Saving Her

AIDEN AND ETHAN WERE RUNNING THROUGH THE WOODS OF BEACON HILLS TRYING TO DODGE GUNSHOTS. Ethan, dragging Aiden further to escape from the live fire, soon tumbled on to the ground from his own injuries not being able to hold up his brother's weight.

Out of nowhere, Zella and Derek appeared. "Run," Derek said as he grabbed Aiden and Zella helped Ethan and they ran together to get from the live gun fire towards safety.

In the school, Brunski from Eichen House finally entered with a few orderlies to bring Meredith back. Kira standing in the hall saw them enter, then saw Coach exiting the classroom. Running up to him,"Coach you can't let them take her back. It's hard to explain, but if you let her go back then really, really bad things are going to happen to Lydia, to Scott and Stiles and maybe everyone, including you. So please, please don't let them take her." Kira said in one breath.

"Who are you?" Coach asked.

"Um... I'm Kira. I'm new" she answered

Then Coach looked to the side of her and saw Brunski walking down the hallway with a smirk plastered on his face. "Oh, hell," Coach said, bringing his head down.

"Finstock, Coach Bobby Finstock. This is a delightful surprise, hmmm. What is that saying? Those who can't do, teach?" Brunski said, with a stupid smile on his face.

"Yeah, that's funny." Bobby said looking anywhere but Brunski.

"Is that Professor Finstock when you're off the field?" I'm glad to see you made it pro something, Bobby." Brunski taunted.

"It's Coach. Coach... You know... Professors teach college." Bobby explained.

"Oh, well, you let me know when you make higher education. Now, Coach, where's Meredith?" Brunski asked, cutting to the chase.

"She's fine. She's just sitting in my office." Bobby said opening the door, but Meredith was gone.

"Find her!" Brunski said to the orderlies and they spread out looking for her.

Allison was in her family's weapon room fixing up a sniper rifle when her father walked in. "I had a feeling, you might be down here." Chris said.

"I needed to do something. I hate waiting, feeling useless." Allison told her father.

"Where's Isaac?"

"He's trying to help Scott."

"Trying to be useful," Chris said and Allison nodded.

Allison started struggling with fixing the scope on the rifle and her dad saw her and  put a hand over hers to help her calm down, "Leave it for now, huh?" he suggested.

Bending down he told her, "I have something else you can do, something we should've done a while ago." unlocking a vault and taking out a box, as he opened it silver mini bars were inside with the Argent brand melted on them.

Taking one out and showing her Chris told his daughter, "It's time for you to graduate."

Lydia was kidnapped by Void and taken to the old Oak Creek Internment Camp, where the massacre caused the nogitsune to rise.

Walking down steps Lydia reassured herself, "They'll find me. My friends are going to find me." finally reaching a bar door she tried to open it to escape.

Void sat on the steps and watched her struggle, "You think so? I myself, was kind of wondering what they're doing right now." Void asked.

"What useless lead they're chasing, I wonder if maybe some of them have bigger problems to deal with right now. Are they really spending every minute looking for you? Or are they waiting for nightfall? Focused on some hopeless gesture to pass the time." Void patronized.

Pulling herself together Lydia turned to face Void, "What do you want?" Lydia asked.

"More," was all Void said, rising up from his seat on the steps.

"More what?" Lydia asked, wanting him to elaborate.

"The trickster stories are all about food, Lydia. The Coyote, the Raven, the Fox. They're all hungry, I'm the same. I just crave something a little different. I eat what you feel." Void stated, walking down the steps closer to Lydia.

And getting close enough to grab her hair and talk right into her ear Void said, "And I am insatiable."

In the music room, Meredith was plucking the strings of the piano trying to listen to the voices.

"I can hear you just a little louder, please." She pleaded, as a tear streamed down her cheek.

Brunski silently made his way into the music room with a taser by his side.

Hearing the taser crackle, Meredith turned around abruptly.

