it. It was a letter saying she had to get her personal effects from police lock up, since she apparently had been questioned involving a murder.

Isabella didn't know what to think, what the hell had her entity had done while in possession of her body in the last 2 months.

Seeing as it was a priority Isabella set out to go collect the personal belongings tomorrow.

☁︎︎

At Stilinski house, Malia and Stiles were studying math notes when Malia said she didn't understand the notes Lydia had written for her. So Stiles decided to take a look and noticed that the notes Lydia had written weren't math problems.

At the hospital, Lydia had informed Scott. that the Walcott's youngest son was there in the hospital and that Scott needed to get there himself. But Scott had informed her he was already there since he had to take Liam to the hospital for accidentally injuring his leg during Lacrosse tryouts.

While in the hospital Sean was hungry and not just for regular food, when his nurse Melissa McCall informed him that a police man was standing guard outside his room since his family had been murdered and he was the only survivor, Sean took his chance and feed on the guard.

Melissa being the good nurse she is, walked into to check up on him and saw him feeding on the now dead guard.

She was shocked to say the least and all Sean had to say was, "I couldn't help it. I'm so hungry. I'm just so hungry!" he said in a demonic-like voice. He had white glowing eyes and rows of teeth in his mouth as he yelled at Melissa.

Sean stood up slowly facing Melissa, "I think I'm ready to talk now." he said.

That was all it took for Melissa to try to run away from him, but he tackled her.

Scott, who was already in the building, heard his mother being attacked and came to her rescue. And he growled at the boy and Sean growled back.

Scott ran at him, then tackled him to the ground pushing him into a wall. Sean rattled at him, and pushed him back.

Saying that she was okay, Melissa told Scott to go get him.

Liam, who was in a different hospital room heard the commotion so he went into the hall to see if anyone else had heard it too, but looking around he found no one. "I thought I heard someone..." Liam muttered, then turned around to see a boy with blood around his mouth and on his shirt advancing towards him.

Scott was taking the stairs trying to find Sean and heard commotion like someone struggling. Going up on the roof he was met with Sean holding Liam over the edge of the hospital.

"Get back," Sean growled at him.

"You don't need to do this. Whatever it is, whatever you are, we can help you." Scott said, tried to bargain with the boy.

"No, you can't," Sean said.

"Let me help you." Scott said, being sincere.

"Wendigos don't need help. We need food!" Sean explained, as he was now struggling with Liam.

Scott saw this and jumped into action, pushing Sean back and going to grab Liam before he fell off the edge of the hospital as he was now dangling with one hand only holding him up.

Scott reached to grab the boy, but was also struggling to hold Sean back.

When Liam said, "I can't hold on!" as he was slipping away, Scott had no other choice to bite him as he was about to fall.

Liam screamed in pain as Scott sunk his teeth into his forearm.

Sean abruptly let go, and Scott pulled Liam back up over the edge.

But as he turned around he noticed that Sean was on the ground laying dead, and looked up to see a man with no mouth, with his finger over where his mouth would be signaling 'keep quiet'.

As Scott watched the man leave, he now had other problems to deal with.

That being Liam was now bitten by him and he didn't know if the bite was going to take or not.
