in which a thrown high top of the starte of something new for a group of east high teenagers

in which miss jenn over hears their band practice and enlist them to help her with her 'grand' production of high school musical.

and while luke is all for it, mikey is a bit hesitant. luke agrees before mikey or the others can even say anything and after miss jen leaves mikey threatens luke so he runs, she takes off her shoe and chases him down the hall, then she throws the shoe - her high top converse - and it hits the wrong curly-headed boy.

๋࣭⭑⚝ mikey and ricky are non-negotiable, but all other love interests can be shifted around as you see fit

๋࣭⭑⚝ mikey and ricky are definitely enemies-to-lovers. they hate each other and they often banter. it isn't until close to the end of season one that they realize they like each other. mikey is the person ricky goes to when things with his parents get hard and she simply invites him on and they watch movies or play video games or something before she eventually gets him to talk

๋࣭⭑⚝ the band currently doesn't have a name, that's completely up to you. i could never come up with one, you have free rein.

๋࣭⭑⚝ luke is friends with ricky and big red, he's also friends with nini.

๋࣭⭑⚝ nini and ej still happen and while ricky tries to get her back, he slowly falls for mikey, who does nothing but pick on him endlessly. i picture nini being the one that actually notices ricky's feelings for mikey, she even says something to him about it and that's how he realizes it ( this would be around thanksgiving, when ricky and nini are friendly again )

๋࣭⭑⚝ luke and nini bond while they're working on the songs for the musical, they get closer and he's there for her when ej deletes the voicemail from ricky on her phone. and he slowly starts to fall for her but he keeps it to himself because he thinks she still has feelings for ej and/or ricky

๋࣭⭑⚝ any and all friendships ( aside from the band ) are completely up to you.

๋࣭⭑⚝ mikey is eccentric. she's always been a bit if a loner, she never really liked talking to people or spending her free time with them. she likes to read, though most of the time, her nose is buried in her songbook - which is sacred.

๋࣭⭑⚝ her best friend is luke. they've been friends since they were little - their moms were best friends and they spent a lot of time together.

๋࣭⭑⚝ luke is a musician. he plays the piano and the guitar and he sings. he's a skater, well, he knows how to board and he loves it but music is his passion. he's very outgoing and he loves people, he and micky are opposites.

๋࣭⭑⚝ luke and mikey are in a band - he plays guitar and sings while she plays the drums. they write their songs together. they've played a few gigs, mostly family gatherings - where both of their families show up. they have played a few school dances - a few freshman year but they were doing covers then. they started preforming their own songs in sophomore year and they have an ever growing fan base. they are pretty well known around school.

๋࣭⭑⚝ the band consists of mikey ( drummer / songwriter ), luke ( singer / songwriter / front man ), marley ( bass player / harmonies ) and tyler ( singer / guitarist )

๋࣭⭑⚝ i was thinking about using songs by forever in your mind or some of the songs from julie and the phantoms but you can use whatever songs you would like

๋࣭⭑⚝ mahina is the new girl. she just moved from hawaii where she was born and raised. it's an adjustment and she doesn't feel like she fits in at first. that is until she meets the band - luke, ty, and mars are the first to make her feel welcomed, mason is slow to open up but he eventually grows comfortable with her. but mikey has always been closed off to new people so it takes her a while.

๋࣭⭑⚝ the band started out just mikey and luke in his garage making music, but as they got older and they're music grew luke introduced marley and mason to the his best friend. she was slow to accept them and even slower to get comfortable with mars joining the band and mason always being around. it had only ever been her and luke since they were five and were banging on pots and pans.

๋࣭⭑⚝ tyler and mars joined the
band in middle school. tyler joined the year after mars

๋࣭⭑⚝ they are all juniors expect for mason, who's a sophomore ❪ 🕯️ ❫ and tyler, who's a senior ❪ 🕯️ ❫

๋࣭⭑⚝ mikey and luke are the songwriters but they do get help from the other members, tyler is also a great songwriter but he says his songs aren't ready to be played yet - mikey even offers her help and encourages him to show the rest of the band his songs.

๋࣭⭑⚝ tyler is a fun-loving goofball. he's definitely the comic-relief. he likes to make jokes, he's the chandler of the group.

๋࣭⭑⚝ mason is gay! please respect that. he's a bit shy, usually he hangs out with marley because he has very few friends.

๋࣭⭑⚝ marley is weird. she's a little spastic, but she has a good heart. i definitely see her as a phoebe type, from friends.

๋࣭⭑⚝ manni is a sweet girl, a little shy at first but once she opens up she's a bright and bubbly girl.

๋࣭⭑⚝ mahina means moon. it's a hawaiian name. her love interest would call her moon.

๋࣭⭑⚝ mikey is an only child, her parents are corinne and bruce paxton ❪ 🕯️ ❫ they are very supportive of the band and even drove them to their gigs before luke got his license.

๋࣭⭑⚝ luke lives with his mom, sabrina ❪ 🕯️ ❫ and his little brother, walker ❪ 🕯️ ❫. walker is very close to mikey, he looks up to her and is always attached to her when she's around. luke's dad left when when walker was three, he's eight now.

๋࣭⭑⚝ tyler just lives with his dad, rufus ❪ 🕯️ ❫

๋࣭⭑⚝ mahina lives with her mom, nanni ❪ 🕯️ ❫, and her uncle, charlie ❪ 🕯️ ❫. her dad passed away, which is why she and her mom moved in with charlie ( her mom's brother )

๋࣭⭑⚝ mason and marley come from a big family. their parents, amber and todd ❪ 🕯️ ❫. they have an older sister, she's 19, named jenna ❪ 🕯️ ❫ but she's off at college.
and two younger twin siblings, they are 10, ally and jack ❪ 🕯️ ❫