"Let's go, sweetheart. As you know I'm  not averse to using the tools of my trade." Brunski said, holding up a taser. "As often as necessary."

"I just... I need another second, okay? They're trying to tell me something." Meredith pleaded.

"Meredith." Brunski warned.

"Please, they're trying to tell me something."

And as Brunski was about to taser her, Coach caught his hand. "This school has a very strict no bullying policy." Coach said, then tased Brunski.

Scott, Kira and Stiles rushed in seeing Brunski on the floor, "Well, get her out of here." Coach told them, and they grabbed Meredith and took off.

And as Brunski was getting up Coach tased him again.

Getting in Stiles' jeep, Scott and Stiles turned around facing Meredith. "Okay, where's Lydia?" Stiles asked her.

"Whose Lydia?" she questioned.

Entering the McCall house, Scott, Stiles and Meredith were met with Rafael and Isaac in the kitchen.

"What are you doing here?" Scott asked his dad.

"I could ask you the same thing." Rafael countered.

"Free period. We're doing group study." Stiles lied.

"Who's she?" Rafael asked, referring to Meredith who stood in between Stiles and Scott.

Coming up with a quick lie, Stiles said, "She's my girlfriend." putting an arm around her shoulder.

"You're not my type." Meredith quickly said.

"Well, obviously we have a lot to talk about. We should maybe take this upstairs." Stiles said, trying to flee the room.

"He's my type," Meredith said looking at Isaac.

"Okay, Isaac you can come too." and they went upstairs.

Scott staying behind told his father, "Hey, Dad, I'll explain all of this later."

"I don't care that you're not in school. I know your grades are fine. All I want to do is talk." Rafael told his son.

"Now's really not a good time." Scott said.

"Scott. We need to talk." Rafael begged.

In the woods Aiden and Ethan were hiding out with Zella and Derek. "Where are we? Aiden asked.

"It's a coyote den. Stay quiet." Derek told him.

"Did you see the shooter?" You know who it is?" Aiden asked.

"No, we were a little busy, who else did the two of you piss off." Zella asked.

"We pissed off everyone. It was only a matter of time before someone caught up to us." Ethan explained.

"And this is why I'm thanking the ancestors for making me just during this time, like the lyrics said 'what goes around, comes back around'." Zella mumbled.

"Well, the bullets had Wolfsbane in them. So if we don't get you two out of here soon, the poison is going to spread. Stay quiet, we'll be back." Derek told the Twins and he and Zella left to go look for the shooter.

Walking in the woods it started to get darker and Zella started to get a really bad headache, noticing what it was she stopped and closed her eyes, as she opened them back up she was pushed into the astral dimension.

At first she didn't know why, but then the place eventually brought her to Lydia sitting down. She started looking around to see where the girl was to find any indicators and stumbled upon a large black gate with the words "OAK CREEK" across it.

Now knowing where the girl was, she went back in front of Lydia and yelled out. "I know you feel what's coming and it's okay." Zella said, calling out to Lydia on a level that a banshee could hear.

And sure enough Lydia did hear it.

Making her way out of the astral dimension, Zella caught up with Derek.

"I need to go, something has come up, something big." Zella told him.

He nodded and told her to be careful then watched her run off while he continued looking for the shooter or at least clues to who the shooter was.

Entering the old Internment Camp, Noshiko broke in with the oni by her side.

Finding out where Void was keeping Lydia, Scott, Stiles and Isaac were in the jeep racing to the old camp.

Void was waiting; he knew she was on her way. "You're nervous, aren't you? You know they're coming. You know she's going to kill you." Lydia said.

"Well, that's exactly why I'm keeping you so close." Void said to the shaken girl.

Arriving at the camp, Allison, Kira, Scott, Stiles and Isaac were walking up towards the gate.

"We've done this before, guys. A couple weeks ago we were standing around just like this and we saved Malia, remember? Scott asked the group, Allison nodded her head.

