Charlie and y/n were standing in front of Charlie's mom wardrobe. They looked at all the clothes.
"I don't know what to choose" Said a little y/n with puppy eyes, looking at Charlie.
He put a finger to his lips and thought.
"What about this?"
Charlie took a red foulard. Y/n smiled.
"I like it!"
"And I think we need a hat for your outfit" The boy climbed into the closet.
"Oh please Charlie, watch out" Said the girl worried.
He smiled and winked.
"I will be fine, cinnamon roll"
After he took a black french girl hat, put it on y/n head and the foulard around her neck.
"Now you are ready"
Y/n looked herself in the mirror.
"Am I pretty?"
Charlie looked at her smiling.
"Of course you are, you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen"
Y/n blushed as the boy took her hand.

Y/n was behind the sofa in the living room of Gillespie house. She waited for the boy to start playing the guitar to pretend she was doing a fashion show.
"What about "Where there was me and you" of High school musical?" Asked Charlie
Y/n giggled.
"Why?"
"Because I think is perfect for you"
Y/n bit her lips, luckily she was hidden behind the sofa.
"Okay"
Charlie smiled and started to play the guitar.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is y/n!"
The girl giggled and started walking around the living room like a star.
Owen was sat next to Charlie and put a hand on his face, giggling a bit.
Charlie stood up and started to sing, grabbing the girl's hand.

"I thought you were my fairy tale
A dream when I'm not sleeping
A wish upon a star
That's coming true"

Y/n grabbed his hand back and Charlie made her spin a couple of times. They started to dance like in a real musical.

They looked into each other eyes. Y/n was so happy, dance with him and sing was the best thing. They two always loved dance like in the musicals.
Charlie intertwined their fingers while they were so close.
"You are so small, I'm going to call you shawty"

Y/n got up and checked the time on her phone. It was three in the morning. She sighed and put her head on her pillow. Since she couldn't sleep, she went to her brother's room.

She got on his bed like a little girl who had had a bad dream and shook him.
"Wha- Am I watermelon at the supermarket? Why you gotta slap me?"
Y/n giggled.
"Good morning dear brother, can I sleep with you?"
Owen looked at her.
"Whats wrong?"
She sighed and went next to him.
"I dreamed of when Charlie and I used to play when we were kids. Do you remember when he danced with me and we did fashion shows?"
Owen smiled
"Yeah, you two were so happy and close. He always sang that song from High school musical for you to make you feel better"
"When there was me and you?"
"Yes, this song. I think it is thanks to him that you like to sing and dance"
Y/n sighed.
"Yes, we were so close..."
Owen patted her.
"Hey, he still cares about you, even if he is famous now, and didn't spend so much time with you"
"And he has a girlfriend" Added the girl sadly

"Y/n, tonight, when you're gone during the dinner, was because you like him?"
She blushed and nodded.
Owen hugged her.
"I'm sorry, but it's better if you don't think about him, you'll feel too bad"
A tear fell on her cheek.
"I love him, I really do"
The blonde boy was so sad for her.
"If he will ever hurt you, I will punch his face"
Y/n smiled.
"His pretty face?"
"Oh you are completely into this boy!"

The next morning, to avoid Sarah, y/n took the school bus.

"Hey y/n, today you took the school bus" Said Marisa
"Yep, I wanted to avoid Sarah and her flirt with Charlie"
Liam looked at her.
"Y/n you look sad, what happened?"
She sighed as Sarah, Charlie, Owen and the other walked in the hall.

Y/n looked at Charlie who waved at her with a smile. Sarah noticed and kissed him, making y/n more sad.
"Carolynn and Jeremy are going to marry"
"Oh, that's amazing! So why are you sad?"
"Charlie said that he wanted to ask Sarah to marry him..."
They all were shocked.
Marisa hugged her.
"This is not going to happen"
"You can't choose for his life"
"No, but I don't give up. I know that there is a chance"
Marisa pointed the poster for the school musical audition.
Y/n sighed and bit her lip.

"How this could be the solution?"
"Easy, look who put her signature on it"
The three looked at the signatures.
Sarah Jeffery.
"This means that Charlie will play too, and if you get the part, you will play with him, you two will be more close like when you were kids and boom, he will understand that he loves you. Love forever"
Y/n laughed.
"It sounds like a pathetic plan"
"But I know you will agree"
She was right.
