𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙙𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙩.

Blinking her eyes open slowly Cami Cooper sighs before snuggling closer to her pillow.

Suddenly her pillow begins to snore making the blonde pause.

Leaning up Cami looks to see herself lying on top of FP's chest as his arms are wrapped tightly around her holding her to him as if scared she would slip away in his sleep.

Smiling softly Cami raises her hand and rubs his cheek as a feeling of peace settles over her.

A feeling Camilla Cooper had never experienced before.

Stopping immediately Cami looks down at her hand and then at FP before a feeling of true fear overcomes her.

Being careful Cami gets off of FP's chest before heading towards the door although pausing last second remembering their conversation from the night before.

Heading towards the kitchen table Cami writes up a note saying she had to meet Veronica before grabbing her keys and phone and heading towards the door.

Looking towards FP once more Cami swallows before leaving as quickly as she could heading to the one place she always knew she could retreat and no one would be able to find her.

Standing in his kitchen Fred Andrews takes a sip of his coffee as Archie walks down the stairs.

"Morning. How did campaigning go this morning?" Fred questions Archie who smiles at him.

"Good although Cami was supposed to meet me but she didn't show up. I tried calling and she didn't answer. It went straight to voicemail," Archie says making Fred look confused for a moment.

Cami never skipped out on campaigning or bossing someone away. Especially if that someone was Archie.

Before Fred could say anything his phone began to ring making him grab it seeing Pop calling him.

"Hi Pop is something wrong?" Fred questions making Archie look towards him.

"Hey Fred sorry to bother you so early but Cami showed up an hour ago and went right behind the counter. She already had three strawberry milkshakes," Pop tells Fred who stops at that.

"I'll be there in ten minutes," Fred says before hanging up the phone as Archie looks at him.

"Everything okay?" Archie questions as Fred grabs his keys smiling at Archie tightly.

"Fine. Have a good day at school and make sure to eat something before leaving," Fred says hurrying out the door as Archie watches him go confused.

Sitting in the corner underneath the counter at Pop's Cami sips her fourth milkshake as she stares at nothing in particular just as the bell rings at Pop's.

Sighing as she finishes the fourth milkshake Cami was about to signal for Pop to get her another one when someone sits down right beside her.

Looking towards her right Cami immediately connects her eyes with Fred's worried eyes staring straight at her.

"It's been a while since we sat behind here Cami-Cam," Fred tells her as Cami sighs laying her head on his shoulder.

"What's going on Cami-Cam? Are you okay? Did someone do something?" Fred questions worriedly as he wraps an arm around her shoulders pulling her closer.

"You already went through four milkshakes so I know it has to be bad," Fred tells her as Cami smiles slightly although it is tight.

"I don't know what to do Freddy," Cami whispers as Fred looks down at her.

"Well tell me what the problem is and I'll help you figure out what to do next," Fred tells Cami who pauses before nodding as she takes a deep breath.

"I'm scared Freddy," Cami begins as Fred looks at her and Cami shakes her head.

"No, I'm terrified. I don't know what to do," Cami whispers to him as Fred holds her tight to him.

"Is it about that guy you're seeing? Did he do something? Did something happen?" Fred questions as Cami looks at him with tears filling her eyes.

"Last night he yelled at me regarding my safety and I felt like I was back to that little girl being yelled and I thought that was it. It was the end I knew was coming," Cami says as Fred nods along.

"But when he saw how I acted he pulled me into him. He explained that he was worried and scared before apologizing repeatedly. Then turned on my comfort movie and gave me Oreo ice cream with extra Oreos on top while he held me tightly all night," Cami says as the first teardrops and Fred pulls her closer.

"Okay, then why are you crying now?" Fred questions her.

"Because when I woke up Freddy I've never felt so safe and loved in my life. This morning I woke feeling so happy that I was terrified. More than I've ever been terrified because I'm falling for him. Hard. I've never felt like this before," Cami tells him as Fred sighs realizing now what was happening.

"What if he hurts me, Freddy? And I don't mean physically he never would I mean mentally. Emotionally. I can't go through that again. I just can't," Cami tells him as her voice breaks making her wipe her tears as she shakes her head.

"So I'm sitting here hiding out in Pop's drinking my soon-to-be fifth milkshake trying to figure out what to do," Cami tells him as Fred nods signaling Pop to get him another milkshake.

