"Same plan as before, gentlemen and beautiful...All the cash we can carry. Got to move fast, though." Ghost said swiftly blowing smoke from his mouth

From the words, beautiful alone John's grip had tightened softly around me.

"When you say 'fast', how fast?" Gordon questioned getting straight to the point

"Next Tuesday." He said blandly

"What?" Gordon asked with a slight chuckle looking over at us all who shared the same expression.

This wasn't possible and forcing it to be possible is dangerous.

"Ghost, you want us to take down an armored truck in five days?" Jake asked him in disbelief as his drink swayed back and forth in his glass hitting the edge of it due to his mannerism

"I mean, it's not even worth talking about unless you got the route and they change the route all the time." I finally spoke

"...That's what screwed us last time," Gordon concluded

"Yeah, man, you got the route?" Aj then asked

"I got it. Exact one from next Tuesday..." Ghost said cunningly as he handed the route over to Gordon before saying "Any more questions?"

"How'd you get it?" Gordon asked blowing a light cloud of smoke from his lips

"In the joint, I got in good with this Russian. Had the pleasure of keeping them guys from Compton off his ass. In exchange, he had his comrades on the outside put the arm down on the dispatcher. So the dispatcher do anything to screw the job up, they're wiping out his whole family back at the Ukraine. Down to the sheepdog." Ghost answered making my jaw harden at this stupid ass rant

Aj softly rubbed my knuckles that had tensed because of this whole situation causing me to look over at him with an unsure expression.

"Why should we trust the Russians?" John then asked

"They love their sheepdogs." Ghost replied blowing smoke from his mouth with a small grin making John slightly mock his expression

"All bullshit aside, I'm in for a quarter mil with the Russians out my cut when the job's done. It's not your concern, so don't trust the Russians. Trust greed." Ghost then said

"Why should we trust you?" Aj then asked

"Well, shit, Aj, I'm fresh out. I ain't in no hurry to go back. Besides, why would I screw over my guys and girl? Especially when you're holding all my money, right?" Ghost said

"I'm not your girl," I spoke up making his eyes sharply dart to mine with a small grin plastered across his lips

"Okay. What about the setup? I mean, there's knowing the route, and then there's the logistics, you know. Five days. Jake's right. That's a real, real short fuse." Aj explained

"That's where you come in...But I trust that when you, Jake, and Jade put your heads together, you'll figure it out...Either way, I need to know tonight. You ain't got the heart to pull it off, a'ight. We'll settle up on the money you owe me, I'm sayonara" Ghost concluded before saying "Appreciate your time, gentlemen...Thanks for the cigar." walking away down back into the club from the rooftop entrance

I let off a sharp breath and ran my hand through my hair I had straightened for tonight, the night meant for celebration not a bad case of nostalgia.

"Hey, G, let me check out that route." Aj then said leaning over toward Gordon who handed it to him with a simple "Yeah" before.

"This is not the way we do things, gentlemen, m'lady. It's too fast, it's too rushed...It's a lot of money, but this whole thing feels forced...Five days? Five?" Jake said eyeing all of us and our expressions

"I agree and I don't trust his cunning ass," I said gazing quickly at the stars

"Yeah, but, you know, we can get the setup right." Aj said making me scoff lowly as John said shortly after, "Bet big, win big. It's the only way to play."

"We're takers, gents, and lovely. That's what we do for a living. We take." Gordon acknowledged

"It's a lot of money, Jake. And that's what we're here for." Gordon said to me and Jake

"You sure about this?" Jake asked softening up on his original answer

"If it checks out," Gordon replied

"If it checks out, I'm in," Jake replied before Gordon looked over at me.

"Jade, you don't have to do this. I know you and Ghost have history and it may not be best for you. I'll still get you paid regardless." Gordon explained making me nod my head

"You guys got my back and I got you guys'" I replied before walking away over to the corner of the rooftop resting my hands on the ledge

I began to study the Los Angeles skyline and worry. I'm worried about Aj and John more than myself at this point because I know what type of evil lies in Ghost's heart.

And I knew he'd be coming for me whether I wanted him to or not.

"Jade." I heard John's voice call making me turn slowly seeing he and Aj were behind me

"Yes?" I answered before Aj said "You're coming home with me tonight if that's fine with you. We feel like you'd feel and be safer with one of us than alone."

"I'd like that," I replied blandly

"Jade, I know this is probably the last thing you want to hear right now but-" John began to say before I cut him off, "I'll choose after this job. But when I do it doesn't mean I don't care for the other." I said finally confessing the words they'd been waiting to hear from me.

"Alright." They both replied before kissing me on the cheek

"You're with me tomorrow," John said after biting his lip making me laugh lowly

"You two are going to pass me around like a hot potato, huh?" I joked

"Well, you are hot," Aj said after making me shake my head and laugh pinching his cheek

"I'm sick of you and this damn game!" I said aloud beginning to pout at the fact Aj had beat me in this goddamn game again

He did nothing but laugh at me as I rolled my eyes sticking my tongue out at him.

I then crawled into his lap and kissed his lips, "Let's go to the bedroom."

Aj's eyes followed me as his hands rested on my waist, "What do you want to do in the bedroom?"

"Well, I wanted to watch a movie and cuddle," I replied moving from his lap and beginning to walk up the glass steps towards his bedroom

I pushed the big door open and walked through sliding off my shorts and his shirt I had stolen, now completely naked as I slid into the crisp white sheets of his California King-sized bed.

Aj then walked through the door and said "What do you want to watch?"

"Just put something on and get in bed!" I said teasingly making him smile

"Alright, beautiful." He replied slipping his basketball shorts off leaving him in only designer briefs

I bit my lip at the sight as he got in bed causing me to turn so I could lay on his chest.

Aaron then laughed noticing I was naked and said, "When has you naked in a bed with me ever ended with us completing a movie?"

I then crawled on his lap and smiled hovering over him as his hands traveled to my bottom that he gripped making me laugh.

"I can't just get kisses?" I plead making him smile harder, "You can get whatever you want, baby." He replied in a promising tone

"Then kiss me," I asked innocently making him lean up and kiss me slowly making me smile into it before collapsing softly on his chest.