"That was a total stranger. This is Lydia." Scott said, giving a pep talk.

"I'm here to save my best friend." Allison said.

"I came to save mine," Scott said looking at Stiles.

"I just didn't feel like doing any homework." Isaac admitted.

And they all walked in.

Noshiko saw her daughter enter, "Kira, turn around and go home. Take your friends with you." She ordered.

"I can't. When I looked at the gameI realized who I was actually playing. You." Kira said, being very sure of herself.

Running into the camp, Scott and Stiles stopped so Scott could listen for Lydia. "She's here, this way." and they ran to find her.

"Call them off," Allison said, raising her bow and arrow at the older woman.

"You think you could take him alive? You think you can save him." Noshiko said.

"What if we can?" Kira asked.

"I tried something like that 70 years ago. Your friend is gone." Noshiko told them.

"Are you sure? Or if Stiles doesn't have to die. Maybe Rhys didn't have to die either." Kira said, stepping up to her mother.

The oni then got into their fighting  positions, Noshiko smiled at her daughter. "I see I'm no longer the Fox now, Kira. You are, but the nogitsune is still my demon to bury." she said, and the nogitsune disappeared.

Trapping her in a gate closing Lydia told Void, "They're here, she coming and I don't need to scream to know that they're going to kill you."

"Good, because that's exactly why I brought you. I needed to know when they'd be close enough. When my own death was closing in." Void said while taking Noshiko's foxtail out of his pocket.

And the oni appeared around them, "Cause only when they're close I can do this." Void said snapping the foxtail and taking control over the oni.

On her way, Zella felt her oni in the possession of him, which only made her speed up more, she knew someone was going to die tonight, but not on her watch.

Feeling the transition Noshiko saw the firefly die in her hand.

"Mom?" Kira asked

"What is that? What does that mean?" Isaac asked.

"It means there's been a change in ownership. Now they belong to me." Void said, with the oni behind him ready for his command.

Fighting for their lives.

Kira going toe to toe with Oni's.

Isaac clawing Oni's out fighting them as best as he could with the strength he had.

Allison shooting her bow and arrow.

Scott and Stiles finally found Lydia. "Lydia? Are you all right?" Stiles asked as Scott was unlocking her from the chamber.

"No, no, no, no, no. You weren't supposed to be here. She isn't supposed to be here. Who did you come with, is she here yet?" Lydia asked.

Isaac was getting overpowered by the Oni. Allison stepped in to help stop the oni from slicing him even more.

Kira, still occupied with fighting the other Oni's around her.

Seeing they were in a losing battle Isaac asked, "How do we stop them?" looking at Noshiko.

"You can't!" She yelled, afraid for the children.

Caught off guard, Isaac was sliced by an Oni.

Running back to the group Scott, Lydia and stiles were making it through the tunnels.

Stopping, "Lydia... Lydia, I can't... I can't" Stiles said, falling to the ground, with Lydia beside him.

Scott was still running making his way to the others.

Seeing he was losing his fight, Allison was shooting her arrows at the oni doing anything to stop them.

Void smiling seeing that the oni were winning.

Allison took out her last bow and aimed it at the oni, and shot it. Hitting it dead in it's chest, the Oni faltered , dropping it's sword to the ground. Yellow light shined out of it's chest and it disappeared in black smoke.

The next seconds moved in slow motion. She didn't see it coming, the oni coming towards here with it sword ready to strike, but she was pushed out of the way abruptly by her showing up and seeing the oni coming at the girl.

She took the stabbing with all her might so the child wouldn't go through that pain. So a father wouldn't lose his only family.

Lydia felt it in the tunnels, she felt the spirits shift. She screamed a name no one ever thought would come out of her mouth. The scream rang through Beacon Hills catching all supernaturals with super hearing off guard, especially a wolf with green eyes.

Lydia screamed her name and it was like time stopped all around.

"Zella!"