"Why haven't you told me who it is yet?" Fred questions her making Cami look at him surprised.

"What?" Cami questions confused as Fred stares at her.

"Answer the question. Why haven't you told me or anyone besides probably Veronica?" Fred questions as Cami shrugs looking forward once again.

"I don't know maybe because I didn't want anyone to judge," Cami says well more questions as Fred stares at her.

"Cami you have never once cared about others' opinions. You might be a people pleaser but when you feel strong about something you will never let anyone stop you," Fred tells her as Cami doesn't look towards him.

"So you want to tell me the truth?" Fred questions as Cami looks towards him.

"It made it real," Cami whispers as Fred nods at her.

"If I told you it became real. It wouldn't just be a one-time thing," Cami tells him softly.

"You've always been one foot out the door waiting for the shoe to drop. But now you've realized you are in love with him and you're scared because now it's real," Fred tells her as Cami looks away from him.

"It's okay to let yourself fall Cami because something tells me that he's falling just as hard, and the good thing about falling with someone is that usually you catch each other," Fred tells Cami watching her the entire time.

"How do you know he's falling just as hard? What if I'm just a pastime," Cami questions but even as she felt the words come out they still felt wrong.

"Because who couldn't Cami," Fred tells her making Cami chuckle at that.

"There's that smile," Fred says smiling at her as Cami shakes her head just as Pop smiles at her handing her another milkshake.

"Thanks, Pop," Cami tells him as he winks at her before stopping to look at her.

"He feels the same Cami," Pop tells her making Cami look at Pop wide-eyed as he walks away to help a customer while Fred starts laughing.

"Maybe you haven't been as secretive as you think and I'm just blind," Fred states making Cami push him as she tries not to laugh.

"Even Mary commented. Saying something about finding love somewhere she never thought you would but seems so relaxed and happy with him," Fred says as Cami sighs but smiles before nodding.

"I need to get up off the floor don't I?" Cami whispers making Fred look towards her.

"Whenever you want to. No rush," Fred tells her as Cami nods her head before laying it on Fred's shoulder.

"Five more minutes Freddy," Cami whispers as Fred wraps an arm around her.

"Five more minutes Cami-Cam," Fred tells her kissing the top of Cami's head as she closes her eyes relaxing and finally feeling a little bit more at ease.

After finally getting off the floor at Pop's heads to Fred's and decides to camp out there while he goes to work.

On her second bowel of Oreo ice cream while watching Pretty Little Liars the doorbell rings followed by someone entering the house.

"You do know there was a serial killer not that long ago killing people," a familiar voice says making Cami look up mid-bite of her ice cream.

"He had his chance more than once. Maybe the third time is the charm!" Cami says sarcasm leaking from her tone as Jughead glares at her walking in the house shutting and locking the door behind him.

Cami sits on the couch as Jughead comes and sits beside her taking the spoon from her hand and taking a bite as Cami scoffs at him.

"Jerk,"  Cami says she snatches the spoon back dipping it back into her ice cream for another bite.

"You missed school today. It was very interesting," Jughead says as Cami hums looking at the TV.

"The Bulldogs found out a serpent was sleeping with Midge," Jughead tells her as Cami tenses up looking wide-eyed.

"That answers my question. Fangs wouldn't tell me that you knew but I knew you did. You always know everything," Jughead tells Cami who sends him a look over her shoulder that said she was already done with him before sighing.

"Yes, I knew. And I told him to tell the sheriff. If he didn't that is his own mistake. He needs to take responsibility for his actions," Cami says as she takes another bite of her ice cream Jughead stares at her before placing a hand on her forehead feeling it.

"You don't feel like you have a fever," Jughead tells Cami who ignores him.

"Cami! Hello! I need your help before Fangs ends up dead," Jughead tells Cami who looks at the TV before groaning as she pauses and sets her ice cream bowl done.

"First of all Fangs has an alibi. He was with Sweet Pea who both found me unconscious. Fangs were sneaking Sweet Pea in the back. Idiots," Cami says shaking her head as Jughead just stares at her not knowing what to say.

"Second of all Fangs just needs to confess to the sheriff or it's going to get worse. Like probably a mob trying to kill him worse. Also, I saw the figure who knocked me out. The same figure who shot me at Pop's so yes he will be fine," Cami says as she snatches her ice cream back up.

"Now that I solved your problem I'm getting back to watching Toby Cavanaugh and Caleb Rivers. Nice to see you again. Love you. Don't bother me anymore," Cami says as she passes play while Jughead just stares at her beyond confused.

Standing in the bathroom at the Andrew's house Cami finishes putting on her lipstick before looking at her outfit which consists of a white dress with brown polka dots along with a strap lair of brown heels just as someone comes to the door.

"Finally going to stop hiding out of the house," Fred says as Cami looks at him smiling softly seeing him dressed in a pair of jeans with a collared shirt with a sweater over it.

Reaching up Cami fixes his collar as Fred looks at her.
"I'm not hiding. Just taking a break," Cami says as Fred stares at her.

"You are definitely hiding," Fred tells Cami who shakes her head at him.

"I'm processing," Cami corrects as Fred hums shaking his head at her.

"And I wouldn't miss this debate. For anything even if I'm hiding," Cami says as Fred smiles at that.

"Fangs was arrested while you were hiding," Fred tells Cami who looks at him.

"Did he turn himself in?" Cami questions Fred who shakes his head as Cami groans.

"I check out for two days and Fangs is arrested Betty is going crazy with Cheryl, Veronica is trying to open a casino, and my phone won't stop going off. Does no one in this town know how to do anything without my help?!" Cami groans as she steps out of the bathroom.

"I'll meet you at the debate!" Cami calls out as Fred shakes his head.

"Grab a jacket Cam-Cami! And I love you!" Fred calls out as Cami smiles.

"I love you too Freddy," Cami calls out smiling as she leaves the house.

Arriving at Sunnyside Trailer Park Cami parks her car and starts getting out just as the front door of the Jones trailer opens.

Staring straight across the parking lot at each other Cami and FP don't move a muscle.

"You got this Cami," Cami thinks to herself before taking a deep breath as she begins walking towards the trailer FP just stares at her not saying anything.

"Why the hell didn't Jughead listen to me and have Fangs turn himself in?" Cami questions annoyed as FP stares at her scoffing as the two head into the trailer.

"That's the first thing you ask me after I wake up alone and have no idea where you are. When we just talked about me worrying about your safety. It's a good thing Fred knows how to answer the phone because you obviously don't," FP tells her as Cami stares at him.

"I was fine. I just needed some time to gather my thoughts. Why do you care anyway?" Cami questions before internally yelling at herself. She always knew the answer to that. 

"Why do I care?" FP questions more himself than Cami before throwing his arms in the air.

"Because you make me crazy! Do you not understand?!" FP exclaims as Cami stares at him wide-eyed.

"When I'm with you I think of you. When I'm away from you I worry about you! And it's driving me insane! You are driving me crazy! Some type of spell you've cast on me or something because you just drive me completely nuts half the time and the other time I'm completely enthralled by you!" FP tells her as Cami stares at him gulping slightly.

FP walks closer to Cami staring at the girl as he sighs cupping her check making Cami stare into his eyes.

"You have to stop Cami," FP tells her as Cami blinks trying to stop the tears from falling.

"Stop looking for reasons to leave. Reasons why this won't," FP tells her as Cami goes to open her mouth but FP shakes his head.

"I know that your parents drilled it in your mind that you don't deserve to be happy and that you shouldn't put yourself first but do and you should. Let yourself be happy Camilla," FP tells her as Cami shakes her head letting the first tear fall.

"You don't get it," Cami tells him as FP looks at her.
"Then explain it to me. Make me understand," FP tells her as Cami takes a step back from him.

"Camilla," FP says sighing as Cami wipes the tear away.

"Because I'm terrified!" Cami screams at FP as she turns around taking a deep breath while FP stares at her.

"Why?" FP asks her as Cami spins to him looking wide-eyed.

"Because I love you!" Cami exclaims as FP stares at her speechless as Cami gulps.

FP opens his mouth but before any words can escape Cami's and FP's phones begin to ring making them look toward them to see Sweet Pea and Jughead calling them.

Cami wipes the first as she answers her phone.
"Sweet Pea I'm-..," Cami begins as FP answers his own phone.

"Wait what? Fangs was what?!" Cami yells as she looks wide-eyed before looking at FP both of them completely in shock.
